Stonecraft Builders LLC created a patio and a basic outdoor kitchen in my space. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and created a beautiful addition to my patio home. I can sit out on my patio with family and friends and make memories for years to come. They did an awesome job.

Great experience. I interviewed 10 companies, and they responded quickly, and worked within the time allotted. I would highly recommend and use them again.

It went smooth but after about a week a crack showed up in one of the corners and it keeps creeping.

Their price was too high for me so I did not go with them. They were good, the price was just high.

RETURNED THE FOLLOWING DAY TO CLEAN UP EVERYTHING. THEY ARE GREAT.

The brick paved patio was completed in a very timely manner. Very pleased by the professionalism of the installers.

Painful in the beginning. But as the job progressed during the latter phase, I could sense that Stonecraft was just as interested in doing a really good job as I was. Thanks to Crystal and Federico, our concerns were promptly and satisfactorily addressed. We are very pleased with the results. See attached pictures.

(I had written a previous review prior to the completion [or start of construction] of our patio cover. I had that review removed to give a more accurate and updated review.) Since the first review, Stonecraft Builders took our concerns into consideration, and became a lot more responsive and informative of the status of our patio cover; which was our biggest concern in my first review. Due to this positive change, I have updated my grade on their "Responsiveness" compared to my previous review. Once work began on the patio cover, it went quickly and smoothly. Any "hiccups" that were encountered after construction began were not the fault of Stonecraft Builders, but rather the city of Houston (i.e. inspectors showing up at the wrong day/time). Workers even came on Saturday and Sunday to complete the work, and this was after it was "ok-ed" by us that they do work on the weekend. We appreciated that. Quality of the work is fantastic. It was exactly what my husband and I were wanting, discussed with Stonecraft Builders, and had imagined. The price was also the best quote we had seen. We appreciated how payments were handled, such as not paying all up front or even the majority up front, and having a written contract in hand on day one gives you peace of mind. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome. We've already spent an evening lounging under our new patio cover, and truly enjoyed its functionality and aesthetics. Based off the quality, price, and improved communication after we expressed our concerns; my husband and I would hire Stonecraft Builders again.

It was great. We worked with the owner, the foreman and the administrative assistant. The guys who came everyday were professional and straight forward. They also left the building site clean at the end f each day. Workmanship is great. It was the second time we used them. The first project was building a sun room. We were impressed with how they went around it, and they followed through on everything the said. No hidden costs or any unforeseen issues.

The contractor installed pavers per our agreement over the patio and proceeded to add the addition we wanted for the patio table and chairs. All was completed in one afternoon. The workers were neat and picked-up all debris from the installation.

Our initial contact with this company started off on somewhat sour note while dealing with a sales representative of Stonecraft. However, the owner, Federico stepped in and smoothed things out and we were again confident that we chose the right company for the job. Stonecraft submitted all the appropriate paperwork to our HOA for approval and the project was approved without issue. We experienced several small explainable delays here and there; however, the work was overall performed in a timely satisfactory manner. The end result was a beautiful patio cover. We would recommend Stonecraft to anyone looking for good quality workmanship. We definitely plan to use Stonecraft again in the future.

When the contractor came, he only had photos of the choices. It would have been better to have seen an actual sample of the stone. The owner was not clear as to when the job would commence. He was not good at communicating with us. Workers were scheduled and they did not show up. We had to call to find out why. The finished product is excellent.

The works showed up on time and did a very thorough job of asking me what I wanted. They were patient with me while I passed some ideas by them. Once the final design was complete, they did a very good job of laying the patio extension and cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely use them again.

I called this company because we let go our other contractor. I scheduled a appointment to meet them for the first time on a Saturday for a kitchen remodel as well as other make ready services. They did not show up to the appointment nor did they call. I called and left a message with no return call. I waited u too Monday and called and talked with whoever answered the phone. I told them the contractor didn't show up and she would find out who was going out and call me back. I never heard anything else back. As a property management company this is vital to our operation and will not be recommending not using this company ever

Had appointment at 10am today for 2 bids. No one showed up or called. At 10:45 I called office and she was sorry about it and was going to check on it. Received call back and she stated they could not contact whoever was coming out. I stated I already took the day off to get this bid so can someone else come out. She said she would check on it and call me back. No one ever called me back. Customer should not have to be this proactive and common courtesy goes a long way.

