They showed up right on time (even on a Saturday!). Our door now runs smoothly and quietly.

I had been having problems with the remotes and one wall button not working, and I was concerned that the receivers might have to be replaced. I called Quality Doors when one unit was not responding at all, and if I could have been home, he could have come out on the same day I called. He called during the appropriate time window and showed up promptly at the confirmed time. He assessed the doors, recommended that I replace the remotes, lubricated the hinges, realigned the sensors and checked the receivers. He also replaced a wall button, adjusted the other button and checked everything thoroughly before leaving. He made sure that I understood how to operate the new remotes and went over regular maintenance suggestions that were simple and easy-to-understand. He was very professional. I would use Quality Doors and highly recommend them to anyone having trouble with their garage doors.

It was late evening when I discovered the garage door was broken. I called and spoke to a person immediately, who helped me triage the problem. Other places I called were closed for the evening. He was very honest and patient and helped us determine that since it's a WAYNE DALTON brand garage door, it is best to work directly with their service/dealer, since they will have the parts ready to go. If I ever had another garage door, I would definitely go through him.

On Thursday evening 11/18/11, we went out to the garage to get into the car to go to dinner. Garage door wouldn't open, and turned out one spring had broken. Finally got the door pried open with a crow bar (!) and could lift it to get the car out. Friday morning I searched Angie's List for help on garage door repair and found Quality Door Service which had 114 top ratings. I read a few reviews and decided that is who I must call. I called and spoke to Trish who told me that Bob would give me a call back to schedule. Shortly afterwards, Bob called and said he would be out that afternoon. We asked Bob to go over both the garage doors and he replaced all the 1976 springs, pulleys, and wheels, and inspected the doors and advised us on proper maintenance, and that we need to put a coat of paint on the inside of the wood doors to further maintain them. I am so pleased. The garage doors are operating better than when we bought this house 11 years ago. I am so pleased that Bob came out and fixed everything the same day I called. What a nice guy. It made for a nice Friday evening for me having Bob here to take care of my problem so promptly and professionally. I replied to the Angies deal for a garage door tune up and got a call from Mr. Myers shortly after. We set up a time Monday around lunch time so I could come from work. On Sunday I got a call from Mr. Myers explaining that his truck developed a problem and that he might not be able to arrive at the time scheduled. I appreciate this kind of professionalism, and understand that cars and trucks do not always cooperate! About 2:30 on Monday Mr. Myers called back, was back on the road and offered to come over or reschedule. I came from work and he was already there working. He was almost finished and his assistant showed me how to properly lubricate the door, and to do it twice a year, at Halloween and Tax day, just before it gets cold and just before it gets hot! This lesson was also described on the receipt, along with the type of oil to buy. The door glides like a dream now and he even made it so it touches the floor softly. Before it kind of clunked down. The whole thing took less than half an hour. I am very pleased with the work.

Spring broke on Sunday and I called first thing Monday. They arrived as promised at 10:30 that day and were finished in 1/2 hr. They worked professionally and quickly. The door has never worked so well.

Bob and his partner arrive on time, they go right to work, they finish in about 40 minutes. It was a great experience. Thanks Bob for coming out on such short notice, called Saturday about 7 pm, He came out Sunday at 10 am.

Bob came out less than 24 hours after I called and had the parts needed to complete the job. He was friendly, knowledgable, punctual and very fast! The final cost was actually less than his original estimate!

Angie's list ran a special coupon for a $59.00 garage door tune-up. Since our garage door had been acting up lately (wouldn't close on its own) it seemed like the perfect opportunity so I bought it. When I called they scheduled the service for the same day. Bob and his co-worker showed up promptly and had the actual problem fixed in just a few minutes. They also adjusted the springs since I told them the door seemed heavy and they lubricated all the rollers and springs. Bob talked to me about how to do proper preventative maintenance on the door to prevent future problems and helped me reprogram the exterior remote so that we can finally use it. Called in the early morning, arrived before noon. Problem found and fixed in about 45 minutes. Very down to earth, honest, hard working people to do business with. Words that unfortunately can't be used very often in this day and age of unethical businesses. While other issues were brought to my attention, rusting springs, noisy rollers, there was never any attempt to sell me something just to fatten his bottom line. We decided on a good oiling and left it at that. This is my second positive experience refering to Angie's list before calling someone for a repair. Having two positive experiences, I'm sold on Angie's list being an effective tool in retaining first rate businesses to deal with. I won't hesitate to call Quality Door Service in the future.

I purchased the Big Deal from Quality Door Service for my rental property. They were prompt in getting back to me about scheduling a time for the service and super flexible about my schedule. During the course of the door service they found that the garage door opener was not functioning properly and advised me on repairs as well as the cost of replacing the unit if the cost of repairs and parts was going to be too high. They were prompt, professional and most importantly, polite. I appreciated their honesty and integrity as I live out of state and have to trust others for my rental property repairs. I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them in the future.

My garage door would only go up about a food, but thankfully this happened after our cars were out of the garage. I called Bob on a Monday and he arrived that Thursday with an assistant. He investigated and found out what was wrong with the door and gave me a few options to fix it. Once I'd made my selection, he gave me an estimate of 20 minutes and they got to work. They completed the job within their estimated time and explained to me of how to keep the door properly oiled and maintained. Both gentlemen were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The torsion spring on our garage door broke on Sunday the 9th. I called and spoke to Bob the following morning and he scheduled us that day between 10 & 11 AM. He offered great advice and did not try to upsell anything, he even asked where we saw his services and he mentioned the coupon from Angie's List which saved us money. Total service took less than an hour. Extremely pleased with the overall service. You really could not ask for better treatment from a vendor. A++++++++

I called and talked to Trish and Bob. He tried to save me a service call by asking me a few questions on the phone. We then scheduled a service call two days later. He called on the scheduled time that he was on the way. Indeed he found that it's a simple problem. He also found that the button on the wall did not work. He replaced the button and serviced the door. I asked a few questions about how to have an air conditioned garage. He explained how it can be done and gave me an estimate. The experience was very pleasant and professional.

Bob (owner) and one of his colleagues provided the estimates and completed the installation and maintenance. I interacted with Bob three times and each time he was professional, competent, and prompt. They did an outstanding job and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for garage door installation and/or repair.

The owner is Bob Myers and the work turned out perfect. Their price was low. He came out the day that we had planned and was on time. They worked pretty fast. He had told me that it would take about four hours but was through in about two and a half hours. He told me that I could call him if there any problems but I haven't had any. The doors work just fine and they look beautiful.

The service was great. About a month ago I called Quality Door Service to see if they could repair the existing opener and they fixed the door, but said that the opener had to be replaced. I was not charged for the adjustment made to the door because I was told they "technically did not fix my issue". I was impressed with that honesty and decided to call them again to replace the garage door opener.

They came out the morning after I called about getting my ancient garage door opener repaired. The belt was frayed and stretched out. They were able to find and replace the belt the same day, and also lubricated the garage door railing and the pulleys while they were there. The garage door now opens much more smoothly than it ever had before, and their price was very reasonable. Great company, I would definitely use them again.
