We received a response to our request on the same day and they came out the following day to measure. After the initial measurement and commitment to order, Sunlite Exteriors took it a step further to have a second employee re-measure the windows to double check the measurements and ensure they were correct prior to placing the order. We had 4 companies provide estimates for our window replacements including big box stores like Lowe's and a really overpriced, in home / hard sell company. Sunlite Exteriors came in a slight bit higher than Lowe's in price, but made up for it in volumes with their customer service and quality of installation. Quality installation and longevity was important to us since we plan to stay in our home. They installed the windows on the original date that was provided and completed the job in 1 day's time (we had 9 windows to replace total). We were very happy with their responsiveness along with the quality of their work and have not only recommended them to others in the neighborhood, but are planning to have them to complete additional exterior work. Note that Sunlite Exteriors indicated they only do exterior (carpentry, roofing, gutters, siding, exterior painting, etc.) and no interior work. I would always encourage people to read the reviews (and not from the vendor's websites, but independent reviews of any installer before deciding on your choice. I'm not suggesting that you'll always have a bad experience with the lowest bidders, but do suggest that everyone also consider the benefits of supporting local businesses where typically $0.85 of every dollar stays in our local Houston economy.

We could not be happier. Bob was great to work with. The crew did a great job for my mother. They delivered as promised and when they promised.

Bob (owner) was always very responsive & honest with me, went above & beyond with this roof replacement, which is why I proceeded to get the gutters done as well (another great price, excellent installation!) And his crew was just terrific - extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly & considerate about my property. Maria Mejia arrived on time to our Saturday meeting. She introduced herself and promptly started measuring our windows. We chatted afterwards and she stated they would email me window replacement quotes. No hard selling occurred. She wasn't pushy at all and I extremely appreciated that point. They provided three different quotes today, Thursday, September 10th as we discussed during our meeting. I haven't hired them yet because I have several meetings tomorrow morning. Overall, they were very professional.

I'm waiting to receive my quote as well as a couple of others but I have a good feeling so far. God willing the pricing will be within budget and we'll be able to move forward on this project. Grateful in NW Houston!

Contacted company requesting assessment of repairs needed and estimate. Indicated they were inundated with projects related to recent bad weather. Asked that we call back in a few weeks. Called back 3 weeks later after prolonged improved weather with same request of assessment of repairs needed and estimate. Was told to wait a few more weeks and have never heard back.

Bob Camp of Sunlite Exteriors was very efficient and professional from my very first contact with him. He presented me with an assessment of what the work would involve and what the cost would be to complete the work that I wanted done. This was all done very quickly and he answered all the questions that I had regarding how the work would be carried out. The work was done in a timely fashion and I couldn't be more pleased. The work crew did an excellent job and I am very impressed. I just want to pull up a lawn chair and take in the view!

As usual Bob Camp was quick to respond to our inquiry We called him yesterday for an estimate of the work to be done. Today at noon a member of his crew came by to take measurements and take pictures. and we had the estimate a couple of hours later. There is no doubt that we will have Sunlite Exteriors do the work.

I chose Sunlite Exteriors to come out and replace all windows and siding on a 38 year-old house. Our past two houses were built brand new so with this house being our first fixer-upper and on a tight budget, I would be lying if I said we were completely calm through the remodelling process. The siding and windows were the last major to-do's, and we were tired from some of the "games" due to lack of communication. That said, with Bob Camp, I didn't have that communication problem. He always stayed in the loop with our entire remodeling so that he knew when it was good to get started and he did a great job at managing our expectations and helping us make informed decisions. He stayed engaged the whole way thru project and was always a phone call or text away. As for craftsmanship and professionalism, Lalo and his crew were first-class. They worked efficiently and cleanly - always keeping things closed up and out of the way at the end of each day. They were courteous and kept in touch with us - even showed me some surprises as the old siding was removed(natural for an almost 40 year-old house). Lalo let us know immediately about these, offered suggestions, and even fixed the problems. This whole operation is top-notch. The windows look amazing and completely transformed the look and feel of the house. The siding installation, sealing, and painting was all done the right way with no shortcuts taken. I will definitely recommend their services in the future.

We used Sunlite Exteriors for an earlier project and decided to use them again to replace our roof last week. Once again, the service did not disappoint. Bob came through with a quote the same day I contacted him. The quote was thorough and competitive, with a good warranty. Although the project team for the roofing work was different than our first window project, they were promptly to work each day, worked hard all day, were careful, quick and cleaned up after the job. The foreman stayed at the job site both days to ensure work was going according to plan. We would definitely use Sunlite Exteriors again and recommend them.

We researched several companies before choosing Sunlite Exteriors to give us a quote. Bob Camp quoted the project a full year before we were able to move ahead with it. When we contacted him again, he responded right away and was able to start the job within the week. We found his cost very competitive and he was even able to honor the cost he had quoted a year earlier for our project. Throughout the project, he was very responsive. He came the first day to kick the project off and introduce his work team, as well as make sure they understood our project scope and expectations. He then came to our home several times to check on the project. His team was professional, capable, prompt and neat. They made sure to put up a barrier to keep as much dust out of the house as possible, and cleaned up every day before they left the job. One thing that really stood out and earned my appreciation was how polite and friendly his team was. They never cursed or complained on the job and they humored my very talkative and curious 5 year old. They also pointed out any potential issues so that we could work through them before they became a real problem. We were so happy with our experience that we used the company six months later to replace our roof, as well.

