Glen came by to survey the trees and make recommendations about care and trimming. He came back about a week later with his team to do the work. Very professional. I will definitely use this company again.

I had a couple of trees that really needed trimming. A neighbors tree had grown over and settled on my garage roof and I knew it could possibly do damage to the garage roof and shingles. I also had a tree in the front yard that had begun to hang below the acceptable 8-10 feet level. I signed up for a special on Angies List and was promptly contacted by Texas Tree Team. Chris came out and took a look and made recommendations. We setup a time and Russell and the team came out early on a Friday morning and got right on it. They cut the tree branches away from the garage roof and all the way back to the neighbors property line. I won't have to worry about the tree settling back on the garage roof for some time now. They also did a great job on cutting back the tree in the front yard lifting the canopy to about 10-12 feet and cleaning up dead branches and over growth. Russell even helped me out on trimming a cedar tree back form my driveway so I could get my Jeep comfortably back to the garage. Russell was very helpful and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. We'll be doing business again. Thanks guys

One of the arborists gave me estimates on two ways to trim my trees and I chose the more extensive way His estimate was in line with the other estimates I had gotten. The men came yesterday with all the equipment they needed and proceeded to get to work. They were very efficient and worked together well. They trimmed both trees to specifications and then did a thorough clean-up. They were very polite and make sure that I was satisfied.

Very friendly and professional - easy to schedule and prompt. Tree trimming cost $400 for two trees. I rated the service a "B" because they did a good job, but also missed a bunch of branches that needed trimming on one tree. Also I gave price a "B" because it was expensive vs. some other quotes I had gotten. I didn't want to take chances and just went with the provider I thought would do the best job, but I probably could have gone with a cheaper provider.

Let me start by saying that I would recommend this provider. When I started researching providers, I found at least 6 with "A" ratings that were offering tree trimming service at or below the price of Texas Tree Team. The reason I ultimately chose Texas Tree Team, even though the price was slightly higher, was because their advertisement at the time said "tree trimming and stump removal". I had a small tree (about 4 inches in diameter) that I wanted removed and the stump grinded. I could have cut the tree down with a saw in 15 seconds but didn't have the equipment to grind the stump down. When the scheduler called me I made it clear that I wanted the stump removed. When I received the quote from Glen it did not include the stump removal. I emailed him back and told him I wanted the stump removed and had mentioned that to the scheduler. Ultimately, they wanted another $100 to remove the stump. Because I had already paid for the services online and didn't want the hassle of trying to get a refund I decided to move forward and told them not to remove the tree/stump. In the end, I was very pleased with the result. My yard looks amazing. I was expecting to come home and find the driveway and sidewalks littered with leaves from the work that was done, but everything was spotless. They did a terrific job of cleaning up before they left. I am extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend using their services. Their customer service level is very high. The scheduler was very polite and contacted me quickly after I requested the service through Angie's list. Glen's bid was very thorough and he did exactly what he said he would do.

Don't waste your time calling them. I was interested in a tree trimming estimate. Glen came by my house early April '15, and I was impressed by his knowledge - I was looking forward to using Texas Tree Team's services. Glen said he would email me a formal estimate. After a few days had passed without receiving any communication, I called the office and spoke to a receptionist. She was very kind and sympathetic and apologized for no one having contacted me. She said she would let someone know I had called. I waited another week and still nothing. I decided to call back and the receptionist said I should be getting an estimate via email soon - apparently, Glen was busy and he might not be able to get it to me until the weekend or that Monday at the latest. I felt I might be annoying them by following up and asked if I had upset or offended anyone because I was so shocked to not get any sort of response or communication. She assured me I had not and apologized profusely. The weekend passed, Monday had passed and still nothing. I called back one last time. I told the receptionist I was very upset at having wasted so much time trying to get an estimate so I could GIVE them my money for tree services. I have never heard of a company completely ignoring someone who wants to be a customer. She assured me again that I hadn't upset or offended anybody at the company, so I couldn't understand the total lack of communication. I explained I would like to hear from them but had no intention of waiting any longer and would begin the process of finding another company; she said she understood and would tell Glen or somebody else to call me...I never heard back.

They came by, assessed, quoted reasonable offer - advised some technical challenges to get to the stump which, advised treatment plan for wounded live oak... rescheduled to accommodate MY schedule and communicated very well on all matters. I will continue to use them for sure and recommend them as well.

Texas Tree Team is outstanding. Glen Ginzel, the arborist, arrived punctually at the designated appointment time and we talked about the work we wanted done and heard his suggestions. He tendered his written proposal, just as we had discussed, at the price we had discussed, 10 minutes after he left my house. I hired him the next day, as he was the last of my estimators. We had to wait about a week after calling Glen to get an appointment for an review and proposal. We then waited about another week for the work to be done. Everyone was punctual and professional. Glen is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional--extremely easy to work with as was the whole team. Today, William the crew foremen, and his crew of guys showed up 30 min early (yea!) and swarmed my property and trees. Everything was complete in a hour. All debris was hauled away and mulched at the curb. I called the office and paid. It was easy and painless. I would hire Glen and his crew at Texas Tree Team again.

