After examining tree, said trimming at this point was not necessary and that existing tree cover was good. He said he could do further pruning if we insisted, but the result would not be optimum. His explanation justifying his decision was detailed and professional. I was impressed by the fact that he placed the health and beauty of the tree above a quick buck.

The service worked out fine. I liked that they were prompt and affordable. The work they did was very good. I spent more than the big deal. I spent a total of about $1,000. They probably came out within a month following the deal purchase.

He gave me a detailed, colored sketch of what they were going to do. They gave me their insurance information just in case an accident had happened. They were friendly, polite, the cleaned up after themselves. I cannot give them enough praise. They were very professional

They performed the service while I was absent from my home. When I returned the work was complete and if the tree hadn't been missing, I wouldn't have known they had been there. I would definitely use this company again.

Sent an online form requesting estimate and received a call the next morning to schedule their arborist to meet with me. I spoke with more than one lady in their office who managed their schedule to work with mine. They were all very helpful. The young man who came--Glen--was professional and knowledgeable. He patiently explained options and costs. We agreed on the type of work to be done and the price. The office called and scheduled the work time and date. The crew was here on time, did the work, cleaned up all the debris , and left after reviewing the work completed with me. The irrigation repair and lawn fertilization was done while I was at work and was completed neatly. The system works correctly now and my yard is beginning to get green. When each part of the work was complete I was called to verify that everything was complete and correct, then they sent me a bill. This was a very nice experience compared to the last time I had tree work done.

A professional team of people showed up & did an outstanding job of trimming the tree. They had what appeared to be 3 teams working at once. One team in the tree, one team on the ground trimming the lower branches & assisting the one in the tree and one team constantly cleaning up & providing an ever watching eye for safety issues. The three parts together provided for a quick, clean and professional job.

Service was scheduled relatively quickly, and company came out to perform work on short notice, since we were concerned about additional limbs falling off tree. They were lowest estimate of three obtained. A couple of large limbs fell on roof of house while being cut off, creating minimal superficial damage and some cracking of support framing in attic. Stump grinding was done with handheld equipment, instead of large riding grinder originally brought to site. This produced grinding below surface but not as thorough as would have been done with other equipment. We think that the price for that subcontractor was higher and they got a different sub to reduce their costs. Trimming done on other trees was clean and professional, but they could possibly have trimmed off some more limbs. Company did work with us on accepting coupon even though we did not mention at first contact interview, and offered to do minor repairs in our attic for damaged framing. In future we would consider them but would weigh carefully price, and other aspects of proposal before making a decision.

After a bit of a rocky start arranging access date and time, all work was performed in a timely and effiencient manner.

Service person was on time... courteous and pleasant. Didn't have a ladder to reach the higher branches on the tree, but pulled out our 8 foot step ladder and that did the trick. Good recommendations from Glenn Genzel and the company did what they said they would do. Purchased as a special Angie's List deal.

It went well from start to finish. We were contacted right away when we requested a quote, their inspector came when he said he would, and with only a minor delay after contacting the inspector we were able to schedule the removal. Their team arrived on time and made quick work of the tree. They were professional and did no harm to any structure or other plants in our back yard. All was as described. We solicited a second quote from a different tree service company and the Texas Tree Team was almost $200 cheaper (nearly 20% less), despite being fully insured, etc. No complaints, good price, great work, highly recommended.

I bought this service as an Angie's Big Deal. I was very impressed with Glen's inspection of my trees; he was gave me practical, objective advice, even declining to do some work that I asked for because he said it was not necessary or in the best interest of that particular tree. His crew showed up promptly, finished the work quickly, and I was very pleased with the look of the trees after they finished. They picked up all of the debris and left the area very clean and tidy. Oddly, when I called Texas Tree Team back to try to set up some additional service that Glen had recommended, I could not get a response regarding the cost of the service I was asking about. I e-mailed and called several times, and even spoke to someone in the office, but I never got an answer back. I would really like to use this company for further work, but it concerns me that I could not get them to give me an estimate. That is why I put a "C" for responsiveness; they were very responsive to the first visit, but not to subsequent contact. I had a great first impression of this company, but was left with questions about their reliability.

The Texas Tree Team arrived per the scheduled appointment, and efficiently executed all items on the bid.. The crew did a good job on the trimming. All debris was cleaned up. No issues with this contractor.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. They came out a little time after I bought the deal because I wanted to be there. I had to cancel it once because I couldn’t be there so then they had to come another time and they were very nice about it. The price was excellent. I have no complaints.

