As expected.

My son discovered a two-foot long crack at the main fork of the tree on a Saturday morning. Had the crack developed enough to split the tree, it would have fallen directly onto the roof, probably taking down a chimney on the way down. I called Texas Tree Team's emergency number and quickly got a call back from arborist Glen Genzel, who graciously agreed to come by and inspect the tree on Sunday afternoon. He came on time, assessed the damage, and recommended removing the half of the tree hanging over the house for $650. We agreed that the work would be done the next day. The crew showed up on time and proceeded to remove the overhanging half of the tree, very expertly and efficiently. They did an excellent job of cleanup.

Glen, the representative who came out to do the free estimate was very nice. He emailed the proposal to me, which was a nice touch. It took a little more back-and-forth than what I would have liked to set up the actual appointment, but the actual tree trimming went very well. The crew was professional and fast. They cleaned up all the debris and left the area as they found it. They checked with me before they left to make sure it was trimmed the way I wanted. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely use them again.

Shane Hrobar, the arborist, showed up on time for our appointment after first giving me a 30 minute courtesy call which I had requested. I showed him the lecanium scale on my oak tree which he took a look at. He commented that I had done my research and when I told him that yes, I found a lot of information on the internet, he commented that it was a welcome change to have a knowledgeable client. This is in contrast to many service providers whom I have found do not like or appreciate the fact that the internet is a powerful tool. Shane did a a "squeeze" test to determine whether the scales were active and when he saw that they were not, indicated that the damage for the year was probably already done. We talked openly about the use of horticultural oils, injections, treatments at the base, -- pros and cons of each, what he felt would and would not work for my situation and the Houston area, best time to treat, etc. Keep in mind that many of these things would not result in revenue for Texas Tree Team. I also appreciated the fact that Shane seemed to want to do minimal damage to the tree, i.e. don't over-treat. Shane probably spent close to an hour with me, and then later that afternoon I received an in depth email with a summary of what we discussed as well as what my action plan should be. There was no high pressure sales pitch and no scare tactics. I found the whole experience to be very professional, friendly and informative. I will definitively be calling Texas Tree Team the next time I have need for tree service.

The men did a great job. They were very professional. When I asked them to thin two of the trees a little more, they went right to work. When they finished, they checked with me to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. All debris was cleaned up. I will definitely use them again.

They were very good and worked with me quite a bit. They have good service, were on time and did the job in one day. I was pleased with them. Their pricing was competitive. I will use them again in the future.

Glen came out to do an estimate and arrived at the scheduled time. The crew arrived at the scheduled time on the scheduled day. They did the entire job in about six hours. During the cutting process, many little branches became scattered across the yard. When they left, all of this was cleaned up. The yard looked like it had been swept with a broom. I would recommend that everyone check with the Better Business Bureau, as well as Angie's List. The Texas Tree Team had a A rating. They provided proof-of-insurance before they came to do the job. This very large, tall tree was very close to my house. As a precaution, I took photos of everything near the work being done. I would recommend that to everyone, regardless of the company that they decide to use.

Glen Ginzel, the Arborist, came out to look at the trees and prepare an estimate. The work was scheduled for early the following week. The crew showed up on time and got to work. It is always a pleasure to watch experts do their job, and the crew from TTT was no exception. They were so efficient, finished an hour earlier than estimated and totally cleaned up the yard and our driveway. We were very impressed and would use them agian for tree services.

When we were in the process of getting bids, Glen Ginzel, with the Texas Tree Team arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. He was very professional. When he emailed the written bid, the price was actually $50 lower than the price he originally quoted! He gave this discount based on scheduling the work on the date he had other work in our area. On the day the job was scheduled, the workers arrived early and removed the tree very quickly. They left the work area clean and debris free. Very satisfied with the service.

They arrived on time and were very professional. They took their time to take down the large pine so that nothing was damaged. They cleaned up and did exactly as we previously agreed. I had a few other bids on this job, but this company was the lowest price. I would recommend them to anybody who needs tree service. I was especially impressed with Glen who was the individual who came out to discuss the job and give me a bid.

