Rain Mizer

Rain Mizer was one of 3 companies that came out and provided a quote. My husband was pleasantly surprised that the person to provide a quote was a woman...not that that should make a difference either way; but, it is unusual in that line of work to see a woman talk about gutters. Again, a pleasant surprise! Our initial project was to add gutters to the front of the garage; however, I wanted an analysis of the existing system and wanted to know what the cost would be to complete the existing system. First, all 3 companies spotted the fact that the existing system was installed by amateurs due to the fact no gutter joints were used, among other things. Rain Mizer was the only company that included changing out all incorrect down spouts to include the joint. "It is the right thing to do" is what we were told. Their quote came in under the other two bids. Once we decided to go with Rain Mizer we were told that installation would be approximately 3 weeks out, which was fine. The company stayed in contact via phones and email so we were kept informed of date changes or times. The team that installed the gutters were very professional and easy to talk to. The gutter joints were recently added on 4/9/13. The reason for the delay was to make sure we were comfortable with the chosen color when the remaining gutters were installed. The color we picked matched pretty close but since we had no details about the existing gutters from the previous homeowners, we weren't sure about the chosen color. At any rate, the color was a 98% match, close enough for us to say "yes" to adding the joints. Again, the technician that came out was polite and friendly. Our overall experience with Rain Mizer was great and give a thumbs up for recommending them!

We found Rain MIzer on Angies list. Called them up. Theresa scheduled a time to come out and give us an estimate. She arrived as promised on time. Gave us an estimate. Nice professional and pleasant to deal with. We called and agreed to the work to be done. They installers arrived at the scheduled time and date. They were very professional and pleasant. Installed the gutters which were done very nicely great color match and excellant installation. We will use them again

I called Rainmizer to arrange a visit so that we could have an estimate of how much it would cost to replace our gutters..There is a big oak in our front yard and a big pecan in the back yard, and the type of gutters that Rainmizer installs should need much less attention than the old ones. When Theresa came--on time, and very pleasant--she gave us 3 quotes, one covering what I had requested and 2 others that included additional work that would make the installation more complete. Having read reviews of Rainmizer at Angie's List I was comfortable relying on Theresa's expertise, so we went with the estimate that added gutters where there were none as well as replacing the old ones. We were able to schedule the installation on a day my husband could be home, and everything went very well. Of course there hasn't been much rain lately but I feel sure that we have improved the house and saved ourselves from trouble down the road.

Rain Mizer put in gutters for us a little under a year ago. I noticed that one part of the gutter would drip after a rain. I called and Theresa made arrangements for the guys to come out when they were in our neighborhood. Always nice as usual, they came and put up a big ladder to give a look. That part of the gutter is directly under a tree and there were a lot of leaves up there that had been there for so long that they were basically mulch. They swept it all out, even the stuff on the roof around it, and didn't even charge us! They're awesome!

They replaced cutters on our walk-way and added cutters on the back of our garage. The original day that they were suppose to do the work was stormy, so they called and rescheduled for Sat. They showed up on time and were very professional. The original estimate did not specify that we wanted gutters on the back of the garage, so they replaced the gutters on the front of the garage. When we pointed out the error, they were very apologetic and nice and said they would come back and add the gutters on the back at no charge. They they added the gutters the following week. I would recommend that you go over the work to be done with the crew that shows up to do the actual work and don't just assume that they are interpreting the estimate drawing correctly. They were very present, honest and professional. I would highly recommend them!

It went great. I checked out companies on Angie's list and called Rain Mizer because they had such high ratings. I spoke with Theresa and she was very professional and informative and scheduled a time to come out and do an estimate. I asked her to do two estimates - one for just the front and back and one for gutters on the whole house. She answered all my questions and gave me a written estimate for both ways with the 10% Angie's list discount. I researched the Senox brand on line that Rain Mizer uses and it has good ratings for quality. Rain Mizer gave me a great written warranty - 50 years on materials and 15 years on installation! Theresa was very professional, answered all my questions and was not at all high pressure (which I intensely dislike). I told her that I would get back with her after I got another quote. Rain Mizer's estimate was in line with the other estimate I got from another Angie's list company - actually a little cheaper and Rain Mizer provided more downspouts and the cement splash blocks which the other company did not provide. The installation went perfectly. David, Theresa's brother, and his helper arrived promptly at 8 AM as scheduled and were finished in about two hours. I asked David if he would mind changing the light bulb for me in my front porch light since it had burned out and he had a tall ladder, and he very graciously took off the cover, let me wash out all the bugs, and then put in the new light bulb and replaced the cover for me. I really appreciated his doing that for me! It rained shortly after they left - so I got an immediate test drive. The gutters worked well and have continued to do so in the 6 months since. I was extremely pleased with Rain Mizer from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone and use them again - but I don't expect to need them, at least on my current house!

