Spectrum Overhead Door

My garage door sensors weren't working properly. Corey suggested several options: 1) gently wipe each of the sensors off with a cloth; 2) don't use a broom on them (this may get the sensors out of line); and 3) make sure the sensors are directed at each other that the green and amber lights are on. I did what he (Corey) recommended and my garage door started working perfectly. I didn't need them to come out, therefore, they, Spectrum Overhead Door saved me money. Before spending money, call Corey and let him give you alternatives.

They were incredibly quick! We called in the broken garage door at about 0830 and they had it replaced by 1400. New door is insulated and much better quality. They replaced track and everything with a 3 year warranty. It doesn’t get any better. They left everything clean and tidy.

Spectrum was called for replacing the braces. Shortly there was a problem with the repair. Facing evasive replies, asked for the repair person to come by and meet with me. The owner refused the request.

Cody texted me the morning of the appointment to let me know the time line of his arrival. He was very professional upon arrival; he evaluated numerous problems my doors. Called in the morning to request service. Service rep (Kody) arrived several hours later ahead of time previously agreed upon, which was not a problem as he called ahead to make sure I was available. Diagnosed the problem quickly and recommended replacement rollers. Also performed a tune-up of opener and door and was done in 45 minutes.

When I made the appointment, the person on the phone told me that the 12 year old brand that we had was difficult to repair, and hard to get parts. We had experienced those problems with another repair company in the past, so we knew that was true. The tech Efraim arrived on time, was very professional, courteous, and seemed knowledgeable. He was not able to repair the old opener, and had one each of two brands on his truck for us to choose, if we wanted to replace it. We chose Liftmaster, which he installed in about an hour, including new sensors, replacing some rollers, some track adjustments, and even setting up the HomeLinks in both our vehicles to work with the new brand. We liked it so well, we decided to go ahead and replace the other one too, if the same tech could do it the same day. He didn't have another one on the truck, but said he could come back with another later in the day. Efraim came back, earlier than expected, and repeated everything on the second door. His boss also gave us a discount on the second unit. Sure we paid more in total than we expected, but we feel like we got good value for the price, especially considering the level of service received. Totally unexpected for him to set up the HomeLinks, never heard of any other garage door opener going that far with customer service!

Great. 2 man team was here within 45 minutes of me reaching out to the office. A little over 1 hour and the new spring was on and the door was working like it should. I had them replace the rollers as well at the same time. They cleaned and wiped down the rails and lubricated the new parts. I'm very pleased.

Wish all contractors were this punctual, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable! We've used them twice, once for new torsion springs, then asked them back to install a new opener. Wouldn't use anyone else from now on.
