Trimmed and thinned two oaks, removed a crepe tree and grinded stump down.

Great. I was not there when they did the actual work but there were no complications or disputes. I liked working with the man who originally came to give a bid. He was very professional and he followed through with what he said. If more companies had people who believed in the service aspect of a business, then people like me would have less headaches.

The initial consultation was very professional. The workers came on time and were very efficient and professional. They cleared away all debre. And were done in less than 2 hours. A neighbor caught me before I left on an errand that day and asked how much it cost me and how beautiful my trees looked. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone. The coupon I got on Angie's list was definitely worth buying.

Just after purchasing an Angie's List coupon I contacted the provider and they had my purchase already listed. The appointment for a review of the work needed was set. They called same day of appt. to confirm and their Rep. came by to discuss scope of work. We set a second appt. for actual work and the communications between were excellent. I would not be in town and they worked with a relative to complete the job. They called all the appropriate numbers before arriving and completed the work as promised. My requirements were not large and the coupon value limited the amount of tree trimming I was having performed as I was not ready to add in additional charges for a total overhaul. They had no problem with the small job option. In fact, the Rep. suggested I did not need to trim my major trees any further based on his expertise on tree health. I felt the service and advisory was excellent. I would use them again and refer them. I never felt a hard sell was in place or that I was being told other than the truth. They deserve the fine reputation they have. I will use them for a major project at some point. Communications were excellent and that was a big part of this working out.

Branches were removed from the roof area as requested during our phone conversation. Lack of communication from beginning to end was a problem I had with this service provider. My main disappointment was I would have paid extra to have three branches removed from over driveway and sidewalk. I took a half day of work off to meet the workers for the scheduled appointment between 12 & 2. When I arrived home a couple of minutes before 12 I found work completed and workers gone.

It worked out really good. They were courteous, professional and they were on time. They did a great job on the clean up. I would use them again.

We selected Texas Tree Team for their outstanding ratings on Angie's List. The entire experience met or exceeded our expectations. From the initial appointment scheduling to the final billing, the process was prompt, efficient, and professional. Glen thoroughly explained the problems with our trees, and provided several options. We appreciated that there was no "hard sell". There were two separate visits: one for pruning and tree removal and another for the fertilization and planting. Both crews arrived at the scheduled time, performed the services as requested, and thoroughly cleaned the yard afterwards. Detailed instructions were provided to care for the crepe myrtle to ensure that it survived the shock of transplanting. As others have stated in their reviews, the yard cleanup was so thorough that the only evidence that work had been done was a vastly improved landscape. The price seemed quite reasonable for the amount and quality of services provided and we took advantage of an Angie's List Deal and saved an additional $100. We would definitely use Texas Tree Team again and would highly recommend them to others.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal ($250 for $500). The quote was done very professionally with very explicit detail as to the work to be performed. Work was scheduled on the next available date which was 2 to 3 weeks later. The tree trimming was done very well. The trimming exceeded expectations in all areas. On my walk through of the backyard after trimming, the only debri that was lift was one small twig and one missed trimmed up branch about 6" long. They moved items around in the backyard so as not to damage them with falling pieces. Basically the backyard looked cleaner after they left than when they got there. The only downside of the whole experience was, since I had bought the coupon prior to the quote, I did not get competitive quotes. I thought the full price quote without the Angie's list coupon was a little high but it has been 3 years since my last tree trimming so prices may have gone up that much since then. In conjunction with the coupon, I feel I paid a good price and definitely got a top tier trimming.

Lisa and Brittany are awesome the office ladies, who I'm sure the work would not get done without them . Glen was my arborist who came by my home while I was at work, sent me detailed quote for the work to be done. We have a large oak on a corner lot, which struggles between letting a shade tree be a shade tree, and not letting it take over my house and the street. Glen made 2 trips to make sure we were on the same page regarding the Oak and I added additional work. Glen's communciation was awesome, work was scheduled, the office confirmed work day ahead of time. When I arrived home on work day, you would not have known they had been there, except my trees and shrubs looked great, you could see my house again. Will definitely use them next year. !! I usually have the oak trimmed every year, and other palms, so I'm accustomed to having to baby sit, because it seems I speak a different language. Many times, I can't tell any work is done at all. Not so with Texas Tree Team and I didn't baby sit the work, that is how much of a professional Glen is, I felt confident his team would provide outstanding service.