Glen Ginzel (ISA Certified Arborist) came out and walked my entire yard with me discussing everything that I wanted done. He was professional, polite, nice and in no way appeared rushed. He concluded that because I am very particular about my yard and keep it in a manner that appeals to birds, insects and animals, the best way to provide the service I needed was to send a 3 man crew out for an entire day so I could be sure that all went as I wanted. Glen also spent some time locating the 30 gallon Satsuma tree I wanted because there are not many 30 gallon Satsuma trees available in our area. I know because I couldn't find one and Glen worked hard and finding one. The man in charge of the crew, William Blanco, was excellent. The crew was excellent. Everyone was professional, pleasant and efficient. I couldn't be happier. The price was more than fair. I would recommend them to anyone and I certainly intend to use them again. I have in previous years used other professional tree services and Texas Tree Team is the first and only one I would recommend!

It went great! They did a great job and I can see my house now. I called another provider to check pricing and TTT was cheaper and knew their business better so I chose them. We were very happy with their services.

They came and looked at our trees and sent me a price quote by email. When they arrived to do the work, they handed me a bill for $50 more than the quote. As a first time customer, I did not know whether it was a mistake or their routine practice. I did mention the error to Ray, but rather than argue, I paid the full price. Six months later, I received a demand letter saying that I had not paid them! I had my lawyer (my father) send them a letter. They wrote back saying that they had credited my account. What really irritates me about the whole situation is that they never apologized for their mistakes. That was just unacceptable as far as I am concerned, and I will never use them again.

Great experience! Crew showed up on time, removed tree and cleaned the yard in less than 2 hours. We would definitely call this company again.

My overall experience with them was good. They were fast and they seemed extremely knowledgeable. They were very efficient and friendly. I liked everything about them and I would recommend them to other members. They were not the most expensive in terms of pricing as compared to the other service providers that I received quotes from. I have already told them to come out in the spring and do the deep root feeding to the trees to get my lawn back into shape.

Right from the beginning these guys were great. The girl who answered the phone was able to get someone immediately out to my house to give me a quote. I was lucky enough to get Glen who came to my house. Glen is one of those people that are very knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does but is able to break it down for lay people. My husband I were told we had pine beetles and would have to spray about 6 times a year to save our trees, this was told to us by another company. We wanted to get a second opinion so we called Texas Tree Team. Glenn came out and told us right away that no we did not have pine beetles and yes he could tell me that and charge me for the service but that is not how Texas Tree Team works. He showed me why he knew we did not have a bug problem. Showed me what to look for in the future to make sure we didn't have bugs. He explained to me root systems and everything else about how to keep my trees healthy. He also showed me some past damage that I might need to keep my eye on. They gave the best quote for tree removal and was able to have someone the next day out to take care of it. The crew that came out were very quick, safe, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up everything and was gone and the place looked better after they left then before. I plan on using Texas Tree Team whenever I need anything done with my trees. I also have told a couple of neighbors about them and they plan on using them as well. These guys are great. Give them a call. You will not be disappointed.

It was great, they did a very good job. They did a great job in the clean up, they were on time and they called me back right away when I first reached out to them. They were all together pretty professional. They were pretty flexible, we made changes at the last minute and they did some extra work that I threw in at the last minute.

The sales rep was very professional with a visit, written estimate and follow up. The crew did a nice job. They did some minor damage to a wrought iron fence which they fixed promptly without argument.

Ray was very knowledgeable about the business. He was very professional. We were simply amazed by the professionalism of his team. They knew exactly what they very doing and did a a very thorough job. I was very pleased with the outcome. I will certainly use them again.The experience of the team really showed in their work. The best part is that he sent me a bill after the work was completed, and said that I only paid after I was completely satisfied.

Prompt. They came over two days because the stump grinding team was not able to complete the work the same day as the tree removal team. They even left us some beautifully cut white oak for future fireplace logs.

The night before the scheduled job, high winds blew down one of five smaller trees in front of my house, so I decided to have the Team remove the remaining four. Also, my wife asked for another small tree in the side yard to be removed. So the job ended up being $1300, which I believe was a little high, but not unfair. They showed up right on time, worked in a very professional way, and cleaned up well.