Rain Mizer did an excellent job. Theresa was very helpful in explaining the options available and addressing my concerns in the design for channeling the water flow. The installation technicians arrived on time and completed the work on schedule.

Teresa was prompt, courteous and efficient about responding to our request for a quote. When we selected RainMizer to do the work they were able to schedule a date within a week. Crew showed up at our house at the appointed time, we walked through the job to assure we all understood what was to be done, and they proceeded to get the work done quickly and efficiently. Could not be any easier and more satisfactory.

I had several bids, and although Theresa's bid was a bit more, her knowledge sold me. She explained why they use the mesh that they do - and one of her workers later also explained the process they went through over a period of time getting to the kind of meshing that they currently use. Very professional, informative, punctual - all of the things you'd expect from a professionally run business. I highly recommend.

I called Rain Mizer. They came out, gave me an estimate and we set an appointment. At the appointment time they were here and ready to install. Everything was as quoted, done professionally, and quickly. They cleaned up thoroughly and everything was left in perfect order. They were polite, explained what they did, and handled themselves in a completely professional manner. It could not have gone better. The office called about an hour after the completion of the job to make sure I was happy. I am.

Rain Mizer did a great job. I submitted my request for a quote using Angie's list and Theresa contacted me the next morning to schedule an appointment. I was out of town and asked her to call me the follwing week to schedule a visit. She called as requested and came out the following Saturday even though I was her only appointment and it was raining. She examined the whole house and noted the issues I was having and recommended the solution. Her solution was similar to the other quotes I received so I was confident that she nailed the solution. The quote was over 25% less than any other quote I received and she promptly answered a number of questions I asked the following week. I decided to go with Rain Mizer as they are a family owned local company and I was comfortable that I would be takem care of properly. David came out a few days after I asked them to get started to remove the old gutters and examine for any damage to the eaves. None was found so they scheduled to install the new gutters a few days later. They arrived mid morning as promised and completed the job in the early afternoon. Great cleanup and the gutters look wonderful. Thank you so much for the excellent work.

Called Rain Mizer and spoke to Theresa who soon after setup a meeting time and date which was convenient for me. She emailed me with the date and time as a confirmation. Rodney came out to my house to meet me and after inspecting the house he gave his professional recommendations on how to address my concerns with the rain coming off the house. He drew up a sketch and after some calculation gave me a very fair proposal on the spot. I called Theresa when I chose to go with Rain Mizer and she promptly setup a time for Rain Mizer to come out for the installation. The installation occurred during a work day while no one was home. When I came home that day I could not tell that anyone had been there except for the gutters installed in the back yard. Look great and perform really well.

I called Rain Mizers after I got an outrageous estimate from another company. Theresa came out, measured the roof area that need gutters and gave me an estimate on the spot. I had the option of no leaf guards or with leaf guards. I chose the no leaf guards since I was in the process of selling the house, plus there were really no trees overhanging the house to dump leaves into. The price she gave me was 5 times lower than the first company! I had to get HOA approval first since it was improving the outside of the house, so she left me a brochure with the color options so I could get approval. It takes about a month for those sorts of things, but the color I chose matched the outside of the house exactly, so there was no problem with the HOA. When the appointed day came, 2 men from Rain Mizers showed up in their truck with nice signage and in about 2 or 3 hours (i forget) I had brand new gutters. They look amazing, they're seamless, and the price can't be beat. Geez, for what I saved from the first company I could hire someone for the next 20 years to clean gutters and still be money ahead. Would definitely use them in the future.

Theresa prepared an estimate for our gutter and flashing installation promptly. After reviewing other bids, we chose Rain Mizer due to all the great reviews on Angie's List and their warranties. Project started early in morning and all was finished that evening; we have a 5300 sq ft home so a lot of gutters and flashing! No problems, they look beautiful. There were a couple of changes we decided upon after installation was complete and Rain Mizer came back out immediately and completed those changes and we are very satisfied with their workmanship, attitude and promptness. Definitely recommend this company to others.

