Spectrum Overhead Door

I called Spectrum and the gentleman who assisted me was very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my problem, as well as explaining the type of openers they offered and the features of each. There was no tacky attempt to upsell- but rather, helped determine the right opener for my needs. The pricing was very competitive on the opener I chose- I did my research. The technician who arrived to install the opener and repair the door was superb, and the job was done quickly and professionally. I have used Spectrum for other minor repairs as well, and this is the only company I will call for garage door needs.

This company was immediately responsive and scheduled a service call for the following morning. Representative (Isaac) showed up on time, reviewed and diagnosed the problem immediately. He gave me the price and what it included, we authorized the work. He completed the repair (replaced the motor with a heavier duty one), lubricated all rollers and inspected the door for any problems. The price was exactly as stated. Isaac returned the next day since I was experiencing a problem, he found the problem (a result of my own lack of knowledge) and it is now corrected. I will definitely use this company again for any garage door issues.

It went great! They communicated very quickly and the work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. I purchased the item/coupon for the door they had on Angie's List on Wednesday night, the company called to schedule the install early on Thursday and the install was completed that same afternoon. The installers were prompt and called when they were on the way so I could leave work and be home prior to them arriving. They promptly got to work removing the old door, track, and garage door opener. They then installed the new door and all hardware including my upgraded garage door opener which I can now control via my iPhone and has a battery backup so that it will work when the power is out. The installers made sure I was happy with everything before they left and showed me how to use the new garage door opener and provided me with 2 remotes and a keypad.

Well - things work fine a few weeks on.

I called Travis at 10:30 a.m. and he had a service person over by 12:15 p.m. Jorge did a great job with fixing my garage doors which were damaged in the April flood. The small door was bent badly at the bottom and top, but he was able to put it back in place. I've hired other garage repair companies in the past and they easily would have charged me over $400 for this job for just one door, but I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable Spectrum is with excellent service and quality. I am thrilled with the job performed by Spectrum! I thought I would need a new garage door opener but I was told that there was no need to replace it. The equipment was in very good shape. The codes needed to be reset for the remotes, and some fine tuning to align the sensors, otherwise everything worked perfectly.

These guys were great. I called before purchasing the deal, to ask a few questions, and they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They got me scheduled even before I made the purchase on Angies List (I called on a Friday and had me scheduled for the following Tuesday Morning). I purchased the deal shortly after talking with them. The morning of the install Mike (The Installer) called me to let me know he was going to be a little late, and left me his # in case I had any more questions or needed anything (called 2 hours before, as soon as he realized it) and was right on time of what he estimated (just 30 minutes later than was originally scheduled). The Installer was extremely friendly and professional, and very informative. I had to leave for work shortly after he arrived, but My wife said he was extremely friendly as well, and that he explained everything perfectly before leaving(I can confirm this, because when she relayed to me what he told her, it all made since). They put up new rails, nylon rollers, and the garage door, and it looks great. It is much quieter, and makes a great seal now (The old garage door was warped and allowed for leaves and such to be blown underneath). I will definitely use these guys again, and would recommend them to all. Great Service, Quick Turn Around, Friendly, Knowledgeable personnel, and professional, quality, service get these guys 2 thumbs up!

Travis came out right on schedule a quickly diagnosed the situation and priced it explaining every step of the process. I need 2 new L brackets and my wife's car hit the bottom portion of the door as she was exiting the garage and did not see that the door was almost all the way open and caught the leading edge with the top of our SUV. Travis installed a brace to strengthen and align the panels and replaced the brackets, lubricated all Teflon wheels and both of my springs. The door now works quietly and closes sealing very tight and all completed within 1 hour.

When I shut the garage door by remote one early afternoon, it made a loud, reverberating bang when it hit the ground. Then, it wouldn't open but a foot or so. I called Spectrum and told the guy (don't remember his name right now) what happened. He said it sounded like a broken spring. I had another appointment later that afternoon and asked about when it could be fixed. He said he'd get his technician to my house that same afternoon. The technician arrived within 2 or 3 hours of my phone call. That is super quick service! And, they gave me a break on the price too. That was extra nice considering it was same day service. I'd definitely use them again.

I prepurchased a door repair/tune up thru Angies list for $90.00 and am totally pleased with with the cost and service provided by Spectrum. They said they would be out onSaturday morning between 9 and 10 a.m. and Troy showed up at 9:30, well with in the window. The door opener would take the door half way up and then start grinding away with the door just sitting there not moving. Troy showed me the part that was worn out and he replaced it, the cost of the part was included in the deal I had purchased. Then he showed me why the part wore out, the spring tension on the door was too loose, he said he could tighten it up which would make the spring do more of the work and the door opener less work but there was a $50.00 charge for that. I know these springs are dangerous to mess with if you don't know what you're doing so I had him add the tension to the spring. He was done with the whole thing, including lubricating the rollers and hinges, in 20 minutes. I am very hapy with the service provided for the money and Troys knowledge and speed in taking care of everything.

Cory was very professional, used company before and it took less than hour for him to place door on track & make other repairs. Will continue to use company for repairs.

Corey, was great. He installed the door when I was at work and even managed to fix the dent in the garage door. He was very courteous and polite and overall did a great job.

He called when he was nearby, he showed up on time, and was great overall. If I ever have a problem in the future, I am calling him. He explained everything he was doing as he went. He was a nice guy AND did a great job!

The gentleman that came out was very professional and courteous. Called my cell phone to get details. I told him my concerns and also included that I was having issues with the control button on the wall. Fixed everything without an issue. He also gave the impression that he really enjoyed his work, which gives a level of comfort. Great service!!!

There was a little glitch with the service area but they honored the deal and arrived as promised. No complaints.
