Quality Door Service

I have a 3 car garage with one double door and a single door. The spring broke on the double door side. The single door side wasn't closing unless you held the button the entire time. I called this morning, was called back within 20 minutes. Bob said that he would be here around 11. He was very punctual. He and his co worker put in 2 springs and replaced the rollers. He fixed the other door. He also installed a bar across the single door for extra support. The bar came off of an old garage door so it is an excellent form of recycling. I really like that! They lubricated both doors and instructed me how to maintain my doors. I was very happy with the whole experience and will definitely recommend them.

I called Bob in the late afternoon. He and his helper were out the following morning as promised. He estimated that it would take 30 minutes and the estimate was exact. They not only replaced the springs, but replaced the rollers and lubricated the motor for the garage door opener. The garage door is unbelievably quiet now. Bob provided instructions on how to maintain the door. They did excellent work! I will recommend Quality Door Service to all my friends and neighbors.

He called before coming to make sure we were home and finished in a very timely manner. Great work for a great price. I would highly recommend them!

Bob is an absolutely top shelf individual. I found them in the Angie's List magazine. They showed up when they said they were going to. They were clean and so was their equipment. They worked quickly and everything is working fine.

Bob and his helper came out on time per the appointment for the service. When I told him about the noise which was the reason for the call, he immediately identified the problem which was lack of lubrication on the wheels. Then, he and his helper took care of the problem. Instead of attempting to over sell their service, Bob gave me advice on how I should take care of that myself going forward. That was much appreciated.

Had enough of garage door problems. Made the call, and someone came out that afternoon. Really friendly and very helpful, fixed the problem and showed me some tips to maintain my door. Would defiantly be the first company I would call if I had any more problems

The work was done promptly/efficiently. He came exactly when he said he would. I ended up having to call him out again recently on a Saturday morning because one of our cables broke and he came out within the hour and did the work at a very reasonable price. Thanks so much, Bob!

The gentlemen that came out were very friendly and professional. When I asked about a new garage door, he told me I did not need one and told me the type of oil to use in the hinges to keep the door operative. We need more honest people like these in the business. They are now my go-to guys for any of my garage door needs.

We scheduled to have our garage door opener replaced by another service company. The replacement was a Genie that I'd purchased from Sears, replacing our 13 year old Genie opener. However, he refused to install it after seeing the plastic parts in the new one and left. Since we needed this taken care of on that particular day, I called Bob and explained the situation. He explained the problem with the 'new' Genie openers and recommended we take it back or have it installed by Sears. After talking with him, we decided to return the opener to Sears and have Bob install a Liftmaster unit. He was able to be at our house within a couple of hours and had our new opener installed in an hour or less. Bob was a wonderful guy to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! Very fair price for both the opener and his work, and a $10 discount for being a member of Angie's List!

Bob came out promptly on Monday. I called him late on Saturday. There was no hard sell for anything. He fixed what needed fixing and that was it. I will definitely cal this company when I decide to replace the opener (which is very old)

This Company is just great. Responsive, timely, professional. Put me at ease. "This is solvable." No new opener needed . My opener does have age, but assured me, at this point, it was good.

This is the way all service companies should be. We were so impressed with how fast, efficient and nice Bob (the owner?) was, we had to write our first Angie's list review. Overall comments: - Very knowledgable - Called a few other providers on Angie's list and he was the most affordable. Replaced rollers and torsion spring for less than the price others charged for just replacing spring. - After initial call, came by the house in about 30 minutes. - Finished up the job in about 20 min. Really fast and efficient, but then took the time to explain the job and maintenance - never felt rushed. - Got extra points for accepting credit cards on his iphone :) Definitely recommend.

After a mishap late Monday evening, we need some repair work done. Was able to call and talk to Bob directly on the phone after normal business hours. He scheduled an appointment for the next day with a 2 hour window, arrived within the window and completed the work promptly. I was not sure if we were going to need new tracking, a new section of garage door, or what the costs would be. Ended up less than $100 making us very thankful!

It was a very positive expierence. He got right to work on arrival, worked effiently and quickly. He was informative and helpful.

After being stood up by another Garage Door company from a Google search, I found Quality Door Service on Angie's List. They were available the very next day, but I set it up for 2 days later because of a conflicting appointment. That appointment was cancelled and I called them back first thing in the morning the day they were originally available and they were actually able to make it that same day! I was given a window from10am-12pm and the service team actually showed up at 10:15--how often does that happen?!--so I was able to go on with the rest of my day. Their flexibility and punctuality was very refreshing. Two service members greeted me with smiling faces and warm professionalism, so I felt more like a neighbor than just a customer. There was no expensive trip fee like other companies. I ended up not needing a repair, but they still lubricated both doors for me complimentary. I feel like their name reflects their level of service excellence--"quality". I will definitely use this company in the future and refer others to them. I felt compelled to write a review because in this world of being just a number, this company deserves recognition and the blessing of consumers knowing their name. We needed a repair for our garage door and started looking for recommendations from friends/neighbors. A couple of people gave me names of companies they had used in the past, but when I researched online reviews of those companies, they were pretty spotty (some good, some really bad). I had considered using Angie's List in the past, but had never tried it, so this seemed to be the time to give it a try. I am so glad we did! Quality Door Service stood way out above all the others and I can add to that A+++ recommendation. I placed a call and was promised a return call within the hour by the owner. I did receive a call and explained what I thought was wrong with the door. The repairman was at my door less than 4 hours later, exactly as promised. The work was done quickly and we couldn't be happier with the service. Our garage door is much quieter than it was previously, and goes up and down very smoothly. This is how businesses should be run!