We needed to have a new guttering system installed in the front of our house as our old 4inch gutters were not handling the water flow coming off the roof and new caport. Additionally, a new covered deck area was added to the back yard and we found we also needed guttering along the back of the house to handle the water flow over the new deck. I had three different companies come out and chose Rain Mizer due to the Rodney's great knowledge on his systems and how they worked. He listened in detail to the issues we were having and then went about drawing out plans on what he thought would be the best solution. He presented me with two different options, of which we chose one where we increased our gutter width to 6in gutter with appropriate downspots. The date was sent, Rodney and his crew showed up on time and Rodney went into detail with the installers exactly what we wanted done. Extra brackets were needed and Rodney immediately left to get them. The installers were professional, polite and cleaned up all the old guttering when completed. The job was seamless. We then waited for the rain so we could see how they worked. In Jan I decided after watching several hard rains that we needed to change the direction of a couple of downspouts and add some extensions to others to move the water further out in the yard. Additionally we decided we needed to add a leaf guard. I called Rain Mizer back, Rodney promptly returned my call and set up an appointment to meet and discuss the new changes. After discussing the issues, I have a new appointment set up to modify the downspout directions, place extenders where needed and put a leaf guard screen on the front gutters for a very resonable price. I am very happy with the service and will use them again if needed and recommend them to anyone needing new gutters or gutter repair. They are very easy to work with.

Theresa came out to the house and walked around and asked questions and drew out the drainage plan and gave us the estimate. The cost was very reasonable. We agreed to the work and made an appointment for installation. The crew showed up exactly on time and were very friendly and professional. They spent the morning putting the gutters up and installing the awesome curved screens on the gutters to keep the leaves out. They have worked great...no leaves and no acorns either! The crew left later in the day.Theresa emailed us the next morning to check and see if we liked them and were happy with the installation. This is a great family owned business. I would highly recommend them.

The installation went smoothly and fast. I am very happy with the matching color, quality, and speed at which it was done.

I contacted RainMizer in March of 2012. Theresa came to my home and took measurements and made some recommendations. She promptly provided me with an estimate and 3 options that were available. She suggested a color that was not my selection, but I'm very happy that I picked the color Theresa suggested (instead of the color that I picked). Due to family issues and being out of town, I did not contact Theresa again until December 2012 regarding my gutters. She had my file at her fingertips and scheduled my installation within a week. Rodney came to my home and removed the old gutter system and made an assessment of my fascia boards. I followed Rodney's advice, caulked and painted some areas and within 2 days, RainMizer returned to my home and installed my new gutter system. David and his helper arrived on time and installed my gutter system in a professional manner. A section of my gutters was interfering with my motion detector. David temporarily installed the gutters in that section, allowing me to reposition my motion detector. After my motion detector was repositioned, Rodney returned to my home and permanently affixed that section of my gutters. From inception to completion, RainMizer handled my job with professionalism. The entire company was accommodating and reliable. I'm totally pleased with my gutter installation and the mannerism in which my job was handled. RainMizer is a well organized and managed company. Their goal is customer satisfaction. I extend my appreciation to everyone at RainMizer connected with my job. I'm a truly grateful customer.

Theresa did a great job in developing a plan to replace and add guttering to our home. The price was reasonable. All work was performed at the agreed time. The gutters look great and all work was performed in a professional and timely manner. Doing business with Rain Mizer was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them. It's great to do business with a company that wants and appreciates your business.

Theresa arrived at the appointed time to provide a written quotation. We did a walk down of the perimeter of my house. She was very detailed in explaining her product, recommendations, offered options, and answered all of my questions. She pointed out (of which I was not aware of) that the roofer did not install flashing on a portion of the eave on the back of the house. Since they was going to do the gutter installation and flashing was needed, she did not charge for it. Theresa provided the written quotation on the spot. The two installers arrived on time on the scheduled date. They was organized. They measured the areas for installation to ensure accuracy from the sketch on the quotation. One person installed while the other was preparing the gutter sections. The job was completed within 2 hours. No issues occurred. Overall the company representatives was friendly, professional and easy to work with.

Talking to Theresa was great! She was very professional, but also a lot of fun to talk to - it's rare to find that combination these days. Her husband came out and gave me an estimate on having the gutter replaced. I was very impressed with how hard he worked to try and match the existing color of the gutters - like Theresa, he was very professional, but also very pleasant. Since it wasn't a big job (to say the least), we had worked it out that the next time they were in the area, they'd stop by and take care of it. Unfortunately, the day they were to come it rained and we had to reschedule. Even though they were really helping ME out, she felt so bad that they weren't able to make it that day. About a day or two later she contacted me with the new install date. They made it out as scheduled and replaced the gutter quickly. I really appreciate how hard they worked to make sure this got done for me and I will not use anyone else for my gutter work. I just bought a new house so they will probably be hearing from me again and I look forward to doing business with them! A big thank you!!
