Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Description of Work: They roto-rootered our main sewer line. It went fine.

Description of Work: They could not provide 24/7 service and then canceled the next day at the last minute. It was then too late to get another plumber in for that day. Our water was turned off in our house through this whole waiting period.

Description of Work: I tried to use them when I had a pipe burst and needed it fix and my water turned back on. Unfortunately, all I got was a call about every 2 hours stating they would be there and given a new time frame. After waiting 8 hours, I called another plunber who was there in 20 minutes.

Description of Work: Our kitchen sink became clogged after breakfast on Sunday morning. I worked with it until about 1PM and decided to call Roto Rooter Plumbing. They said they would have a plumber out to me before 5:30PM. A dispatcher called me about 3PM to advise that they would not be able to make the 5:30 ETA and I hung up with the impression that it would be shortly after 5:30. No one called again and I finally called about 6PM to be told it could be as late as 8PM. I also had trouble communicating with the Dispatcher. Sounded like he had a headset on that had weak batteries (I could only get every other word). I informed him of this and he made no effort to correct the problem (like pick up the handset!). Very frustrated, I hung up and waited until about 8:30 when I called again. I was then told that a plumber was on the way, but by that time I did not want a plumber working in my house till all hours, so I cancelled! I told the Dispatcher how unhappy I was and they apologized but never offered to try and make things right! I wasted a Sunday waiting on them and never resolved the problem. I now have to take off a day from work! I would have been perfectly happy if they would have told me at 1PM when I called or 3PM that they could not handle it. The biggest issue was them not checking back with me to give me updates! I ALWAYS HAD TO CALL THEM! Do not use Roto Rooter!

Description of Work: Freddy, came out right away. He was a true professional, in his trade. He explained what he was doing, and what would never work, ( junk poured down the drain). In short he did a great job. I hope to see him again some day, but not at the side of my home!!! Sincerely, Andrew Francis III
