+ -1 moreRoyce Builders built our home in a timely manner. They did a great job of listening to our opinion and made suggestions based upon our thoughts. They gave us exactly what we wanted. There was a few minor problems however they came out right away and took care of them. They are always willing to work with you and they are very professional. They did a great job.
Description of Work: They built our 2300 square foot spec home for us.

+ -1 moreVERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ROYCE TO ANYONE.
Description of Work: WE PURCHASED OUR HOME FROM ROYCE BUILDERS/TEXAS COLONIAL (A DIVISION OF ROYCE) IN EARLY 2003. THE MATERIALS USED TO BUILD THE HOUSE (IT IS A NEW HOUSE) ARE THE LOWEST END OF QUALITY. THE DEVELOPER OF THE LAND HAS CREATED A HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND REFUSES TO ALLOW THE HOMEOWNERS ANY PARTICIPATION. THE HOMESTAR PROGRAM IS VERY POOR. THIS PROGRAM IS SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT WE WERE NEVER ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN WE FINALLY DID GET SOMEONE TO COME OUT, THE WORK PERFORMED WAS MINIMAL AND WE WERE TOLD TO DO THE INSPECTION OF THE HOME OURSELVES. WE WERE DECEIVED ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT PLANS OF THE LAND, AS WELL AS BUSINESS PRACTICES FROM THE VERY START OF OUR HOME BUYING PROCESS.
