Despite not leaving a message and it being Sunday morning, Veronica returned my call promptly. After a brief discussion on the worsened situation with my sprinkler system, Veronica was able to squeeze me in for an expedited service call. Emmanuel called just a couple of minutes later to let me know he would be arriving in 20 minutes. Upon his arrival, we had a short discussion about the immediate need and he got to work. Within about 30 minutes, the line was capped, our water was back on, and all was cleaned up. I highly recommend Simply Sprinkler.

They were punctual, assessment was quick but cost to change each valve was 199. I only got 2 changed since he only had 2 on his truck. As I observed the process it was done in 30 mins or so and required to open 4 screws and clip two wires per valve which were next to each other. I went to check the price of the valve at home depot and it’s under $20. So effectively I paid $360 for labor which was an hour max including assessment. I bought the other two valve at home depot and changed it myself. Way overpriced. He wanted to charge me another $250 as the valves were another 4-5 inches below the regular depth. He did not charge me for it as I told him I will dig the 4-5 inches for him.

One of the zones or our sprinkler system was not working properly. They were called and came out a week later. Two men showed up and were very pleasant. I told them the problem. They determined that there were two leaks in the system and told me the price of 255.00 to fix them. I asked if it was broken pipes or head broken and never seemed to get a straight answer. The Man spoke very fast, mummbled and difficult to understand. But I understood it to be broken pipes. It took less than an hour to fix. They showed me the zone they had "fixed" stating that there were too many sprinkler heads in that zone and there was little to no water pressure so that is why it is not workinng properly but was a little better than before. He explained that the heads were ok and the dribbling the sprinkler heads were doing was due to low water pressure and not because they were broken. I paid the 255.00. My husband came home and I told him what I was told. He went out to inspect the work. He found no digging, meaning it wasn't broken pipes and saw the poor pressure. He noticed that the heads were not coming up well and found that there was a broken sprinkler head which he replaced in a few minutes along with a couple more and the system worked great. The water pressure was fine. The problem was due to a broken sprinkler head and a couple worn out heads that were replaced by my husband in a few minutes. We were charged 125.00 for two man labor under one hour ( I was told by the person answering the phone that i wasn't charged for a full hour because the charge is 85.00 per hour each) and 65.00 per "leak repair" x2 = 135.00. So near as I can tell I paid 255.00 for two men to come and change two sprinkler heads that cost 5.00 each at Lowes and still did not fix the problem at all. I called to report this to the company and all the lady answering the phone could say was "I'm really sorry about this and I will document this on the report". I am not happy at all and will not be calling them again. BEWARE!

This company charges $125 per hour for the first hour and $99 per hour for the second hour at my rent house. When he travels 3 doors down to my house he starts his rate over at $125 per hour. This is gouging. Another example of gouging is I am paying top dollar for labor, but they also bill for installation of the valves, these are $15 valves that can be bought at Lowes. They charged $330 to install them, this is $300 above cost. They consider this material and charge tax on top of that. I asked several times how he came up with his estimate and it never made sense to me. I was looking at the labor charges and figuring how much the parts were and we were $300 to $400 off in my mind. At my house, they gave up on attempting to repair the broken sprinkler head due to roots. I had already dug down 6 inches and decided to call them because that's what they do. I ended up making this repair myself. I stopped them from continuing in the backyard as they told me I would have to call out another company to change the sprinkler head out front, so what was the point in paying so d*** much money and they can not complete the job. The workmen were professional and did a decent job for what they did. My mistake in picking this company was I saw their truck with a big $39.95 sprinkler repair driving around. Don't get taken. I will not be using them again and would not want anyone to waste so much hard earned money on this overpriced undervalued company.

Ruined our sprinkler system, and now claims it is a "coincidence" that everything broke after their first visit. Called them out several times to repair - each time claimed something else was broken. In essence, they came the first day and dug up/replaced parts of the system. Since their "Work" very few zones function anymore. They offered an 8% discount off labor (and initially tried to assert the 30-day warranty on labor, despite the fact they were put on notice of their faulty work well before 30 days had elapsed). Charged us over $600 so far, bid an extra $600 to repair what "coincidentally" broke after their initial visit. I would take them to small claims court but frankly don't have the time. I'd be very wary of using this company.

My complaint with SS is really about the scheduling. I had an afternoon appointment setup. When the technician arrived, he didn't have any of the required tools or parts to perform the service and simply asked me to call the central number to reschedule. I was told the technician would arrive the first time with all of the necessary parts to perform the service on the spot. That having been said, the second set of technicians that came out on the reschedule were great and very helpful. If they had showed up the first time, I would recommend their service.

I had a leaking sprinkler valve. I was quoted over the phone $85 for a one hour labor + parts. Crew called me exactly 20 mins before the appointment to tell me they were going to arrive in 20 mins. Indeed they arrive right on time. They confirmed the issue was a leaking valve. So they asked were was the box, I did not know so they quoted. $85 charge to locate the valve + $185 (one hundred and eighty five......no typo) to replace it. I asked for a better pricing, they declined. So, I reluctantly agreed to the charges. They located the valve and upon seeing the valve, they said that it was an old model and they will need to procure it. And because the proximity with the other valve, they claimed that if they could not locate the old model valve, they would have to replace the 2 valves (instead of just one) with a new model for $185 each for a total of $370. A valve costs around $40 on the high end. In one hr they would surely replace 1 valve and perhaps the other, so for a job that should cost $165 or even $200.......they were to charge $370. I turned them down and moved to another supplier.

Technician was on time and very professional. He completed the task in about 20 minutes.