They arrived just before 4:00, with a truck and towing a very large trailer. Several others arrived in a van. There were a total of five people with matching T shirts. One person did all the tree cutting with a chain saw. He trimmed the oak first and then went to work on the 30' Bradford pear. He notched the tree and had three others pulling on a line that was into the tree. He then cut the tree from the other side and it was pulled down,just where they planned. Then the branches were loaded into the trailer. They then took down the crepe myrtle, branch by branch. They also trimmed some branches off the crepe myrtle that remained. After loading the trailer, they raked up the rest of the leaves and small branches. They were finished before 5:00. I was given the name of someone to grind out the stumps. He arrived today (07/01/13) and was very efficient.

They brought a large team who completed the job within 2.5 hours. They were professional and did a great job. I've had many compliments on my yard.

All the services were completed on a timely manner. The office was easy to work with for the scheduling. I really trusted that the arborist and crew knew what they were doing. Their price was good. There were some that came in lower but I didn't feel comfortable that they had the proper insurance to cover damage to my property. I also did not feel like they were looking out for the best long term outcome. My trees are looking so much better since the pruning and feedings started. I am so happy we didn't have them removed like some other companies suggested. I will definitely use the Texas Tree Team in the future.

After making initial contact by email, everything went like clockwork. I was called to verify work requested and address. I had purchased a Big Deal and they had everything on file. Glen came by to look at my trees and write up a proposal. All paperwork was emailed to me with the next available date. All I had to do was confirm the date. I did not have to take off from work for any of this. I came home the day that the work was scheduled to be done. If I hadn't looked up and saw the fresh cuts I would have questioned if they had even come out. I had to look hard for tree shavings, basically there were none. I doubt if I would have been able to afford the work by a Certified Aborist without the Big Deal discount. Yes there is a substantial difference between the yard guy trimming your trees and Texas Tree Team (the A Team)

Get job, and I will hire again.

I didn't call them again because I knew they're not going to finish the job. They didn't tell me they were leaving either. When they left, they just gone. The work that they did was good, they just didn't do it all.

Excellent service all around, from Lisa who answered the phone, handled the billing etc, to Glen who came out and provided the estimate, to the crew who did the work. Lisa and Glen promptly responded to my email and phone calls. My four big oak trees were already too thin at the top but had excessive sucker / water sprout growth along the main limbs from being over pruned in the past, so the crew removed all that and made them look neat. Glen honored the $250 Big Deal for this work. I also asked the crew to remove a very big root that was going toward the house which might hurt the foundation so they called and a few minutes later a big grinding machine arrived and took care of the job. They also removed a small dead tree stump and a few palm tree fronds in the back yard. I paid an extra $100 for the additional work. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up well so the yard looked spotless after they left. They had all the big and heavy equipment necessary to do the job.

Went very well. Job was professional. The yard was neat as a pin. They cleaned off our roof while they were there.

Did outstanding job pruning and sculpting front yard trees. They were very considerate of my comments, and requests during work, and performed a great job.

The Live Oaks are healthy but overgrown and unshapely. The Tree team guys did an excellent job, made good suggestions and did not leave until we were 100% satisfied. Overall just a great job.

