For nearly 20 years Renaissance Windows & Doors has been Houston, and the surrounding areas first choice for residential window and door replacement products and installation. Our windows and doors are manufactured by the most trusted brands in the industry like Marvin, Marvin Infinity, Sierra Pacific, Jeld-Wen, and ProVia to name just a few. Whether you are looking for wood, fiberglass, bronze, aluminum clad, or vinyl windows we have an option for you. Our process is simple. One of our in home consultants will come out to meet with you and go over your options. Once you’ve made your selections we’ll have your product custom made and ready for installation by one of our Installation Masters Certified Installers. Every product we sell comes with a manufacturer warranty, and as an added value Renaissance also provides a warranty on each and every install. I'm glad you are pleased with the quality of work that we did. I am sorry that you don't feel that your purchase was worth the value of your new windows. We never make claims that your electricity bills we be lower. It has been proven through engineers and testing that the fiberglass windows that you purchased are twice as energy efficient than the single pane wood windows that you originally had in your home. There are many factors that go into your electric bill. Some exterior surfaces are more efficient than others, the temperature you keep your thermostat on, how often the doors open throughout the day, the efficiency of your A/C unit, just to name a few. You have probably noticed that the rooms in your home are more comfortable since installing the new windows. You probably are not experiencing drafts like you did before and the house is probably much quieter than before. We did apply your discount, but it is not our policy to continue to discount the job after the contract has been signed. I know you wanted to negotiate the price after the job was installed. As for your warranty, it is transferrable for the time remaining on the warranty - it is one of the best in the industry. We are always here for you. Description of Work: Took out four big front windows and replaced with their high quality Marvin windows. They were very professional. Not the cheapest (also not the most expensive quote-Andersn most exp). Windows and install are great- we got what we paid for and will use again.

Description of Work: I had four 3x6 pane windows installed on the west side of the house. The original windows were cheap builder's grade and didn't block much heat or light. The new ones are much higher quality and the difference is noticeable, but it cost me a few bucks! Renaissance was the only one of three companies I called that was able to provide the colors I wanted (not sure why that's so difficult...). The manufacturer sent the wrong size window but it took some time to figure that out because the measurements were not that far off. (This was not the fault of Renaissance). So after several hours on the job, they had to put the old windows back in and try again. The next time it went much better. Minor complaints: they tracked in grease that stained the carpet, but they cleaned up most of it (some is still showing). They also put a couple of dents in the drywall under one of the windows. I will need to do a little paint touch-up. They were professional and polite. They knew what they were doing and handled the measurement problem well. I'm happy with the windows and the service.

I was very cautious because it was a big job. They were expensive but they were very good and they used a very good product. They were very thorough with the job and with explaining the price. They were kind of high with the price in the beginning but were flexible. We have 10 windows on the second floor facing the east that I intend to replace. It is a $35000 job, and I would probably use them for that. I would recommend them very highly.
Description of Work: We had 10 ft. windows in the front of the house that were rotting out, and I used Renaissance Windows & Doors to replace all the windows.

They were very professional. They kept their appointments and always showed up on time. They sold us a very good quality, superior product. They had a show room that we were able to go look and see what the windows looked like before they were installed. I felt their price was very reasonable for the quality windows we received. The windows were large and it wasn't an easy installation, but they were able to handle everything very carefully.

We put Anderson thermo pane windows in every room in our house. Renaissance came out, measured the windows, and made them to fit. When the windows were ready, they came back and took the old windows out and replaced them with the new top quality windows. The men were very efficient. We replaced 14 regular size windows and one large 8 foot bow window, and they had everything done perfectly in one week.

THE FELLOW WHO GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE SHOWED UP EXACTLY ON TIME AND WAS MOST INFORMATIVE. THEY MEASURED AND ORDERED THE WINDOWS. WHEN THE WINDOWS CAME IN, THE INSTALLATION WAS GREAT. I HAD NO HESITATION LEAVING THE INSTALLER IN MY HOME. HE SEEMED VERY HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. HE WAS VERY KIND TO ME. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE INSTALLATION AND ALL OF THEIR SERVICE. I LOVE MY NEW WINDOWS. I THINK THEY LOOK TERRIFIC. THEIR PRICE WAS MOST REASONABLE.
