Excellent, thorough and quick service as well as good communication. They carefully explained the process, costs and were quite easy to work with.

I dealt with the owner, John Giffen, who was wonderful to work with. The roofing crew came on time and cleaned my yard so throughly that unless I looked at the roof, I couldn't tell they had been there! The new roof looks wonderful.

Nice color choices, and I really appreciated the salesman honestly giving his opinion about the way the roof will look after it's applied. (Too dark, stains real easy, weather resistant) If you aren't a roofer you want that information. Everyone was very attentive and the workmen were fun to be around. After the job was finished they used a metal detector to make sure they had picked up all the nails. And I couldn't believe it....but we sold that house last year, and they made good on the warranty to correct a few lifted shingles. Amazing that they didn't try to get out of repair. State Roofing came the VERY NEXT DAY. I love this company. Just called them again. Our new location has a roof problem. They are coming. The receptionist remembered my name and kept repeating it throughout our conversation. Good customer service.

I noticed some damage and we experienced some leaks. State examined thee roof, identified some hail damage. They worked closely with our insurance carrier. They came on.time, finished promptly and left the property in excellent condition. They did break a flood light in the lawn area but promptly replaced it. And a few months later, we noticed a small leak at one edge. They returned and replaced or added some flashing which seems to have corrected the problem. Overall, very satisfied. Excellent service and very professional

We were very pleased with the job quality and impressed by the level of professionalism of the sales rep and job foreman. Crews were eager to please and made sure we were happy with their work. After job clean-up was thourogh - no nails left on driveway or insulation in house. No follow-up visits required as the job was done right the first time. We bid te job to two other companies and State Roofing beat them all.

The overall experience across the entire staff was excellent. Chuck (sales) worked extensively with us to map everything out and pointed out extra areas of concern that other bidders had not. Once the insurance inspector came to estimate they were right in sync with each other on tasks to be done. The work crew was amazing and finished it all in one day. Then Allison (billing) went above and beyond with my difficult mortgage company to get everything pushed through so we could pay them properly for a job well done. During the work day, a colleague who has extensive home renovation and Habitat for Humanity experience pulled me aside and wondered if I realized just how good and thorough and high-quality a job I was getting as opposed to others working in the area. He pointed out the extra care taken to prevent water damage and channel it away from the house, along with extra protection against squirrel's chewing. Glad we don't have to do this again for awhile, but if we did they would get our first call.

I had my entire roof removed and replaced because it was old and starting to leak. This included a small flat roof. My roof is very steep and has lots of valley, cuts, peaks and is just very difficult roof. The crews showed up early in the morning and worked all day. Because of the extreme heat they did a great job of working when the heat was almost bearable and we smart enough to rest during the peak times. The total time for the work was 4 days. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the cleanliness of the work and the care shown to my house and the care shown to the workers. Chuck is very professional and all the crew leaders were helpful and professional. Daniella in the office was very helpful and on top of the project the entire time. I definitely would use them again and recommend them to anyone who is considering extensive roof repair and replacement.

Excellent. Job was a little tricky because we were replacing only the west facing sides.

I was glad with the new roof. The cost of the roof was covered in our insurance. It went fine. I have a flat roof on the back of my house and metal roofing, so they came and re-roofed that even though it wasn't part of the job because of a leak. I felt the price charged to the claim money was a fair price. The roof is fine, there are no problems. I would use them again.

The office contact (Danielle) was very helpful, and the estimate/salesman (Anthony Bray) was excellent. The materials were delivered with care in placement, 2 days before the job started. The crew arrived early and started to work promptly and it was about 6 hours before they took a break. The first layer of shingles came off easier and were tossed into a trailer set at the roof's edge in our driveway. The second layer of wood shake shingles however, was a bigger, messier job. Tarps were put over shrubs and landscaping around the house, where the workers threw off the shingles. As the roof was reaching completion, some of the crew circled the house and gathered the shingles. One trip was made with these shingles, but they had to leave the trailer overnight at our house for the last of the cleanup. During the shingle removing, two workers put their foot/leg through the ceiling of the garage. No injury to them. Later the supervisor and one craftsman cut some new sheetrock and repaired the hole. The next day when I went up into my attic I discovered many many shingles and shingle shavings throughout. It will be quite a cleanup job. I was somewhat disappointed that I had not been warned about the landscaping damage, but I guess it was hard to avoid. One area of my (very newly installed) rain gutter was mashed. Overall, I have a wonderful new roof.

Work was completed on time and as proposed. State Roofing worked with my insurance company to file a hail damage claim.

Rain delayed project, and to return to replace one vent that was installed in an incorrect location.
