The gentleman who came was very polite and through. He did find some low amounts of mold and told us how to clean it ourselves if we did not want to hire a remediation company. We also received a full written report. We will have him back to make sure it is gone.

We are having a house built and decided to hire our own inspector as we've been burned in the past relying solely on the builder's inspectors to do the right thing. I contacted SEI in July and was given a lot of information about how the inspection is conducted. When we were ready to hire them in September, I was able to provide a week's notice. SEI honored the quote provided in July. SEI was prompt (starting at 2 PM) and performed a thorough inspection of the house inside and out. Travis, the owner, uses infrared technology to detect water leaks or areas missing insulation...pretty neat stuff. It took approximately under 3 hours to complete. Travis was very polite in answering and explaining all my questions. He walked me around the house to show me areas of concern. At the end (5 PM), I paid him via check and was told my report would be emailed the next morning, which it was. He is flexible and professional. If you can provide lead time for inspections, he prefers that but understands the need for rush requests too. My experience was very good!

He was able to get out the next day and even avaliable to show up earlier when we asked because we needed to change our times. Was detailed yet efficient. Found even the littlest things that one would never even consider or see. Best price I had found for all three services hands down.

Travis did a home inspection for us as prospective buyers. He was flexible in his scheduling to accommodate our needs, even though I had to cancel our first appointment due to seller delays. He was very thorough and took his time to inspect the property inside and out, underneath the pier & beam house, in the attic, and the detached garage. His rates are very reasonable, and he spends as much time on his inspection as inspectors who charge more. Also, his detailed report provided many photos and comments. He spent a good amount of time with us after completing his inspection (while we were still at the house) to go over each item and look at each area. He answered all of our questions. He emailed us our inspection report in less than 24 hours, and responded to our emailed questions the next day. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and I can definitely recommend him.

Travis was recommended to me by my relatives. He was the inspector for their house closing. In our case, we had already scheduled the services of another inspecting firm. However we wanted to use someone who had EMF inspection skills. Travis came by to do this, was very thorough and professional in his dealings. The most crucial part was when we were ready to close the house on the 15th of December and the repairs were only completed that weekend. Hence leaving the 14th as the only day for inspection walk through before closing. It was very close and it was difficult to get an inspector on short notice. We weren't looking for detailed inspection, just confirmation that repairs were done. In particular a leakage issue on the ceiling. Even though it was last minute, Travis went above and beyond and drove over to take a look. I would use his services in a heartbeat again. In both instances, Travis was very thorough and explained all the steps he was working through. Highly recommend!

He identified all of the items i my home that were either not perfect or was just unique items in may particular house. My house was made in 1958.....a fair distance. I watch Mr. Hooper checkout the entire house and I really don't have many items to be corrected. He is a great person and I recommend to everyone that he is excellent and knows his business.

I highly recommend Travis. We had a short deadline to get an inspection and he maneuvered through Houston traffic during rush hour to get from the north side of town to the south side in order to help us out. Because of our time constraints, he worked late into the night to get us the report in time to make a decision on proceeding with the home purchase. He has excellent skills and seems like a good person as well.
