Moved living room furniture to upstairs family room & brought upstairs furniture down.

While all companies I called had a two hour minimum, Student Movers charged me at least $100.00 less than the other 3 moving companies I called. They were punctual, professional, and friendly.

These guys were very efficient for a good price, $270 for a two hour move ($90 trip charge, plus $90/hr). They didn't waste a minute and didn't damage a thing, even my 100 year old rocking chair emerged unscathed.

They were supposed to arrive between 8-9 which ended up being at around 11:30am. When I called to ask where the movers were, they man told me they had made a mistake and that they would be there between 10-10:30 which ended up at 11:30. The movers were nice but spent a great deal of time talking instead of moving.

Everything was fine. They showed up on time, they were very careful to ensure that they didn't damage anything. It was a very heavy TV, so they were extremely careful. They did it very quickly.

I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED!!! THEY WERE VERY PROMPT, EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND FAIRLY PRICED. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!!!

Excellent experience. Their website enabled me to request a quote, which I received promptly. Tim called the next day to follow up, but I still had two other companies that I was considering. Student Movers are insured, bonded, and competitive on their pricing, plus Tim's follow-up signaled that the company wanted my business, even though it was going to be a small job. So, I selected them. Victor and Guillermo arrived on time and worked efficiently yet carefully. They were very careful not to damage any of the furniture. They wrapped the glass insets from the tables; nothing was broken. They unloaded everything and arranged it for storage in my garage in such a way as to be stable and compact. I highly recommend them, and I will use them again in the future.

Arrived on time. Reviewed that we need a couple of furniture wrapped w/ blanket (we provided) + approximately 50 boxes and some items moved around within the house. Also needed some items (storage tubs and boxes) moved from garage attic to truck. Handled all with care. Followed me to the storage facility. Unloaded truck and combined items from another smaller storgae unit to the "new, larger" unit. Returned to my home with a few items from strage we needed back. Two (2) guys in less than 3 hours and a professional job at a reasonable price.

We had used this company before to move and were very pleased, so we called them this time as well. They called to say they would be about 30 minutes late. We waited. I finally called after about an hour and a manager told me the people who had been assigned the job were taking longer than expected due to the fact that the people they were moving before us had failed to tell them they had multiple stops and a whole storage building to do in addition to a house. I said I understood, and asked how long it would take. I was told about an extra hour. We were supposed to start moving at around 9 am. At around 7 pm, they called and said the original guys were still tending to the previous customer and they were sending another team. When the guys showed up, they were dressed in rather formal clothes for moving, and one of them didn't seem to know what he was doing. The other guy eventually explained that it was his day off and they had called him to do this job. He was at a family function and asked his cousin if he wanted to make some money since the guy he usually worked with was unavailable. So, they came in their dress clothes, straight from the family function to move us. The cousin did his very best and you could tell he was exhausted, but he never sat down, kept smiling, and pushed on through. The guy who actually worked for the company took up the slack his cousin couldn't handle, and even crammed our stuff very efficiently into a smaller truck than what he needed since the guys assigned to our job in the first place had the big truck. I don't blame the movers at all, They did what they could, and did it cheerfully and graciously. They were very careful with our stuff and did the best they could. I understand the first team could not help that they were held up by the previous customer, but I think there was a lack of communication that could have been avoided. I think the company could have found someone...a team, not someone and their cousin on the guy's day off....to take our job and get things handled more efficiently. I think management could have kept in touch with me and I should not have had to call to find out why they weren't there. All in all, the movers themselves did an excellent job, while the office staff dropped the ball. We waited a full day for these guys and were not kept up to date. I had to keep calling them. Other than that, I would recommend them. I would use them again, for sure. They hire very conscientious and hard workers. I don't think we should have had to wait all day.

Overall it was great my new apt is older and tougher to get to but these guys were great! Three guys had my old apt clear in just over an hour and the new one in two and a half because of closed roads and new apt is tougher to move into. And they took the time and care to put things together and help me arrange everything.

