Description of Work: Owner polite, punctual, informative. Inspected huge declining water oak and developed plan to trim, feed, and wait until cut it down. workers trimmed total 5 trees; were professional, efficient, helpful, punctual, and removed all debris.

Description of Work: Texas Tree Team arrived prepared with enough personnel and equipment to cut down a very tall, but sick, oak tree in our back yard. When they finished that job, they put all the timber into their truck to haul off. Also, they ground the stump. Everybody was polite and efficient. Yes, we consider this company's name and phone number "a keeper".

Description of Work: We had a tree planted in our back yard. We had lots of help choosing the right tree, location and info on the care of the new tree. When we were worried that it might not be doing well, they came right out and checked it for us. We have also used this company for tree trimming and have been very happy with all interactions. They are not the least expensive, but a very good value.

Description of Work: They trimmed the live oak in my front yard. Before the work itself, an arborist visited to assess the job. I wasn't able to be present for his visit, so he called me afterwards to discuss the trimming ad to discuss root barriers, which I had asked about. He took the time to discuss the root barrier work in detail, and I chose to postpone that work until after foundation repair. He sent me a price quote via email. The price was lower than I anticipated (lower than I had previously paid to a crew that was trimming a neighbor's tree and knocked on my door to offer their services since they were already conveniently on site. And lower than my regular landscaping guy offered to do the job.) There was excellent communication at all times between Texas Tree Team and me. I was at home when they did the trimming work, and they were fast and very professional. I had some questions after the trimming, and the arborist returned to my house to look at the tree and answer my questions. The trimming crew returned to my house to remove from my roof a small branch that had been trimmed off the tree, fallen to the roof, and escaped their attention during the job. In summary, I don't see how they could have improved on their services. They were great in every way, and the price was an excellent value for the work performed.

Description of Work: They came out ahead of time and walked around the entire yard with me. Then they emailed a proposal of all the work we discussed and put prices on each item so as to delete things if the price was too large. Yesterday they began work and I came home to check progress around 11:30 and they were almost completed. They trimmed trees and cut and stump grounded some in my back yard. They brought two crews. I was supposed to double check so that everything got done. I was very pleased at the progress.

Description of Work: Glenn is FANTASTIC! I needed him to look at a crepe myrtle that was very close to my townhome and determine the best strategy for trimming. He was able to come by when I wasn't home and make some recommendations based on the tree size and location. This was the second time I've used Texas Tree Team and would highly recommend them again. Services were not performed this time around, at Glenn's recommendation. EXCELLENT company!

Description of Work: Trimmed 1 large live oak, 2 medium water oaks, and a 40 yr old pine tree. 2crews arrived early, efficiently trimmed the trees and cleaned up the yard and swept the roof. The trees look great now.

Description of Work: In previous years they trimmed our trees and cut down a small pomegranate. This year our front yard oaks are on a feeding regimen with them. The arborist felt the back yard trees did not need feeding. When I discussed some insect problems on a Meyer lemon, he offered to spray it gratis while they were here. Nice!

Description of Work: Called to have them give me a quote on a small tree/shrub that I wanted removed. They were a little late due to traffic, but it's Houston. Their minimum price for anything is $250, so if you have anything simple or something that won't even take an hour to do, I wouldn't waste your time with these guys. They never ended up giving me my quote, even though I called them back twice asking for it. So I never ended up using them. Really surprised since they had an 'A' score.

Description of Work: We have two very large ash trees that were trimmed, and they even hauled away our trimmings from earlier trims for a decent price. These two trees were hanging over the street, sidewalk, our cars, and garage -- so they were pruned back enough so that they grow properly in the right direction (upwards rather than outwards). These guys did a great job -- no complaints from the hubby. They were very professional, and explained everything that they were going to do before doing it. For the quote, they were prompt and gave us a realistic quote with no strings attached. The final number ended up being what was quoted to us. After researching several different tree companies, this was the most reasonable/affordable price considering other places were going to charge us WAAAAY more. And now that we've used this company, we know we got the value that we paid for when paying that much for tree trimming -- we would use again, very happy customers!
