They came out and inspected the problem and gave me my options with associated costs, one of which was to buy a new opener. They explained that I could call Chamberlain and order a replacement belt and that it still might be in warranty even though the system is 12 years old. They wrote down the part number and I called Chamberlain and they sent a replacement belt at no charge. I was totally shocked. I called Quality Door Service back to install, they came out and installed it very quickly, and I asked them to replace the rollers which they did. They reviewed their work and that was that. The workers were very knowledgeable and helpful!

Bob either answers calls or returns them in a timely fashion. He is there when he says he'll be. He gets the work done quickly. Very nice if you have a busy schedule.

When I realized the spring was broken I was able to have them come out in about 2 hours after calling on a Saturday! Speedy, professional, and courteous service.

The craftsman arrived on time and ready to work. They analyzed the situation and provided an estimate of the additional work that would be needed to repair doors. I was pleased with the work, quality and professionalism of the crew. In addition, I received an angie's list discount of 10% without asking for it. It was fine. There was no additional charge and were incredibly speedy. They called me probably within a couple of hours after purchasing the certificate. I was stunned. They left a message on my machine just a couple hours later and I was just really happy. I tried to do this thing alone, but it gets so complicated and I just didn't have the time. They were really good and I would use them again for sure. They could have tried to sell me something, but he said, "You don't need a new opener, it's fine." They called on the certificate pretty quickly and I keep trying to remember if I'd sent an email to them that I wanted to schedule something and they called me within hours and then they scheduled the appointment the next day. When they said they would be here, they were here.

Awesome! Was done way before expectations. Everyone was professional and courteous. The work was first class and the service even better! In and out in about 1/2 hour.

The business owner and assistant arrived at the appointed time and went straight to work removing the old garage door rollers and replacing them with new ones. He tested the spring and made suggestions and lubricated the areas of the garage door to take out the squecking sounds. They were at the garage for approximately 20 - 25 minutes.

The whole experience went great. Shawn and Mason did a terrific job. They were on time and had everything they needed to do the job right the first time. I would highly recomend Quality Door Service to anyone with a need of garage door service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they did a great job. They did just fine and I did not have a scheduling issue with them.

Shawn advised me that wheels that roll in the track were old and worn out. The door was starting to bing on one side until the door was crooked enough to pop the wire off the pulley. Thats when the door completely fell half way down and was hanging side ways. He informed me about some better wheels with teflon would be the way to go. I agreed and told him to do. He had all the wheel replaced and the door aligned and working great in no time. The door is like new again. Shawn actually showed up earlier than the appointment time. Thats almost unheard of when your waiting for service. The price was way less than I thought it was going to be. Cant say enough about Shawn and this company. I will never use anyone else.

Arrived 10 min early. Diagnosed problem. Had components to fix problem. Finished job in less than one hour. Reminded me of the discount from using Angie's List. Provided advice for keeping door working properly.

They were good and I would call them back again. The price was right, they came out and did what they are supposed to do.

Saturday, June 15,2013, our garage door came off the rails and the cable was off the spool. We called quality door service in the evening about 5pm and the provider said could be at our home at 7am Sunday Morming (Father's Day)... He was at our home as promised at 7am sharp. He examined the door and explained the problem to my husband and told him what he was doing to fix the problem. He fixed everything very well and we are happy. Thank you. Robersons

I have seldom, if ever, been so overwhelmed by such great service. There is a reason why Quality Door Service is so highly rated! The torsion spring on my garage door busted leaving me unable to open my garage door. I chose QDS because of their great rating and called them first thing in the morning on a Saturday. They were able to arrive within 30 minutes of my call. When the technician arrived, I told him the reason for the call was the failed torsion springs, but that the door also had other, previous damage which caused the door panel to become detached from the side rail. He offered to reattach the panel at no additional cost. After making quick work of the spring replacement, he raised the door and realized the door was more damaged than he originally thought and did not think the damage could be repaired. I was disappointed, but the springs were replaced and my door was opening again so I was satisfied. Bob wasn't! After the technician reported the issue to Bob (the owner of QDS), Bob himself came to my home and helped the technician complete the repair of the damaged door! Now that's service! After the repair, they gave me a walk through of preventive maintenance tips to keep my door in top condition. Quality Door Service went well beyond my expectations. They were prompt, professional, and provided quality service. Above all, they were not satisfied until they left my door completely repaired and performing like new, even though I only hired them to perform the torsion spring replacement.

WOW. I purchased the garage door tune up using an Angie's List special. I purchased it at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon, Bob called me 15 min. later to schedule the service for Saturday at noon. He arrived at noon and performed the service. He was GREAT. he explained everything and even offered up tips and tricks to keeping the door in shape. What really surprised me the most was he did not try to up sale items or services. I really appreciated that aspect. I Highly recommend this company for all your garage door needs. Bob was Great.

He got my garage door open and working. He told me what I needed to do to maintain it and left some product there for me to maintain it. He tried out the garage door opener and told me I needed a new one. He basically just got it so we could open and close the garage. He showed up on time and was a good guy.

Bob was prompt and proficient. After speaking with him the day before, I knew he was the right man for the job. Bob knows his business very well. Since I purchased this house my garage door has never worked so well. He replaced the spring and installed new rollers. He greased everything, and told me what to buy to maintain correct operation of the door. This garage door is 30+ years old, and since he worked on it, should last another 30. Best money I've spent on home improvement in a long time.

My home inspector report indicated that my springs needed to be replaced. I put it off for a little while till a couple of days back when the door did not go down the whole way. I thought it was the springs and called this company. I left a message and Bob called me right back. When I asked if I should buy the whole package (rollers,springs and tune up), he suggested that I should wait till they check it out. Shawn came out the very next morning and told me the springs looked fine and that it was just a missing bolt. He fixed the door, lubricated all moving parts and showed me how to do it myself on Tax Day and Halloween as he put it :) As an additional bonus he even programmed the car to open the garage doors. I was only charged the service fee. It is so refreshing to come across such ethical businesses. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Perfectly. We have a garage door that was installed by previous owner across the back of a carport, in other words, not a normal application. It wasn't opening. Showed up the next day at the time that was convenient to us and got it working again. Always courteous this is the fourth time or so we have used him. Always has what he needs, parts, tools, etc. with him so it can be done in one trip. Very happy all around.

My garage door malfunctioned during a current remodel. My remodel crew tried to fix it but couldn't and decided the springs were bad. I purchased the $99 tune-up and in my scheduling email said my springs needed replacement. Bob and his helper showed up early and by they time they called me (I was at my house) had diagnosed the problem and fixed. It wasn't the springs but the cable because in making room for the crew, some items placed in the corners interfered with the cable. They wanted to refund my money. To me, they did what I wanted: showed up promptly & properly diagnosed and fixed the problem, so I declined the refund. They then oil my hinges and track and tested the door. Unhappy with the sound it made going up, greased the track and re-tensioned the springs. Extra points for honesty in service and then doing more than they had to. Not only that, but they a spray and oiling schedule for my garage door. If you are looking for a great, honest repair, Quality Door should be your pick!

Contacted Bob on Memorial Day to schedule an appointment. He contacted me right away and even gave me some tips over the phone for possible self help solutions to fix the door. That was really impressive. Scheduled appointment and he did a great job. I would definitely use him again in the future.
