Based on Contractor referral, I visited Sara Appliance's showroom on I-10. I was having a complete kitchen demolition and rebuild, and suggested I go to Sara's Appliances, and that I would get a good deal. I needed a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. I did not see what I wanted on display, and finally was able to talk to Mohammed after waiting approximately 20 - 30 min. My conversation with him took approximately 2 min. He said he could give me a good deal on Bosch. Mohammed was very busy and had other customers waiting for him. I realized I would have to do my own research on what I wanted because I wasn't going to get any specifications from him. He is just there to sell. I searched the internet, read reviews, pricing, and performance on all the appliances I was looking for. I went to other stores to look at the models I was interested in. After my research, I sent Mohammed at Sara's Appliances an email asking him for pricing on the specific models I selected. Comparatively, his pricing was lower than what I could get at other stores (e.g. Sears, Best Buy, Conn's). He was also very quick to respond to my email requests. I took the Sara's Appliances deal. I decided I needed a new washer and dryer. Mine are located very close to the kitchen area. After my experience described above, I again did the research, and I knew that email was the best way to communicate, and always made sure to copy the contractor because that's when you get the results. His pricing on the washer and dryer I selected was $100.00 over on each item compared to other stores. Needless to say, I went with Best Buy. I then needed a vent hood. The Contractor suggested that I could get a good vent hood for around $800.00. I again researched vent hoods, and sent Mohammed my specifications. He responded back immediately with a list of brands that he carries. The one I selected was not one of them, which was ok, but I got the vent hood I purchased for about 1/2 of the $800.00 the contractor estimated. Delivery went wrong. Appliances were supposed were delivered 4 days late. Construction was put on hold waiting for the appliances. The day they were supposed to get here, they "missed the truck". On the day they did get delivered, they didn't get to my home until later afternoon. Too late for the Contractors to install them, until the next day. Bottom line: Do your own research and know what you want before you contact Sara's Appliances. All you need to use them for is comparative pricing and shipping. Don't expect any assistance on helping you select the appliances that are right for you. They don't appear to have time to spend on a lot of talk-through. My experience was using my contractor for pricing. I don't know what the pricing would have been for the big ticket items if I had not been associated with a Contractor. I did ask about the warranties on the appliances and was told I would have to go through the manufacturers for the warranties if I wanted them. Sara's Appliances does not deal with the additional warranties.

Went into the store to see what brands they had and how their prices were. I'm building a house and getting all new high end appliances. No other customers in the store but me. Looked like they had a large selection. Salesman started following me around. I'm sorry, but it irks me when sales people hover right behind you. Told him I would prefer he not follow me around. He said if I didn't like it I could leave. I said, "do you want me to leave." He said, "yes." I left. Won't be back.

Bought both a microwave and oven and they sold it and installed it. They were on time with the dilivery and we're very happy with it.

From start to finish this was a positive experience. I had done my research and had a good idea of what I wanted and Mohammed helped in narrowing my choices. There were several double wall ovens that I was considering. Mohammed explained some features and differences, a price was agreed upon and delivery date set. On delivery day, as promised I received a call with an approximate time frame. The installer showed up during that time...was quick, efficient and careful and that was it! Couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Replaced our clothes washer. We were out of town and had to take care of the replacement long distance. Mohammed recommended a quality GE washer and took care of removal of the old washer and installation of the new one. Arrived at the promised time and performed a quality job. Used Sara before and would highly recommend them for good prices and service.