Our situation was a bit out of the ordinary and I called them for assistance. Weston was extremely courteous and suggested some alternatives. I decided to go with them and was in the process of scheduling a future date when he asked if I would like to have the furniture moved today. This was perfect for me, as I was working from home on that date and it prevented me from taking time off on a later date or having to reschedule my calendar. The guys came and they were very polite and careful in moving the heavy furniture from the 2nd floor out of the house. I was skeptic of this group before, but I will certainly consider them for the next move or recommend them to a friend that might be moving.

I had a very good experience with them. They were very careful with my furniture and they did a very good job. I was pleased. Their pricing was reasonable. I would consider hiring them again in the future if I needed to.

They were really great. They were on time. They took things apart and put them back together at the new house. They were quick and very efficient.

couldn't have asked for a better group of movers. They were very quick, took care of my stuff, and made sure how to let me know how everything would work before getting started. They arrived early and began moving everything onto the truck. They didn't waste any time. I would definitely hire these guys again to complete my move.

We used them. We moved within the same neighborhood and it was interstate. The guy was very nice, but, basically had to run 2 trips. If he would have ran a bigger truck, we could have made one trip only. They didn't discuss that when I made the appointment. It was raining. I give them high ratings and would use them again in the future.

I compared prices before I called anyone. They were able to price match me. They moved me fairly quickly. I recently moved out of the storage unit and I noticed some of my stuff wasn’t as well taken care of as I had hoped but nothing was damaged. I would use them again.

I called Student Movers and a few other companies for quotes. Student Movers was the most responsive and offered the best price. They were very helpful each time I called with questions and communicated the moving schedule clearly to me. They were even flexible in swinging by a furniture store to pick up some furtinure I had purchased on the way to the new location. I had a team of two arrive and they worked quickly. The crew was friendly and careful with my things; everything made it to my new house in the same condition it left. I was very satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend them to friends who are moving in the future. I received great service, especially considering the price!

I called on Wednesday to originally arrange the move on Friday. Due to complications with my new apartment, I was not able to move in on Friday and called that morning to postpone until Monday. They were more than willing to postpone and when i called on Monday to postpone indefinitely they did not have any problems again. I was finally able to call them Tuesday morning and they were able to arrange the move for that same evening. The two men were on time and were efficient in helping to finish packing all of the last minute items in my apartment and then moved all of my stuff into their truck. They followed me to my new place and quickly unpacked everything and carefully set it all up exactly as I wanted it. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company and will absolutely use them again if I need to ever move locally again however hope not to need to anytime soon.

The two guys showed up on time, kindly left their shoes on the porch doormat so the floors wouldn't get wet, and went right to work. I had the job organized to go as fast and easily as possible, and they had some good ideas to keep it organized. They never stopped moving, and even helped me neatly apply the felt strips I'd pre-cut to the bookcase base. They got 2 hours of work done in less than 1 1/2 hours, but we couldn't have done it without them. The piano dropped with a small twang when we were getting cups under the wheels, but I don't think it hurt it. This is the 2nd time we've used Student Movers. We'd certainly use them again, and recommend them to anyone who needs intelligent, clean extra muscle to move things.

The men who arrived promptly moved all the required furniture quickly and address any and all concerns we had. I would use them again, it was easy to schedule and the price was good.

Company was very responsive when we had to change dates three times as project extended. Worked very hard, very rapidly, with good-natured attitude and professionalism. An excellent service for our small moving job - saved our backs!

Movers were careful and willing to move everything I asked (hunting trophies, very heavy furniture). I had agreed to pay "cash only", but later regretted it because I believe it is inappropriate for a professional business. I was quoted a price for an hour, with a minimum travel charge, & additional per minute charges over the hour.

They were on time and got all the work done on time. They were great with everything! They had a decent price and didn't break any of our items. We would use them again in the future.
