Description of Work: They installed a new roof. They told me exactly what to expect, and they delivered on what they said they would do. No surprises. Excellent job.

Description of Work: Rose Roofing Inc is a good company to work with. The managers are very nice, professional and patient to the customers. I am still evaluating between RRI and other companies in re-roofing my house. I strongly believe that RRI will do an excellent job for everyone.

Description of Work: They were punctual and did a good job installing our roof vents. However, they left a lot of debris, including nails in our driveway. I had to clean up after them which is something I should not need to do. Overall, they did good work but I would make sure they cleaned up after themselves if I were to hire them again.

Description of Work: We had roof and siding repairs, primarily from squirrel damage. Even though it was a small project, Rose people treated us like it was their only project and were punctual and professional on both the estimate and work completed. My wife has "fired" most of the people who have worked for her including me.......very demanding. Yet she had nothing but praise for Rose and their staff. Will definitely use again for any similar work.

Description of Work: I chose Rose Roofing as one of the top-rated companies listed here to call for the obligatory three estimates for leaking roof repair. It took three hours for the office personnel to call back and report that this company does not service Montgomery Co. I would suggest that: 1. the owner update his ad on Angie's List, as it clearly states Montgomery as one of the service areas. The ad does state "portions of" several counties listed but I would assume south Montgomery would be included. Apparently not. 2. the owner educate his staff on the above. Perhaps it would be best to include zip codes serviced so as not to confuse. My initial frustration at having to contact new contractors for estimates (leaking roof x several days, previous contractor did not properly repair the problem and could not be reached) is increased because now I have to wait another day for a reply from yet another contractor.

Description of Work: Mr. Rose was professional & offered detailed info when informing me that he does not replace roofs for those of us who live in Texas Windstorm Insurance Agency (TWIA) territory, coastal areas.

Description of Work: Rose Roofing was recommended to me by a neighbor who had a roof put on by Rose 19 years ago, and it is still holding up. I also found them as a preferred provider on Angie's List. I requested an estimate, and Ken Rose and his son came out promptly and measured my roof, and that very day I received a quote in the mail. They were very nice and explained the system they used (OC) and exactly how the work was going to be performed. I decided to go forward with this company and a date was set up. I was told in advance about the procedure and how long it would take. I was also told it would be best for me to take my dogs and leave for the day because it would be very noisy. I did leave at 7:30 am just as some shingles were being dropped on my driveway, and I returned at 5:30. The new roof was on and all the debris was gone except for a few small pieces of the felt from the old roof here and there .Unfortunately, because I was not here, I can't give any details about how things were done. I gave them an A on everything except the price. In April of this year I had gotten a bid from another provider who was also an Angie's list preferred provider, but as I was not on Angies list at the time, I did not know he was on it. This roofer told me prices were going up, but I was not able to go ahead with the work at that time. Then, with the summer being so intensely hot, I did not want any work done up there untill fall. I called back and requested a new bid in early October and after several phone calls and no response. I decided to go with Rose. The first provider gave me a price of $4,000 in April but never gave me an updated bid. I am aware that prices had gone up with rising petroleum costs as well as shortages in roofing materials due to numerous tornado activity in the midwest and east coast areas. The first supplier used GAF Elk shingles and Rose used Owns Corning Duration shingles, both comparable systems, and although there is a significant price difference, I don't want to say Rose was much more expensive because I don't know how the price escalation impacted the situation. Since I can't honestly say for sure, I gave them a grade of N/A because I simply don't know. A roof is a long term investment and I was satisfied with the work and that was the most important to me. I also felt this was a good company with good, professional people I could depend upon and who would be there for me in the next 19 years as they were for my neighbor.
