Michael thoroughly explained the problem with our very old opener and the new options. He was punctual and courteous. We are very pleased with the product and the service we received.

Travis arrived exact time that was promised. Very professional, did a full inspection and found that the circuit board needed to be replaced -- probably due to a power surge. He replaced it and suggested that I get a surge protector to prevent this from happening again. I would definitely use this company again and have told my friends about them and to ask for Travis!

Spectrum called to set up an appointment, arrived on time, explained what they would be performing, advised of certain conditions affecting the door operations, recommended a brace to straighten a door panel that was damaged, and completed the work very professionally.

Everything went smooth and quickly. He worked around the "stuff" in my garage and had it done in no time at all.

Showed-up when he said he would. Called ahead, just like I asked. Worked diligently during the service call. Answered my questions and consulted on future work and estimated prices for potential replacement components and garage door opener.

I called Wednesday afternoon, talked to Travis the owner. He answered immediately, was very helpful, answered all my questions and scheduled to come out first thing Thursday morning. Michael showed up and was very polite and friendly and ready to get to work. He installed new nylon rollers, lubricated, inspected everything and ran new sensor wires. He was done in a snap I was totally amazed. In the almost 9yrs we have lived here our garage door has never worked so great!!!! I have used a couple of different companies in the past that I was pleased with but Spectrum is by far my new FAV! Thx Angies List otherwise I would've never known about Spectrum ;-)

Arrrived on time, was professional in appearance and work performance. Completed the repair in a timely fashion. Also, came back a few weeks later when another unrelated problem occurred and fixed the garage door for a very reasonable price.

The service was great. The man that came out to do the work went over everything that he had done very thoroughly. He also took the time to explain exactly what I can do to prolong the time between service calls for this issue. He was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to demonstrate what I needed to be doing to keep the doors in the best condition possible.

The gentleman who did the work, Derek, was great. He told me everything he was doing as he was going along, and was very efficient and polite.

Travis arrived on time and quickly started the work. I didn't watch him (too hot to stay in the garage). But, I could see improvement in how the garage door opens and closes once he was done. I bought one of the Deals and it was a very good price for the work done.

First, I would like to thank Travis came by today (08/26/2013) earlier than the expected time to fix my garage door. Second, my garage door can not open due to the cables and the roller's track. Travis had to reset the cable and lubricated all the joins and the spring. He also changed my old rusty rollers to the new rubber rollers. Travis was very enthusiastic and diligent because he wants to go beyond the expectation by double check on everything that he did on his work and make sure the garage door operate correctly and safely. Third, he checked the garage opener for me without any additional charge!

He arrived as scheduled, gave me a price for some additional items needed and finished in a timely manner. I would use again.

It went just fine. The technician did a great job. He explained everything he did and answered all of my questions about any problems that might come up in the future, and the costs involved, as my garage door opener isn't new.

They did a good job and it worked out perfect. The people I called and the people I used were really good and professional. They ended up being even cheaper than they said they would be. I was overall impressed.

Top customer service and he was patient enough to spend time to teach me what I needed to know to maintain the garage door myself. The service was quick, easy, and highly effective.

The service turned out fine. It was a pretty easy repair, I didn't really know what was wrong with it but it was pretty quick for him to fix. He said it didn't need to replace the spring but he lubed everything up so it was fine. I thought he was professional, friendly and he did a good job.

The technician(Mike) arrived as scheduled time, and performed great services. He had some hard time installing the rollers at it was not going through smoothly. Had 1 spring before took the advantage of 2 spring from Angies List. I also changed all the rollers. Mike lubricated all the rollers. Garage door opens fine now and makes less noise. Very friendly and highly recommend his services. I am very pleased that the door has been serviced and the company delivered such wonderful service.

Took advantage of an on-line Angies list special for a garage tune up. Spectrum Overhead Door promptly called and set up a time. Their representative showed up on time and explained exactly was he was going to do. Since moving here in 2007 the doors have been jerky and LOAD. Although the special was for one door, the work resulted is such a major positive change in how it operated and had the other door tuned up also. This included new nylon rollers. Paul also pointed out that the springs on one door were too strong for that door. Good to know. Finally quiet and smooth operating doors. Thanks

I just bought an older home and the garage door opener would not open the door. I thought it needed a tune up since it looked pretty old, so I bought Spectrum's Angie's List coupon i.e. "$50 for Garage Door Tune-up PLUS Roller Replacement". It turned out that it needed more work than just a tuneup. Whoever owned the house before me had cut the cables, so those had to be replaced as well. It appeared that they let the door slam down on the ground, when they cut the cables, because it was very bent at the bottom. The repairman straightened it as best he could and replaced the wiring, oiled everything and gave me tips on keeping it running. It ran great for a few days, then began sporadically stopping part way up when I would try to open it. The repairman came back out quickly. He said that whoever installed the door did not use the correct sized springs. They were 1 size too small, so my very heavy door was causing it to think it was hitting something and would stop, as they are programmed to do when they hit something. He tightened the springs a bit tighter to give it more power, so it won't jam. He said this will cause my springs to wear out faster, which is why he didn't do it on the first trip, but that isn't his fault. He didn't install the door. Just trying to fix what someone else goofed up. He did not charge me for the 2nd trip which I thought was great, especially since the fault was not his. It is the fault of the person who installed my door incorrectly. The repairman seemed very knowledgable about garage doors, which I appreciate. Very nice guy and fair price for the work he did.
