San Carlos Landscaping

The existing plantings like ferns and magnolia that were nondescript are now flourishing along with the azaleas, hibiscus and camellias installed by Mr. Quintanilla. It appears the plants seem to like him - even the vinca annuals keep coming back just like they are perennials, and I'm not telling them! He is very responsive to additional requests and in short order presents his plan and estimate for fulfilling the request. I have been very satisfied with his work.

I contacted the lawn service to request an estimate for lawn work during the winter months. My phone call was returned on Thursday, 10/24/13. The gentleman I spoke with said he would be here the next day, Friday, 10/25/13, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. He didn't speak English very well and requested that I text him my address, which I did, and included my phone number as well. I have family moving to town and was helping them unload their goods, but I was home by 9:30 to make sure I was there when Quintanilla Landscaping arrived. I stayed home from 9:30 a.m. till 11 a.m. and he NEVER DID SHOW UP, and DIDN'T CALL, either. That is the epitome of rudeness and inconsideration - totally unprofessional and really unacceptable. I not only would never use this company (if they can't keep a 'simple' appointment, how would they be at keeping lawn work appointments?), I would not recommend this company to anyone else. What a shame - they would have had a good customer. Hopefully other people I contact from Angie's list will be more professional..........

They've done mulching and priming. He will be doing some planting of shrubs and trees. I've been using their services for six months and I found out about them through neighbors. He is very dependable and knowledgeable about grass, plants and trees; which is kind of a treat. So far he's just been very excellent. This morning, they clean some gutters and did some tree trimming. They also did maintenance of the ditches out in front.