The deal advertised that a certified arborist would come to take care of my trees. I made an appointment and sure enough, a very professional expert came to assess my pruning needs. I had a <6" diameter dead pear tree that needed to be removed. It was supporting and being choked by 10-15 year old vines. The job was to remove the tree and tidy up the vines which we agreed would collapse without the support of the tree. There is a fence/wall nearby where the vines were supposed to have been growing so we agreed that the work would include moving the vines back to the wall and tidying/shaping them. After about 10 minutes of discussion and assessing, the arborist left and sent me a quote. Due to the fact this was a "Big Deal" I actually expected to get $500 worth of service. The quote simply said the work could be done within the $500 limit. An appointment was made for ~two weeks later for the work to be done. When the date came, the crew didn't show up until late, in fact, nearly past the appointment window. When I called the office to check on their whereabouts, I was told they were running late. When they finally showed up, I offered them refreshments as I know what it's like to have your schedule get away from you. I hoped it would have been appreciated and reciprocated with a bit of enthusiasm for the small job ahead. They were obviously tired and in a hurry to be done with the day (I believe I was one of their last appointments of the day.) And to my dismay, there was not a trained arborist amongst them. It really was just five-guys-and-a-chain-saw. They took the tree down in rapid measure and were about to leave when I asked about the finishing work on the vines. Instead of trimming or pruning with any elegance, they simply went to town on the vines with the chain saw. After repeated requests, a hand branch trimmer was brought out and I provided a ladder so the top of the vines could be reached and shaped. Several times, we had to go back over the area to complete the work-- it was clear they simply wanted to be done. In the end, they went out to take the chain saw back to the truck-- I expected them to come and kind of close the work out with a final inspection of the work that had been done and perhaps a thank you for the food. They never came back...... All that said, they did remove the debris and completed the work I had requested (dead tree removal and cutting of the vines,) however, there was no way the actual work that was done was worth $500. Subsequently, I have had 3 other tree pruning services review "before" photos of area where the work was done to get an idea of what it might cost to do the and they all estimated the value of what was done to be between $200 - $250. Admittedly, this is within the range of what I paid however, the deal was to get twice the amount of work for half the money--otherwise, where is the bargain? If not for the deal, I probably would have shopped around more. Lesson learned.

The experience was very easy. Glen came a couple weeks before the service to give me a quote for the various projects I had in mind after purchasing the Big Deal (which saved me $250). He spent a good amount of time discussing what would be the best course of action and I felt like he knew exactly what would work best. When the crew came on June 5, they were professional, quick, and courteous. All the work was done in a couple hours in the morning, and I am very happy with the results.

They had pretty good ratings and did an excellent job. The guy came out when he said he would and knew what he was talking about. They showed up when they were supposed to and took care of the problem. They were knowledgeable and didn't oversell. What they did was about the same as what the other company did, but their price was half as much. I actually plan on using them again.

This company is AWESOME! The arborist came out to survey the work I wanted done and made recommendations. I learned a lot about Texas trees just talking to him as he surveyed the job. The crew who actually did the work were amazing! There were about six of them (not sure - there may have been more, but they got to work so quickly I couldn't count them.) The process took only about 45 minutes. The trees look great and they did a thorough job cleaning up after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend them and plan on using them again when I need to get the trees re-trimmed.

Glen came out to the house and listened to my request. He gave me a quick estimate and followed up with a written quote. Somehow the estimate did not get sent right away. I was just getting ready to call when I got an email explaining what happened with apologies. Once we agreed on price which was about $600 , the work was scheduled about 2 weeks out. The fertilization was done in the morning and trimming in the afternoon by a different crew. All went well. The trees look great. You wouldn't know they had been trimmed without a before picture.

Glenn was great. He came out, provided a fair estimate, and discussed everything I wanted to happen to improve the tree life of my trees. The day came for them to do the trimming service. Glenn showed up early to go through everything with me again and got the crew lined out to perform the work. The tree trimming went great. The problems came with the deep root fertilization. I spoke with Lisa to set up the appointment, and the crew showed up the day and time they promised. During the fertilzation process they punctured my irrigation lines. They did repair one. I noticed a couple of days after that another line had been punctured. I contacted Lisa and she said they would send someone out to repair. We got a call back saying they would be out to repair that next morning. The morning came and went. He did show up later that afternoon and destroyed my yard, the one I just spent $600 to re-sod. I said something to Lisa about the irrigation lines eroding the newly laid soil out in my yard and the amount of sod moved around to find these holes. I got an apology and nothing else. I would probably use them again to do the tree trimming only because of Glenn. I doubt I would recommend or use them myself again for the fertilzation. UPDATE: They did come out last week and repair my yard. Texas Tree Team was fast to respond, once my original review was posted. Thanks again, it is very much appreciated!