I called Bob Camp on Wednesday to come by my house for a quote on paint at 3 p.m. on Friday and gave him the home address. He asked me to send him an email to sunlitebob@yahoo.com with my contact information. I did so that evening, and showed up at the agreed time on Friday (leaving work quite inconveniently) and waited twenty minutes. During that time, I called him at his number that I had used previously, and did not hear back. He called on Monday evening at 8 p.m. saying he had just received my voicemail, and apologized (which I do appreciate). He said he never received my email, even though I sent it to sunlitebob@yahoo.com (which, if you google it, shows up connected with his name). He also said he had not taken down my number and so could not contact me. Bottom line is, when a client calls, I would expect a business to get the information right during the initial call. We had talked about the time and address (which happened to be right near his business), so really an email should have been unnecessary. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed by the no-show and no contact for over 72 hours.

The contract was set in place and the two days later [as agreed] the workmen showed and started the job. It took them three days to do the job. They even worked on Saturday and finished . The results are very good, the paint matches perfectly and the yard was left in better shape than when they started. They will be back when I do the other half.

The project went very well. Bob is very responsive and works hard to meet the deadline and budget while maintaining a high level of quality. Lalo is his main man on the ground and he is very meticulous. All of our interactions with Bob and his crew were very positive and the final product exceeded our expectations.

The roofers were professional and efficient. We used Sunlight Exteriors in the past to remove, replace and paint our cedar siding on the second story of our house. We have found Bob Camp, the owner, to be knowledgeable, dependable and professional and why we called him for our roofing needs.

Bob and his team did an excellent job of taking my vision to remodel my home's exterior and making it happen. I have a 1968 brick ranch that I wanted to make more contemporary. Bob understood exactly what I was looking for and offered suggestions as to the best way to achieve this. He was responsive, provided daily updates, and the price was very reasonable. His team worked quickly and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. I have received many compliments from friends and neighbors, and am thrilled with the results.

It went very well. They were punctual, on time. They were always very good at communicating. Their price was very fair. They were very clean, everything.

I did not get any work done with them. The experience was pretty good. I couldn’t say for sure that I would use them in the future.

I received a very prompt call back from Bob, and he took my information over the phone. Within a few days, he came out to my house to measure my windows. Within 24 hours of his visit, he prepared two quotes (for two different Simonton product lines). I reviewed the quotes, and I chose the single hung windows for my installation. With regards to the French door, I asked Bob if he recommended Simonton as well. He informed me that while well made, Simonton doors were very expensive compared to other brands. He suggested that I find a door of my choosing and have his crew install it (for a reasonable fee). I ended up purchasing a French door from Lowe's. After I signed the contract, Bob let me know that my job was relatively small compared to some that we was working on (a one day job), and that he would work me in between his larger jobs. I agreed, and let him know that I would need at least 24 hours warning to make work arrangements, as I needed to be home for the install. Bob called me two days ahead of time and let me know that my install date would be 4/17/2014, plenty of time to make arrangements. The installation crew showed up around 8AM. The forecast called for rain in the AM, so they proceeded to unload all the windows and hang tarps over the windows they they would be replacing first (master bedroom). They had the tarp in place before it started to rain, and even though it was raining while they replaced that window, no rain got inside the house. They were very careful not to dirty the inside of the house, and vacuumed every bit of mess that they made on the inside. They were very careful not to leave broken glass in the yard. I have three dogs that I let out back, and I did not want them to get cut. They were very careful not to damage the siding or drywall when removing the old windows, but some did get slightly damaged (which they repaired before leaving). They put in the new windows, secured them with screws, and applied caulk inside and outside to seal the windows. Overall, they did an A+ job. One of the windows was not ordered correctly, and they are coming out soon to do that window + one additional window that we did not do the first time. Bob is very professional, thorough, and is a great contractor. He is honest, does not make promises that he cannot deliver, and provides a quality service. I would definitely recommend them to others.

It went really well, I have nothing but good things to say about Bob and Sunlight Exteriors. They are priced very competatively and do excellent work. Originally I was going to replace the patio doors with more patio doors but the door supplier had major delivery problems and so Bob sourced French doors that were much more expensive but gave them to me at his cost! We love the doors and will definitely use Sunlight Exteriors again.

I was pleased with them coming out but we ended up selling the house before we did the work. We got a flyer in the mail so we had them come out to give a quote.

Bob showed up on time for the initial contact and inspection. He sent us a quote the next morning. The price was fair and we asked him to order the windows. Two weeks later the windows were in and they were ready to install them. Bob estimated that the work would take one day and in actuality it took two and a half days. One day was taken repairing the siding. The crew performed superbly and professionally. The price to repair the siding was fair considering what needed to be done. We are very happy with our new windows.

The crew was on time, efficient and a pleasure to see such great teamwork!!! Even though they had to deal with weather issues they did not waste time. They seemed to know when the rain was going to stop and would get out and get prepared to work so that the minute it stopped they were back in business. They were organized with the window installation and never left us exposed to the weather. This organization runs like a well oiled machine, we really felt that we got a lot more for our money.
