Great, secure roofing did a good job at a good price. They were responsive and on time.

I own several rental properties that James has done roof repairs. He is experienced, honest, professional, hard working, and his fee very reasonable. He would take pictures before and after repairs so that I don't have to physically go up on the roof to check. I trust him to do all my roof repairs/replacement.

Excellent!! I cannot say enough good things about James Pruett and his team at Secure Roofing. I needed some roof work done and he was right there with a timely estimate and work schedule. The work was done on the day and in the time he stated, and I could not be more pleased. James takes the time to listen to his customers and explains what is needed and offers options. I’ve waited six months to write this review so I could be more sure of the quality of the work. In that time I’ve gone through periods of high heat, torrential downpours and even a hail storm. The work has held up impeccably. I was careful with this decision, and their professionalism, communication, work quality and warranty period could not be beat! In the future, I am going straight to Secure Roofing because I know I will get the best solution at the best price.

Very well, all showed up on time last Thursday and all was done by 6:30 pm. I pointed out several issues during the process and were taking care of without arguing. I am satisfied with the work done. I was home which help quite a bit, retired so nothing else to do. I was able to negotiate better warranty and better shingles for a good price. Other company’s used different products that are not actually the best. James was good in explaining the difference. Will recommend this company. Like anything else, you have to educate yourself on roof replacement because it happens every 20 years or so...new products on the pipeline.

The roof was completed on January 10, 2019. James Pruitt met with me January 3, 2019 for an hour to discuss different shingles, walk and check my roof. We discuss my back porch which had some decking issues. His crew showed up at 6:50 AM and had a complete tear off, used 3 sheets of 7/16 OSB and installed Roofnado Anchor Deck 90 on the entire deck. The job was completed by 5:00PM and James supervised the job and did a final walk though check. The clean up was excellent and all trash hauled off. It should be noted the final price was within $15.00 dollars of his estimate. Other roofers gave me vague estimates, never walked my roof or responded 4 to 7 days later or not at all. James details all that he does in his Angies List Specials. My roof was priced at the special sq ft rate even though it did not fit one his specials. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Secure Roofing again.

James visited my home. He preformed an extensive inspection and worked with me to provide a quality estimate. He was timely and provide good information to help me understand the Issues with my roof. I chose another contractor who was available mainly on cost and knowledge of work preformed by the other contractor. I would have selected Secure Roofing for this job if I had not received the other quote.

I could not be happier with Secure Roofing. My roof needed to be completely replaced. It was a big expense so I did my homework. I learned what to look for in a roofing company and what constituted a good job by a roofer. Armed with a base of knowledge, I evaluated eight different roofing companies. I read a ton of reviews from various web site such as yelp, google, Angie's List, the BBB, and HomeAdvisor and I scoured information on their individual web sites. Of these eight, I had five roofing companies provide me with estimates. Most of them visited my home and just provided me with a sheet of paper outlining the work they'd do and the cost. Some provided a detailed breakout of the materials they'd use and the total cost but no details. James Pruett, with Secure Roofing, was very detailed with me from the very first phone call. He was very professional, obviously very knowledgeable and just plain nice. He was also the only one that discussed his quote with me in detail and in person and provided examples of the material he would use with options. He even showed my his license and insurance. He explained the materials, options and the work he'd do in detail. No other company did any of this. Furthermore, the quality of the materials he offered and used on my roof were superior to most others (Certainteed) and his was the best price! James' team showed up at 7:09 AM and they had my entire roof stripped in two hours flat! My new roof, with new & extended ridge vents, was fully installed by 4:30 PM...on a very windy day! He sent me pictures throughout the process while I was at work, showing me that they were using the proper number of nails per shingle and installing things correctly. They left my property spotless...no nails, shingle bits or anything left in my yard. He called me to let me know they were done and waited until I got home to explain what all they had done and answer any questions I had. Job went very well! Had James look at the roof repairs as well as other general repair work on some siding that had water damage. They came in fixed it in one day and I could not be happier! Quality work and the price was very good! Secure roofing is my go to roofing contractor ! Need work give them a call! Very easy to deal with and leave the job site clean when they leave.

