Description of Work: 02/02/2019 Had appointment to replace spring after 3pm on a Friday. Never showed up, never called. I called office just before 5pm, asked about my service call, they said let me check, then hung up on me. When I called back they were closed. This shows they care nothing about people as they asked me if my car was stuck in the garage, I told them it was. They didn't care! They wonder why Sears is going under???????? Description of Work:Have since heard from Sears Garage Doors. They admitted that there was a communication failure. Partly my fault as my cell service where I live is not that good. They did try to call - twice. I got the message that they called my cell phone too late. I would in fact give them another chance should I need repairs in the future as it was not entirely their fault.

Replaced springs, and disposed old ones. Checked thoroughly prior to completion of work to ensure springs we're right tension and that garage door settings were good to go.  + -1 moreAmazing! We had a lot of work done to our house so the old garage door had to be removed first, then install the new door and opener another day. Our contractor said that he would do the work that needed to be complete on a certain day but failed to do so. I had to call and reschedule with Sears several times and each time they were friendly and did not seem annoyed at the inconvenience. Mo, the salesman, was very polite and informative. Armando, the installer, was so friendly and meticulous.

They were either gonna fix it one time and come back and charge me again or fix it this one time and come back as long as I wanted, 3 or 4 years. I know he had to come back again because he didn't do it right the first time. They came back the next and fixed it. We were kinda freaking out because we were stuck in our garage and I couldn't go to work and they needed to get over there and fix it. It hasn't gave us any problem since. It was the same tech. They did there job.
Description of Work: They ended up upgrading us and then they sold us some package for maintenance.

 + -1 moreThey were great. They came out, inspected my door. They were able to actually tell me the problem without having to do any labor. So that was really nice of them. They were upfront. I used a coupon through Angie's list. They were able to able to show my the issue without charge because it was simple. They came in, checked the door out. Saw it was a simple fix with the laser. The beam that controls the door from closing. It was just slightly out of line so they were able to fix from what the original builder had done. I like how they were able to be honest and upfront. They came out very punctual and friendly.

 + -1 moreWe went with Sears instead for our garage door service. There was a bent track on an overhead garage door. They were here February 5th of 2017. I don't remember the exact cost, I remember it was reasonable. It was an initial visit and then a return so it took about three hours, maybe two hours. He described the problem with very little add on, just fixed it, he didn't try to sell anything.

James was the technician who came exactly when they said he would, and he was very professional. He knew immediately what the problem was and fixed the door in about an hour. They arrived quickly and started to work on the door. The tech was friendly and walked me through the job and what it entailed. He was done after about an hour and made all necessary adjustments to make sure it worked correctly. Would hire again.