He checked out my whole sprinkler system, replaced one sprinkler head, and found another sprinkler head that needed to be replaced as it was not working properly. He arrived on time and was very professional. I have used this company before and will definitely use them again.

Excellent service, too expensive!

I was cutting some roots and had to cut some PVC pipes the root grew around. I also cut the timing wire. So I didn't want to mess with spicing the wire and called to just get the pipes patched and the wire spliced together. I didn't have any issues with the valves everything worked prior to me cutting the 2 pipes. They I called in the morning and 2 guys came on time at 10. I paid 140.00 to patch the pipes and one worker came to tell me there was no electricity going to the wires. the timer is on the other side of a long yard so to rewire would mean a lot of work and money. He recommended I buy a new outdoor timer and place it close to the valves. So I did and I rewired it. I ran it to check the zones and1 zone didn't work. I thought it was a solenoid and replaced the old one . Still didn't work, So I called for them to come out again. they checked it and recommended we replace the valve. $160 and they replaced the top part of the valve and I'm assuming the inside. They didn't leave any of the old parts behind. nor did they leave the clearly new solenoid I had just purchased. He ran the one station it worked and they went on their way. when my husband got home he ran all 6 station to check on them. now 2 other stations didn't work. I called asked to speak to a manager. I was told a super would be out to check the work. The super came out immediately lied. saying the system wouldn't because the weather gauge wasn't connected. I showed him different. Then the story was that there is a great chance that replacing one valve will damage others around it. OK if that's true the would it be SOP to run all zones after that kind of work?? after getting ahold of the manager I was refunded the 160 for the second trip. but not before being offered to replace remaining 5 valves for $700 - 160 I had already paid the second time around. I declined

Used provider prior week to repair and troubleshoot sprinkler system that would not work at all, no zones operating. Determined zone 1 solenoid bad and repaired a couple of sprinkler heads. This visit replaced 6 pop ups, 12 nozzles, fixed 2 risers and repaired 2 leaks. Prior visit I was the main contact and felt comfortable enough to have my wife manage second visit. She was very pleased as well, not an easy thing to do as her lawn, shrubs, trees and flowers are very important to her. Provider warrants work for 2 years. I will have them back for the spring check up.

I was having a problem with my automatic sprinklers where every time a certain station was started, the fuse in the controller would blow. Having recently purchased my house I did not know where the sprinkler valves were and apparently they are all in different locations in yard boxes hidden under the grass. Simply Sprinklers came out and used a metal detector to trace the wire for the station from the controller to the valve. They said this service cost $80. It was a pretty nifty tool actually that they hook up one end to the station they are trying to locate and then can trace the wire. This was probably worth it as I would have never found the valve. Upon locating the valve they confirmed the problem with the valve required it to be replaced. This is where they get a low rating on price as they wanted almost $200 for the new valve plus labor. I forget the exact prices quoted but with that and the sprinkler replacements the quote was nearly 600 dollars for parts and labor. The part that got me was the valve price when Amazon has the same valve for under $20. I originally told them no to doing the service, and was just going to pay for the $80 locating service. However before they left, the 'called their manager' and their manager offered to do the work for $450. While I still feel it was a bit high (2 guys were there for maybe an hour and a half total) I agreed for them to do the work to avoid the hassle of going through this again and I estimated I would probably only save a hundred dollars or so if I shopped around (although I am not really sure). The work they did was good, and I have no complaints with it. I do tend to lose some confidence when I am not offered the best price up front, but at least they made an effort to come down to get my business.

Technician arrived at the specified time and I pointed out the leak at the backflow preventer. He then did a full system checkout and identified all needed repairs. I approved the repairs and the technician proceeded to install new sprinkler heads and reset depth and coverage of others. He did not have the replacement valve that was needed, so he had to order the parts for the valve. We had a bit of difficulty scheduling the follow-up visit, but all work was completed and the system now operates very well, with good coverage on all zones.

Their price was reasonable and they provided fast service. They came out the next day after I called them and told me what the problem was. They also fixed the sprinkler heads within hours. The service was fine. I would call them up and use them again. As a matter of fact, they are already setup to come out and service my equipment before I start using the sprinklers in March.

Called on a Saturday morning because water was gushing from the fittings on my sprinkler backflow. I was able to schedule an apt for Monday as Saturday was all booked up. They called Saturday afternoon and informed me one of their technicians (Emmanuel) finished earlier than expected. He arrived by 500 pm and had finished by 630. He was very professional and courteous. He completed the work quickly, tested the system and made sure everything worked okay. I appreciated them fitting me in on such short notice. Having had this same repair done twice before the cost was very reasonable and he was very efficient.

The guy from Simply Sprinkler was really good. He took the time that I needed to understand the system.

The company is very responsive and they work in efficient manner.

I noticed I had a busted sprinkler head one morning and gave them a call. They set up an appointment for that afternoon and gave me a 2 hour window in which they would be out. The technician called 30 minutes in advance and let me know he was on his way. They replaced a broken sprikler head and adjusted the spray pattern on the complete system.

.Very nice man. Programed control box and fixed broken sprinkler heads. One (1) of the heads came on PM instead AM. George was back within the hour.We are very pleased and plan to use them in the future

Fence looked good and no problems until April this year (2011). We had some winds, not excessive I think officially 20 mph and 3 sections of fence fell over. On inspecting the fence the post had rotted at the base where they went into the cement. Looking at the fence overall several other post had also rotted. The posts were not related nor were the supports between the posts. On contacting the company I was informed they no longer did fencing and what did I want them to do about it. I requested the fence be replaced with materials as per the quote. This they refused to do.
