I needed to replace a door opener, so I called several places. Bob came out the same day I called and was able to install the new opener the same day. Wonderful customer service!

Due to it's age, I expected to have to replace the entire unit, however after inspection, Bob said it only needed to be repaired. Gear replacement and roller replacement was all that was required. He had the proper gears & rollers on his truck and proceded with the repair. As he worked on the unit, his assistant replaced all of the door rollers and lubricated the spring, chain and roller tracks. After performing all of the services Bob instructed me on the proper way to lubricate the system and informed me that it should be done every 6 months. He also told me what product to use (Liquid Wrench Spray Oil). Bob saved me a lot of money and the opener is quieter than it has ever been. Bob's integrity, professionalism performance and pricing is second to none. Anyone within his service area should call him concerning any garage door issues. I feel sure you will be as happy as I am.

My garage door spring broke with a loud crash shortly after I returned home and closed the door late in the afternoon of January 23, 2013. I was surprised when I disengaged the door opener linkage and I couldn't manually lift the door so my car was trapped in the garage. Fortunately, I am retired and my wife's car was out of the garage so no imminent transportation crisis. Bob Myers had replaced the rollers and lubricated my door system last March so I immediately called him. He could not come to my house until Saturday morning but, based on my earlier experience, I decided to wait for him. Bob called at 9:00 AM Saturday and said he would be at my house in about 30 minutes which is what he had told me Wednesday evening. He arrived as expected and said he would replace the single spring with dual springs as used to be standard. He said the door weighs 200 lbs and few people could have lifted it manually without the aid of the spring. He and his helper completed the work in about 20 minutes and lubricated all moving parts. He then operated the door manually and using the opener to demonstrate it traveled smoothly. Because I am an Angie's List member, Bob gave me a 10% discount which I had not expected so I was very pleased with the price as well. My garage door opener is original with the house (10 yrs old) so I plan to call Bob again when that needs replacing.

Called in the morning and was given an appointment for later in the afternoon. Guys showed up early and were done in 40 minutes. Excellent! This was a great experience and makes my Angie's List membership worthwhile!

My garage door spring broke and slammed shut so hard that it crinkled the top of the door, as though someone had rammed a heavy board into the top of the door inward toward the inside of the garage. There was a 6" gap in the door and the metal was bending. Quality Door Service came within a day of me calling. They were right on schedule. The technician said he could not fix it and that I would need a new door, which would cost at least $1200. He and his partner very kindly got the door open for me so that I could get my cars out. He did not want to charge me for the service at all because he said he could not fix the door and he did not put in new doors. I insisted on paying him for his time and trouble in helping me get my cars out because I could not have done it without him. He referred me to another garage door guy who actually fixed the door to my liking and did not have to replace it. I was disappointed that the Quality Door guy could not fix it.

We purchased a house and we were told by the previous owners and the inspector that we needed a new door opener and another issues. Bob showed up, took a look, and wanted to try a few things. He fix the door from hitting the header on the way up by changing a wheel location. He was able to get the "broken garage door opener" working by splicing the eye wires back together. He was honest about the service, he was quick and did a great job. I will definitely have him back out for future work if needed.

Bob is awesome!! I highly recommend him, and will definitely call him again if I ever need garage door help in the future. It's so wonderful when you find a trustworthy,reasonably priced, and friendly repair company, and Bob's Quality Doors is all of that!

I love Angie's list because i find great service like this! I had damaged my garage many years ago because I was trying to open the garage door that my husband had locked for some reason. It had an increasingly larger crack at the top, and then recently it looked like the whole garage was going to fall down. Bob came and put a brace on my garage, oil and greased, and popped my wheel back on the tracks. I thought that I needed to buy an entire new garage door, but he was able to do everything in less than 15 minutes. i'm very satisfied!

Shawn & Terry were the two techs who showed up on time and did the removal and install. Since I was selling the house, the old opener could not be upgraded with the latest safety feature of an object blocking the door (such as a child). It took them about 90 minutes to do the whole job and adjust everything to working condition. Even gave me a $10 Angieslist discount. They did a great job overall.