My insurance company sent a notice of cancellation with pictures of my roof being damaged. I searched Angie's list for a trusted, highly rated roofing company. Secure Roofing had excellent ratings/reviews and reasonable pricing deals. I called and spoke with James the owner. I explained my dilemma and sent him the pics I had from my insurance company. He was very professional and worked me into his schedule for an inspection the very next day. James' inspection revealed, the pics from the insurance company were not of my roof but my neighbors. My roof needed very minimal maintenance and repair. He started the repairs immediately and for a very fair price. He sent pictures of his work when completed via text and email. James was nice enough to write a letter detailing the work performed and his the state of my roof to submit to my insurance company. I had a minor leak around a chimney, James came out and inspected the entire roof and provided pictures of his inspection with recommendations on how to correct them. He spent about 2 hours on my roof a sealed up the chimney, and exposed nails, flashing, etc. I will be calling on him again when i need an inspection, "tune up", or full roof replacement.

James and his crew did a prompt and professional job of roofing. In all, the roof was well done and there was follow up on a couple of issues noted after paid. The follow-up was not quite as prompt as I would have liked, but the issues appear finally resolved to my satisfaction.

With all the roofers in the Houston area, knowing who to trust with such a major project is daunting. When I contacted James for a quote, he responded within an hour. He also personally inspected my roof and made specific recommendations. James also explained how Certainteed shingles differ from GAF and Owens Corning and provided a very good price for replacing my whole roof. On the day of the job, the team arrived right on time and completed it by the end of the day. While I was away, James texted me photos of the progress they were making with the teardown and installation. James later on inspected the roof personally. I was very impressed and pleased.

Contacted James via email to inquire about obtaining a quote for roof replacement. Response to email was great, he was busy with other jobs so it took a couple days to get a quote for my home. Purchased angies list deal to replace roof and just had to play a little more cause my roof was larger. His guys showed up promptly to start work and finished same day. I received pics of the progress made, Work was done as requested and the job site was cleaned up well.

I got quotes from four of the top ranked companies in this area on Angie’s list and I thought that James Pruett was the most professional and I liked his attitude the best. When all the numbers were in, he was also the lowest cost. He originally thought the job might take a day and a half but he brought out extra guys and completed the job in one day. After noticing some small debis remaining a few days later, I called James and he had his foreman personally come back and spend a couple hours searching my yard for any trash. I have already recommended their work to my next-door neighbor. They did everything that was promised and in contract and the roof looks great!

Excellent customer service all around and great communication with the owner Mr. James Pruett. He took out time to examine our roof and later gave us much needed information and an estimate. The price was better than the other quotes we had received previously and we were obliviously pleased. The workers were productive and attentive as they worked hard to complete the job within the same day. They also did a great job with the cleanup afterwards. We are delighted we chose Secure Roofing .

James came out on Thanksgiving(!) to repair a leak on my roof. I feared the worst but he quickly assessed the roof as being in decent shape and only needing some minor work, which he quoted and did right on the spot. His quote was so unexpectedly low (and especially for a Holiday) that I paid him more for his work, which in the end was still a very fair price. James is professional and honest. He did not suggest any extraneous things. He did not mind me hanging around and watching while he worked. I would definitely hire James again.

They were very professional and communicative. Showed up on time, informed me of issues up front and stayed on budget. Even went beyond what the other companies quoted for less money.

It was a free estimate. The quality of the estimate was very thorough. I'm very happy with them. I just hope when they do the work, it's just as good. It was a lot less than a lot of the other ones were. A lot of them gouging because of the hurricane. It's not a complete roof job, it's a less job. That's the reason I needed it because of the hurricane.
