I only remove bats. I don't work with any other animals. No traps or chemical are ever used. If you find a bat flying in your house I can explain to you how to get it out or come out to remove it.
Description of Work: He was able to remove the bats from my chimney and prevent them from returning. I was amazed at his knowledge of bats.

It worked perfectly- Phillip Lindhurst even came back to check on the sleeve after we had some bad weather- to make sure everything was in order. When a determined number of days passed, he returned- removed the sleeve and sealed the entrance. I originally had contacted him this Summer, but he told me not to do anything until September- as the bats have young , and it was necessary to wait until all could fly. He is very knowledgeable about bats, and very reliable.
Description of Work: Bat removal. I had bats that were living in my chimney. He placed a sleeve on the entrance point where bats were entering in my chimney so that they could exit but not re-enter

Phil performed work on our roof line to exclude the bats, returning several times at dusk to check to see if the bats were exiting from the area he had excluded and to validate that they weren't leaving from other points that he had missed. He also spoke with our roofer about alterations that could be done to our flashing to prevent further entry. We live in a townhome community and after working on our home he realized that our neighbors, who have a fire wall that is adjacent to ours, also had a bat issue in multiple areas of their roof line - he also worked with them to exclude the bats from their property. While I hope to not have a bat problem in the future if I did I would not hesitate to call Phil again to exclude them.
Description of Work: Phil came and inspected our roof line to identify where the bats were gaining entry and detailed a plan for exclusion.

He informed me that bats don't usually reside in attics or on stucco houses. He visually inspected the perimeter of my house looking for signs of bats getting in. He didn't find any. I still feel they may reside in the eves of my home. We don't have any mosquitos in the area due to their presence (from what I understand bats eat their bodyweight in mosquitos nightly) I just don't want them to take residence in my house. He gave me some level of comfort, but I'm still not certain they aren't making a nest in my home. I'm certain that I heard them swarming at dawn right outside the guest bedroom window when I was staying there due to construction in the master bath.
Description of Work: He performed a visual inspection of my house and the surrounding houses to determine where the bats reside.

Description of Work: We had bats entering our home by the chimney and in other places. The Batman came, assessed the situation and set up devices so that the bats could get out but not get back in again. He had to come back several times to get them all out, which he did without complaint. We have a very steep roof and hard to reach chimney, but he did the job. We're now bat free.

On the phone he sounded professional but after he came to do the work that changed. His work was sloppy and his attitude. He told me "I was paying for his knowledge". The only positive is that he was he did get rid of the bats.

The bats all left and the stuff that he used to seal up the opening and any other possible places they could get in or out was totally invisible. Mr. Lindhurst was very professional and we would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: A couple of months before we had had another company come out because we had bats in the firewall of our townhome. Not having dealt with this problem before we had 'Spot treatment only', 'no warranty' and thought sealing up the one exit/ entry point would take care of the problem. The bats found a way to get into the firewall on the opposite side of the house.Phillip Lindhurst came out and showed us where they were getting in and quoted us a price on not only excluding them from that point but sealing up all possible places on our house. He also guaranteed that should they ever get in anywhere again (very unlikely) it would be a cost of $50 to take care of whatever was needed to exclude them. We decided to have him do the job and were very pleased with the results.

The project was somewhat more difficult than it initially appeared to be, partly due to the steepness of the roof and the location of the bats' entry/exit. Phil made a number of visits to the house in order to study the bats and work on the project. I paid him in advance, more or less, and this was not a problem. He repeatedly checked to see whether the bats had left the house, and modified his tactics until he and I were convinced that the bats were gone. Phil appear to loves his work, and he was just great to work with.
Description of Work: In July 2010, we discovered that a colony of bats was living somewhere under our roof -- at least 2-3 entered the living area of the house. (If this happens to you, consider getting the rabies vaccine.) When I called Phil, he told me that it would be best to remove the bats after August, and so we waited until September. Phil and Above All Roofing (see roofing reports) worked together extremely well on the project, which turned out to be somewhat more complicated than it first appeared. The bats were removed from the house. They were not killed, except for two that I took to the rabies lab after they entered the house.

Phil was great. He arrived on time and was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and offered a lot of advice and expertise on bats. Phil found the likely point of entry for the bats, installed his exclusion device, and then went all around the house locating and sealing off other possible entry points. He returned a few days later as promised and removed the temporary exclusion device and sealed the final gap. Since then, we've had no sign of anymore bats -- it seems they're all gone!
Description of Work: We had bats in our chimney and fireplace. Phil installed a temporary exclusion device at the likely entry point to allow bats to leave but not re-enter. He also identified and sealed off other possible points of entry all around the house. A few days later, he returned and removed the temporary exclusion device and sealed off the final entry point.
