He was great. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems. I was very happy because I have not had the best experiences with our previous company. It seemed that we were not tech savvy enough for their solutions. Ivor explained things easily. We have an appointment with him next week to replace our original remote. Our prior company had quoted us a price of over $500 for the remote and set up. Ivor's price was almost half that.

I like that they arrived by scheduled time. They didn't charge me more when he realized I had 4 speakers vs 2 for him to hang for my surround sound. Even made a suggestion that would allow a better appearance and my husband was able to mount corner shelf as suggested. Work done looks near and no holes were placed in my walls. My back porch gazebo now illuminates the back yard since we installed the LED lighting. It looks amazing. The owner was very nice, informative and reasonably priced. They left no mess to clean up, and spent almost two hours installing and talking with us on what we can use that is more cost and energy efficient with the same, if not better quality of high definition and more upgrades features. We are definitely using Texas Light & Sound again for future upgrades and/or installation.

These days my experience with some contractors is not always positive. Mr. Segall returned my call within an hour of my leaving a message on his voicemail. He was very polite and spoke to me in terms where I could understand his services and what he proposed. I asked him to please email me an estimated cost for what he would do at my house. He and his assistant arrived about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled, WOW! They did all of the work in a few hours and his bill was $37.00 less than what he had quoted me. That has never happened to me before. I can say that this was a very professional job and I will be using his service again as my wife wants to have security cameras installed. I have used Angie's list before and this positive experience once again reassures me why your contractor's are the best. Dusty Lee Houston Texas

They showed up and had it all fixed in about 2hrs all works well!!!!

Ivor and team spent the day at our home installing everything; they were very professional and courteous and showed no hesitation about anything we asked them to do (even adjusted our 75" TV twice!). Moreover, he didn't try to up-sell me on anything; in fact, he recommended keeping much of our existing equipment and advised against expensive options that he felt weren't worth it. Very reasonably priced compared many other AV specialists.
