We manufacture build to order cabinetry. In as little as 3 weeks, we are able to design, build, finish, and deliver a custom set of cabinets in a wide variety of door/drawer front styles as well as finishes. Our cabinets are manufactured locally, they are not imported from China. You have the flexibility to make modifications to a single cabinet or to every cabinet. We have a very flexible system that is designed to allow the consumer to choose the items that are most important to them, such as soft closing drawers and doors.

Our experience with Smartwood Cabinets was outstanding. The most impressive thing was that they were always on schedule and actually delivered a little more than we expected. James Green is extremely smart and professional. He listened to our wishes and made valuable suggestions that enhanced the beauty of our kitchen and also helped our budget. One of the best things he did was convince us to go with a simple yet elegant style that fit the size of our kitchen and blended with the rest of our home. He also made suggestions regarding current trends in design that prevented us from choosing a dated look. James worked well with the other contractors and even settled me down a bit when other contractors got off schedule. Smartwood's price did not change from the initial estimate (althought I'm certain that they added extra touches!), and we really appreciated that. We highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: As part of remodeling our kitchen, we decided to reface (as opposed to completely replacing) our cabinets. The owner of Smartwood Cabinets, James Green, came to our home and after consulting with him, we realized that we could significanlty update our 58 cabinets and drawers within budget. We chose a custom design that included 4 glass front cabinets, crown molding (around the entire kitchen) and trim around the bottom of our upper level cabinets. Smartwood built the 58 cabinets and doors, and also built a new cabinet to replace a trash compactor and converted another cabinet into an enclosed trash bin. They also designed a beautiful decorative panel with corbels for our extended countertop. They installed the crown molding, cabinet bottome trim, panel and corbels in one day. When the painter arrived, he had one thing to say: "Your cabinet guys did a great job." After the painter finished painting the cabinets and drawers, the Smartwood team came in and hung them in a matter of hours.