My garage door decided it no longer wanted to close. The garage door opener had come off its track and was disconnected from the garage door. I got it put back together and connected the door to the opener and the door would not close it would begin to and stop. My experience with garage door openers is zero so I tried the process of elimination and then decided to look up a manual online. My model is a little older but I reviewed the manuals online and was still lost. So I got on Angie's list and looked up garage door repairs. I looked for the A rating and seen that Quality doors had the highest amount of customer reviews and all great reviews. I did not hesitate to call the next day. I left my information with a delightful woman and she informed me she would have Bob call me back. Within minutes Bob called me back and I explained to him what my issue was and he asked me a few questions and then he asked me if I had made an adjustment to the opener yet. I had not because I was not aware of the switch he was talking about. He said he would be in the area the next day and he would come by and take a look at it no problem. When I got home I made the adjustment Bob had mentioned and low and behold she's working again like a champ. I was extremely happy with the fact that this gentleman could have taken advantage of the situation, not have said a word come out to my house and charged me whatever he wanted too and I would of payed it but he did not. It is very rare to find someone that is willing to help you troubleshoot over the phone and really truly try to help you. Bob did that for me and I am very great full for that. I have saved his information in my phone and will refer his services to anyone who is looking for a repair man. Had two remotes that hadn't been used in eight years. They programmed them and installed batteries. They also lubricated our garage door and told us what to buy to do it in the future. Really nice guys. Can see why they have so many favorable reviews.

When I found out that Quality was running an Angie's List special I checked out the reviews on the company. The reviews were consistently excellent. A day and half later they arrived to fix the broken spring on my garage door. The work was described thoroughly and an estimate was provided. I gave the go ahead to begin work immediately and in less than 30 minutes all of the required work was completed in a professional manner. The door sounds like it is brand new and works smoothly. I would definitely use this company again

I was in a hurry and opened my garage door quickly and was unable to let it down again. After the hubby attempted to fix it, it went from bad to worse. I had Sears come out to look at it and was told that a repair would be close to $600 and they suggested the door be replaced altogether for a cost of over $1000. I decided to get a second opinion so I joined Angie's List. I saw great reviews for Quality Door Service and decided to call them out. I called before 8am on Saturday morning and the owner himself answered. I told him about my problem and the Sears estimate. He couldn't believe that a repair estimate would be $600. The service team was at my home before noon. They literally fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. They replaced the springs, rollers, replaced 1 vertical track and repaired the other. They even serviced my second garage door and all for just a fraction of the cost quoted by Sears. The garage door was as good as new!!!! They also pointed out to me that the chlorine being stored in the garage for the pool was causing corrosion and causing a problem with metal rusting throughout the entire garage. So I've moved the chlorine out of the garage. Thanks Quality Door Service!!! You have been most helpful!!!

INTEGRITY. That is the word I would associate with this company. Our beloved friend is in the process of moving to a nursing home and called in a bit of a panic to see if my husband could fix her garage door, which had just broken. It was a broken spring - more than he could handle, so I told her we'd look on Angie's List for a contractor. QUALITY DOOR was one of the companies I passed on to her. She just called me to say that they were "THE NICEST people I think I've ever dealt with". She called on a Saturday morning and asked the price to replace one spring. Bob told her they always replace both springs, but she explained that she'd already sold the house and needed to keep the cost at a minimum. He understood and agreed to replace one spring, and quoted her a price. The service man Shawn, arrived almost right away. He told her they were thinking she had a two-car garage and that's what Bob's quote was for. Since it was a one-car garage, though, he said he would replace both springs for the price that Bob had quoted. He quickly did the job, but when he hooked it up to the opener, it wouldn't close all the way. He tried to make a few adjustments and tried to open and close it again, but smoke started coming out of the opener. Shawn explained he had to make it to another appointment, but would be back right away and he was. He told her that the springs he had installed were just too strong, so he replaced them, replaced the motor and charged her $115. She is thrilled and said it operates as smooth as silk - better than it ever has. We are so grateful to Quality Door for looking after our dear friend and her best interests. I would definitely recommend them.

Nobody wants to have things breakdown OR to deal with a repair guy on a holliday..... but this was as painless as it could have been. I felt like I got a great deal and that it was fixed right.

They came out to see why our garage door would not go down sometimes. After checking the wiring, they discovered that it had not been properly installed. Problem fixed!
