Spectrum Overhead Door

Paul was the technician who installed our doors. He was fast, professional and cleaned up after himself. We agreed on a price, and that's what he charged me. He also did a really good job explaining the new spring system, how to maintain it and areas of precaution when operating them. I would use them again and for sure recommend Spectrum to others.

The technician, Paul, arrived a few minutes early, after calling to confirm that it would be okay. He replaced the rollers on both garage doors and oiled/lubricated everything. Both doors are in perfect working condition now. Yeah! Why didn't I do this sooner?

Pretty straight-forward job: I just needed a garage door opener to be installed. The tack was already in place and the outlets were good and ready to go, I just needed the garage door opener, wall control and security sensors installed. The guy who came out did it very fast (less than an hour) and over a month later everything still works perfectly. I will use Spectrum again when I get a garage door opener installed on my other garage door.

The rollers were replaced. All the moving parts i.e.. hinges, springs, chain, etc. were lubricated. An adjustment was made to keep the door from hanging up at a certain spot. The work was done in an efficient and timely manner. The technician was professional and explained what he was doing and why.

Arrived on time. Did the job as outline and estimated. Cleaned up after the job was over. Excellent job and very well done.

The service rep came out and looked our door over and put it though it's paces. He described what he was going to be doing, more importantly why he was going to do these tasks, and approximately how long it would take. He was very professional both in his dress and knowledge of the door system. Although our door, which is for a two car garage, is not more than 7 years old and we had others come out to give it a Tune-Up and maintenance it was moving roughly and we felt it was time to get it checked again. When the rep left he showed us what he had done and more importantly the differences in the door after the adjustments, cleaning, and new roller installation. The door is now SO quiet when you open or close it you have to look and make sure it's moving since there is no more loud noise from the steal rollers. I can't express enough the quality or work and knowledge that this service rep had and the huge difference moving from steal rollers to Neoprene rollers!

I placed a call to Spectrum late morning, and they were able to come over the same day. Paul arrived on time and got right to work replacing my snapped spring. I used the Angie's list coupon for double spring replacement (I had one spring before, but we suspected that's why it had snapped after only 5 years, should have been two). That was all that I was expecting. Pleasant surprise to come out and see Paul greasing all the hinges, rollers and track. That was unexpected. He passively commented on how loud our door was, and I agreed, but assumed that could only be fixed with replacing the door. He let me know that he had a quieter wheel that would help, and when I asked the price, it was very reasonable. He even said if I wasn't happy as soon as he was done, he's switch them back for free. I was thrilled with the results! It's like a whole new thing, SO quiet and smooth. I like to stand out and listed to it close, it's startling how much better it is. We will hire this company again for sure, but hopefully I don't need to for a while.

Technician (Michael) arrived on time. Explained the process and discussed some options. He began and completed the work as described in the time discussed. The installation was completely satisfactory and the technician also explained some additional features such as using a vehicle remote to link to and open the doors. The job was done professionally and very tidily. Will definitely use Spectrum again for anything having to do with garage doors.

Spectrum did a great job fixing our garage door and I would totally use them again! The technician explained what was broken and gave us two options - short term fix and long term fix. He outlined the price for each. We went with the long term fix and he had it working in no more than half an hour. The price was fair and the door and opener are now working great. Thanks, Spectrum!

They discovered the builders of my house installed the garage door springs incorrectly, on a double spring system, one spring was correct, one was completely wrong. The incorrect spring was the one that was handling the entire weight of the door, the correct spring was not even connected. the improper installation (from the builders) caused one of the weight bearing brackets to be completely sheared through. Once diagnosed, the springs and bracket were replaced, I asked if they could replace the opener button becuse the sopring was worn out, they did so and charged me cost for the unit. Upon completion, they thoroughly lubricated the entire garage doos system, even in a couple of places I had never though to lube it before. The only do I can recommend on this write up, is if you have garage door issues call this company.

I called Travis on a Thursday and he was able to come out the next day to look at our garage issues. Our garage door opener was no longer working after one of the trip boxes took an unexpected bounce from a soccer ball causing the wires to come out. Travis was able to repair it with no issues, and a nice bonus was that it ended up on the lowest end of the estimate he originally gave me on the phone. I also had him do a tune-up on both garage doors in which he replaced about 12 rollers and lubricated all of the areas that needed it. The whole process took about an hour for him to complete. The garage doors are working better than ever and so QUIET! They made so much noise before Travis worked on them and now it's barely audible. Anytime I can find someone that gets something to work with less noise in this chaotic house gets a gold star from me! Thanks, Travis!

My garage door failed to open using the opener. I called for service to identify the issue and a technician was there the same day. He found the problem and replaced the broken spring and the other old spring on the opposite side. He was quick and efficient and I will definitely use Spectrum if I have a problem again.

The gentleman who came to service my garage door was on time. He explained everything to me that needed to be done. He was extremely professional and did a great job.

Set-up an appt. Tech was on time, clean cut and professional. He diagnosed the problem and had it resolved quickly. 2nd time to use spectrum, both times the techs that came out were extremely knowledgeable in their field.

My husband searched online and called around 2:00 pm. The service guy was able to come out around 4:30 pm. He fixed promptly and neatly, and did not try to oversell - just what I needed!
