Description of Work: The 30/KW Centurion Generac Standby Generator with the Generac 200-amp Load Shed Transfer Switch, purchased through Lowe's and installed by their contractor KHS and signed off by Cleveland's City inspector in Sept 2009, did not conform to their Interpretation of Generac's specs. Although everything was properly done including the upgrade of the gas meter, service twice yearly and less than 65-hrs of ttl usage on the generator, it did not meet the distance of 5' from wall, 5' from AC and 5' from window. However, everything quoted by Crystal was handled accordingly. Service cost of $179.00 would apply if it didn't meet Generac's standards and we chose not to correct issue or issues. We were quoted a $5,000 base fee + possibly additional cost via master electrican & plumber. We chose to pay the 179 and contact Lowe's Corporate office concerning the issue. It just needed a battery!

Description of Work: Installed a home generator system. It took several days to organize pad pouring, gas connection, and electrical connection. System tested and awaiting emergency use. One year service contract included in cost. Extended service contracts and generator operation monitoring is available.

Description of Work: Refused to give me a quote because I would not commit to my wife being availablr for the presentation. She isn't interested and she is recovering from a back injury. The representative on the phone told me if I couldn't gree to having her there that they could not progress with me. Must be nice to have so much business that you can dictateterms to the prospects.