We ended up removing one other tree, a tall pine, 2 inches from roof edge,along with the elm and pine in the back yard.My husband had concerns about damage to the front lawn occurring during the removal as the lawn was soft from rain.It took two short days . Because of the height of the tree in the front yard the supervisor decided to return the next day with a different crew. It was finished in a timely manner my hats of to them because they were dodging storms.The flower bed the tree was in came through unscathed and the lawn looks fine no dents or trompled spots.I will keep them on file I have used 2 others in the past.This guy knows trees.

Called on 3/31/15 to get an estimate on tree injections based on the recommendation of a co-worker. Was told they didn't need me there and could check it out and provide an estimate by 4/4. Realized a week or so later than I never heard back. Called on 4/16 to inquire. The person I spoke to didn't seem to know anything about my appt. Took my number and said someone would call back. Never heard from them.

Glen was fabulous. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, reliable and a great person to work with. I'm so appreciative of the support and advice he provided during my driveway job. Having him on my team gave me great comfort. I will use Glen and Texas Tree Team for any future jobs!

Extremely professional. Best price after several quotes.

We have a 30+ Year old maple that had surface roots we thought might be damaging the tree along with a cut branch that had some decay. Glen took the time to explain in detail what was happening to the tree and assured us the tree was in pretty good shape and we shouldn't be concerned. His knowledge of his trade is evident and we learned so much from him. We have Texas Tree Team in our preferred company listings and will always call them when needed.

It was excellent. They were very nice and professional. They did the job well.

Glen Ginzel arrived promptly for initial visit and provided a clear estimate by email within a few days. We particularly appreciated the fact that gave us two options: our requested pruning a few feet over the garage, and more extensive pruning to raise the canopy more, to help tree grow up and away from the house over time. We took the second option and are glad we did. The whole job was done in a highly professional manner. Cleanup was perfect.

Texas Tree Team came out this past summer to provide an estimate for pruning and tree removal. We had two other companies come out, and the final cost was comparable between them, but the representative from Texas Tree Team seemed far more knowledgeable about the trees and the work required than anyone else with whom I met. He identified each of the trees as we walked around the yard and let me know why he was making the recommendations he did, explaining the expected life span of the species that needed attention and pattern of rot present at the time. I felt very confident that they would do excellent work. We decided to stall on the work for budget reasons and because my 6yr son is very attached to the tree that will eventually need to come down.

Did not cut back branches over street as much as desired--but did a good job; picked up trash fairly well, prompt--gave clear estimate for this work and other work.

The Texas Tree Team arrived right on time and completed the work in about an hour and a half. The work was done exactly as I requested and the clean-up was maticulous. I would recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

Russell and his crew came by early but not to early from the appointment time. He was friendly, respectful and willing to adjust the job slightly upon arrival despite me not doing this ahead of time as I should have. Once he got to work the tree was trimmed back in half an hour and I was pleased with the time. However, I noticed while he was working none of the limbs were secured and he was letting them fall full force from a height of 20 feet. Unsurprisingly my fence was broken in the process. I was not informed of this, but only as they were leaving I was inspecting their work and realized the half of a plank of my fence was broken. I asked Russell about this and he informed me he'd be back later that day to fix it (note the vendor disputes that he said "later that day"). A day later I called Glen who'd given me the quote. Glen was apologetic and had talked to Russell but was told that it would be Monday since it was unrealistic schedule wise to be back the same day. I ultimately allowed this to be viewed as a misunderstanding and wanted to allow for any error on my part. However, it's now a week overdue and I've not heard back, nor has anyone come to fix the fence. I will continue to pursue the issue and will update the review as necessary, but I already believe they have a very serious issue with customer service and handling of problems that something like this could go on over a week. This is probably at most a 2 hour fix counting travel time and it's a minor amount of material, but I'm not happy that I have to keep taking time out of my day to chase this down to resolution. update: Based on the response I've upgraded my ratings accordingly. I will note the reaponse is missing some nuance in that I had in fact waited a week from my initial contact with my rep. However, I will say upon contact with the main office this was indeed fixed very quickly and very well. I will consider Texas Tree.again if for no other reason than they get customer service once a mistake has been made, and everyone makes mistakes.

Texas Tree Team was excellent to work with throughout. They came in with the lowest estimate, all members I dealt with were responsive and professional, and Glen was even able to help guide my neighbor through her concerns around trimming a tree that sits close between our houses. They were also able to adapt to changes in the job bid due to actions of other neighboring properties. The team was on time, and did their work quickly and well. Although my particular job had some drama around it, none of that came from Texas Tree Team. I would recommend them, and work with them again.

They did a great job. A couple of fence boards were minimally damaged and they came and replaced them a few days later. They stand by their work. I'll be using them again.

The company stuck to its estimate, it kept us informed of some unexpected issues during the project, and they kept the yard free of debris. The trees are healthy and in good shape, too.
