Everything worked out perfectly. They were very friendly, and on time. They wore a mask and made sure everyone practiced social distancing. They answered all questions, and were very thorough.

I called Travis about inspecting a house that we were buying. I had a few concerns about the condition of several things ( AC, etc.) and he said he’d tell me about them after he inspected the house. Short version- he found that the AC wasn’t working and another large item saving me $3,000-$5,000 of repairs that the seller agreed to fix in order to close. Additionally, Travis gave me a 45 page inspection report detailing every deficiency-including photos. If you’re in the Houston area...Travis and SEI is the one to call!

Travis did a great job inspecting a 3-story, almost 4,000 sq ft house. He spent about 4 hours and produced a 79-page illustrated report the next day. Very professional and attentive to details. Highly recommended.

Travis was EXTREMELY responsive via Angie's List, and available to come out quickly. Even though the weather was spotty, he made sure the inspection happened, and the very thorough report was delivered 24 hours later upon receipt of payment. Not only was the report thorough, but Travis was great about talking me through it, making sense of things and prioritizing items which need to be addressed sooner rather than later. He also went above and beyond in arranging for a termite inspector to come at the same time he was there, removing something from my ever-growing list of things to do and making sure I had what I needed!I am extremely happy with this experience, and would recommend him to anyone needing these services! Very well. Thorough inspection. The report is very professional, comprehensive and easy to understand. I hired SEI because of their good reviews on Angie's List and because they were NOT on the list of inspectors that my realtor provided. I wanted a fair, unbiased inspection. Travis performed the inspection and I then met him at the house where he walked me through his findings. He explained all issues and answered all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and extremely qualified.

I found Travis on Angies list a year ago and hired him because of great reviews, his construction experience, and his very fair pricing scheme (you pay per square foot). We had issues with the builder claiming things were fixed and then doing little to nothing to actually remedy the problems found on the inspection report. Travis cut me a good deal on the multiple reinspections and was very reponsive, accomodating and a pleasure to work with. Just had him out one last time before our one year warranty expires and he found the source of our "mysterious" repeat roof leak with his drone. Thanks again Travis for saving my bacon (again)!

Travis is amazing . We used his services first time a few months ago while on a house hunt for our first home . We loved the house but deep inside I knew it needed a lot of work . I am very particular with whom I pick to do any work so I researched for hours and found Travis ( SEI) to be the best rated and booked the spot . I found him on Angie's list .The whole process of booking was easy my grandma could do . He arrived promptly after texting me to make sure he has the right address etc . He then began his inspection . I am not exactly intrigued by this kind of line of duty but I was mesmerized by his attention to the details . He noticed EVERYTHING that was wrong with the house . Every major and little thing that I couldn't possibly even think of . Then wait for it he user drone so he can take a better look and high definition pictures of the roof . He took his time making sure he looks at every inch of the home . My report was ready the next day . When I looked at the pictures and explanations and all they details again I decided to call him to go over the report to understand it more . 75 pages ! Wow . He explained all of it and why we would probably should consider looking elsewhere perhaps , because the house wasn't easy to fix and would require a lot of material and timely effort . Fast forward a few months we just now inspected a home and Travis once again is a star . He found out about things that helped us tremendously negotiate and the most important to get the house ready to comply with the code . I am forever thankful to Travis for saving us from the first disaster of a home and helping with a new one . Btw he is coming to recheck the work the builder will do soon to fix the house . A million times recommended ! Thank you !!!!

Travis with SEI Inspections was incredible to work with. With little time to make inspection arrangements for my new home, he accommodated my tight schedule while also providing the most competitive deal I could find. Travis is very professional, accurate, flexible to meet appointment needs and is up to date on his continuing education to aid his expertise in this field (i.e. thermal imaging, EMF testing - this was all new to me). The best compliment is a referral. I have referred him to many of my family members and friends needing services. Travis was great throughout the entire process. We had three inspections completed for our new construction home and Travis ensured that we not only understood his findings, but explained the construction process and answered any questions we had regarding the build. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and personable and I would highly recommend him for any inspection services.

Travis and his assistant Xavier, showed promptly at 8 am as we had scheduled. After introducing themselves and giving and overview of what the inspection would entail, they went straight to work starting with the house exterior to include the roof (which he actually walked). I was also invited to accompany them during the inspection which I did. During the inspection he gave several recommendations for home improvements or to have another professional (plumber, electrician, etc) look it over. He was very willing to answer any questions during the inspection. What I liked is he did not do any other business. He provided some names of plumbers and electricians after I asked; Travis didn't try to steer me toward any one in particular. Inside the home he had several recommendation concerning plumbing and found a double-pane window that should be replaced. The entire inspection lasted 3 1/2 hours and was much more thorough than the one I had nine years ago when I purchased the home. Additionally, the actual report was very detailed (44 pages) compared to others I have received from previous inspections. Travis is the fourth inspector I've used (second in TX) and was far and away the most detailed. His price was also the lowest ($450 plus $110 for termite) of the other three high-rated inspectors I contacted from Angie's List. When it comes time to purchase my next home, Travis will be the first I call!

I needed a home inspected , Travis found issues with foundation and we moved on to another property. Second home was a winner. I found SEI Inspetions LLC in Angie's List while deciding whether or not to do a home inspection for a new home. I'm glad I did because we would not have found the issues without having the experienced eye of a former construction manager. Travis was prompt, friendly, and informative. He explained how to properly take care of a house. His website was easy to navigate and feature-filled, and you also get enrolled for maintenance alerts for your home. We did our walkthrough today and our construction manager was receptive of Travis' recommendations. I highly recommend SEI for future home inspections.

couldn't be more pleased with the inspection from travis. he did an extremely thorough job, catching all sorts of minor details that needed to be addressed. the report included pics of all deficient items. sei would be my first call for a future inspection.