I was very pleased with the service they provided. I didn't expect to get much more than a consultation, but Glenn was great and made suggestions & recommendations even if it meant no additional business for them. I appreciated his honesty and straightforward answers, and it was clear that he was knowledgeable on trees. He was very easy to work with, and I would absolutely recommend them to friends.

I explained my concerns about the health of this tree, and the arborist took considerable time and care to explain the defect in the tree and what to expect from the defect and what might be expected from various treatments. Briefly, he believed that no treatments of the defect would effect the overall life of the tree, that no evidence of insect infestation was evident, so insecticidal treatment was not indicated. He did believe that a general pruning to lift and shape the canopy was indicated, and serial deep root feedings would be helpful for the health of the tree. The office was very responsive with email estimates and appointment times for the provided services. When it became necessary to change the time for the trimming to be done, they were very responsive and a change was quickly made. The team then arrived well within the 2 hour appointment window. The team leader spoke excellent English, and in turn worked well with his team. There were all very careful not to damage gutters and other plants under the tree, and did an excellent job of pruning and cleanup. They were indeed a team, working well together while having a good time as they worked. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and I was quite pleased with their work, They will contact me later at the appropriate time for deep root feeding of the tree.

Glen came out on August 16th to look at the trees. I had purchased a deal ($99 for $200 of tree services). He was friendly and professional. He gave me a verbal quote for both trees and then followed up with a written quote via email. He also sent me a copy of their insurance and a reference list. I contacted the office to schedule the service. I was a little disappointed having to wait until September 12, but I agreed. The crew of 6 men arrived a little early. The foreman, William, spoke with me before starting the work to discuss the scope of the job. The tree in my front yard is large (about 60' high) and two men started climbing it and cutting branches. Another man got on the roof to cut the large branch that was hanging over my bedroom. A fourth man went to the back yard to trim and shape the smaller tree. There were a lot of dead branches on the large tree, from the squirrels, and they got most of them. After they were done, I inspected both trees and pointed out a few dead branches still at the top of the large tree. The crewman took care of it quickly. The crew cleaned up the yard and put the pile of limbs near the street because they didn't have enough room to haul it away. William told me another crew would come in an hour to remove the debris. Another truck came in exactly one hour to dispose of the debris, using a wood chipper. It took them about 15 minutes. All in all, it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Other than a little later start than we expected ,which in retrospect, was probably much better for our neighbors, we were extremely pleased with the work that the crew did In our yard. From start to finish they were professionals. The yard looks cleaner now than when they started as all limbs etc were removed and shredded at once. The person who did the quote was also professional, helpful and good to work with. The work was completed and billed as quoted. We would highly recommend this company.

We had a couple false starts on scheduling the work (once due to a neighbor's car that was parked in the way and we could not get moved, and once due to the team running behind schedule from a job earlier in the day) but on the third attempt they arrived ahead of the scheduled time and got the work done in short order. In addition to completing the agreed work they did a good job of cleaning up the site when they were finished.

they sent an arborist to come out look at my tree trimming project when he arrived he was professional and was wonderful to talk to. we set up an appointment for a few weeks later his team showed up, on time, were friendly and professional

Team arrived on time. Work was performed according to agreement. Team leader described what was going to be done and why. Cleanup was excellent.

Because of rain, I was rescheduled a couple of times, but the workers came on Labor Day to finish the job.The office was excellent about keeping me informed of rescheduling, and provided me letters for my HOA explaining why the work wasn't yet completed.. On the day the work was done, the crew was punctual, professional, and asked me what I wanted done exactly.They did the trimwork as I wanted, and cleaned up, all in about 45 minutes. In spite of scheduling delays, I would highly recommend this service and would use it again!

It took a while for them to respond to request and then several weeks to come out to look at the job and then additional time for a crew to complete the work. The supervisor said they were swamped because of the "big deal" and this is why it took so long. They recommended some work that we did not want to do, which was OK with them. The initial person who came out was professional and helpful in his recommendations. When they did the work the crew arrived at the specified time and it was done well. There was a problem with the billing which reflected lack of communication between the supervisor and office. It took additional amount of my time to get the correct bill, this is why I gave them a B on several areas. We would probably use them again.

Even though it was raining, Glen came out and appraised the job. He explained different options to me and made suggestions. He e-mailed me a thorough quote complete with references. The job was done as instructed in a timely manner. Also, his office staff is very polite and professional. I would definitely use this company again.