From our initial contact I had high expectations from this contractor. The services were offered as one of Angie's Deals, and they were very quick to respond and set up the initial appointment. There was about a 2-3 month delay in starting the work due to upcoming holidays, which I understood from the outset. They even got in touch with me a couple of times during that period to let me know I hadn't been forgotten and they would get to me as soon as possible. I was impressed, but unfortunately the work and performance left much to be desired. Federico said it would be approximately 3 weeks to do the job, and though I expected 4 or 5, it actually took about 10 weeks. After the job had commenced, there was one entire week when no one showed up. Most of the tile work had been done, but when the shower door provider showed up to install the door he had to be sent away because the grouting wasn't done. I asked Federico to let me know if workers would not be showing up on a particular day or if they would be late coming so I wouldn't be sitting around waiting for them, and for a while that worked, but only for a while. These were frustrations that I encountered throughout the process, and unfortunately they were not offset by the end product. I had cabinets built and painted and the paint looked like a primary coat. I complained about that and Federico sent out a new crew to finish the job, and they were worse than the first ones. They didn't even bother to use painter's tape resulting in really sloppy work and paint splattered on windows and doors. The wallpaper doesn't match in two places, and one panel wasn't cut straight and put on the wall with a gap showing. The Angie's Deal covered certain basic work and I thought it seemed to be a good deal. I told Federico that I expected to upgrade a number of things and understood I would pay more than just the cost of the deal. I feel he thought I was on a tight budget. Even so, the work was not professional, and regardless of the budget, it was not quality work. Federico was polite and a nice person, but as a contractor, he didn't seem to be on top of things. He dropped by once a week to see how things were going, but his workers were not skilled. The old bathroom was outdated and not functional, and it is definitely an improvement over that, but it should have been a better experience. I hate to say anything negative, but I would not recommend Stonecraft to anyone. .

We were very cautious at the beginning because we a did not know where to start. I looked at AngiesList and other home improvement websites. I found the HomeAdvisors & the Home Depot websites useless. Many of their folks did not call back nor did they seem qualified to handled the job. We did get several bids, but Chad and Stonecraft were the only ones that really seemed to want the work. We got off to a slow start in February, due mostly to a lot of rain. Chad Chafin along with Frederico (his boss) kept the job moving along at a good pace. Even thought we had a few bumps along the way, we are overall very pleased with the performance and outcome of the project.

I sent an email describing our project and requesting an appointment for an estimate. I received a call from Crystal right away. I appreciated her prompt reply because we needed to get the ball rolling! Larry came out , discussed our ideas for the addition, and within a few days had our estimate. The architect drew up the plans and construction started soon after. Stonecraft did a great job and the crews who worked with us were extremely nice. They made it as easy as possible to have construction going on in your home --- and that's saying a lot! . Ali was gracious and accommodating, creating a pleasant experience for us from the beginning to the end of the project. The addition is lovely and now a true apartment. We could not be happier!

They were great. They contacted me promptly to setup a consultation. They came out within the week and took measurements. We wanted a little more area covered by the pavers. They quickly got us back an estimate for the additional work. Once we agreed they were quick to get us on their schedule. Super happy with the quality of the work. Finished everything in a day.

They provided all required blueprints and plans, pulled all required permits from HOA as well as City of Houston and completed the construction of a large carport cover that extended from an existing garage including incorporating the new roof over the existing roof and breezeway and was designed to look like it was part of the original house and garage.

It went great. They provided the drawings I needed, and I have since started to construction process and the builders are using the blueprints drawn up by Stonecraft Builders.

The job went very well. Federico was incredibly nice. He handled everything very well, anytime I had a concern he responded promptly. We love our patio. Everyone who visits comments on how nice it is. I would definitely choose them again.

The job went very well. Contractor's Subs were courteous, knowledgeable, and hard-working and required little or no supervision. Contractor's management was always easy to reach and responsive to any of our questions/ comments.
