Description of Work: The technician, Adam Scott, was a wonderful young man who arrived promptly and throughly discussed my pest control issues before proceeding. He explained the toxicity levels of the chemicals and how they worked. I told him there was a young dove in a nest on my back porch and I did not want her to be disturbed. So he used a pump spray around the ground perimeter of the back porch, instead of the louder one with the motor, being very careful not to let the spray get near her. A few days later, I was still having a problem with ants in the kitchen, so he returned at no charge and placed appropriate bait traps to finish them off. I highly recommend this company. Another good tip--put fresh bay leaves in your pantry and under your sink to keep those nasty bugs away!

Description of Work: Some animal tore through soffit screen, & we heard it in the attic. Adam came out and did a free search through the attic, then explained the cost to set a trap and the company guarantee. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. We decided to fix the soffit and see if the animal had gone. However, we heard it again, then noticed that it appeared that there was an exit hold in a soffit on the opposite side of the house. Adam came back and set a trap & we paid the $125 fee. We heard no activity in the attic for the next 3 days before we had to leave town for a week. Adam suggested that we leave the trap until we got back in town. We did & there was no animal captured. Evidently it had left before the trap was set up. Adam promptly retrieved the trap and refunded our money as promised (since no animal was captured).

Description of Work: I selected South Belt Pest & Termite Control from Angie's List because it was near my house, and highly recommended by other users. When I called, he answered the phone, listened to my description of my problem (silverfish), and then (gasp!) said that unless I had other pests in addition to the silverfish, I could save myself some money by acquiring the same treatment he would use, at a pest chemicals store which was also near my house. He told me that the treatment is a very simple one, non-toxic unless I ate the cardboard in which the chemical is impregnated ;^)), and very easy to do. I really appreciated his common sense and integrity--not often found in our world today, alas--and drove to the recommended store to buy the chemical. I will DEFINITELY TAKE MY BUSINESS TO HIM IN THE FUTURE !

Description of Work: Sprayed for bugs inside and outside of office space and left mice feeders to elimanate mice activity

Description of Work: Adam removed a bird from our chimney safely and humanely. He let the bird out of the floo and made sure it went out the back door safely.

Description of Work: I called about a suspected possum or raccoon in our attic. They determined that it was squirrels and where their access point is so we could repair it (the repair will involve replacing some chewed away wood, not a simple screen, therefore we will need to take care of that ourselves.)
