Yesterday afternoon the tension spring on our garage door broke. I found Quality Door Service on Angie's List and my wife called this morning. She spoke with Bob and he dispatched Shawn to our home. He arrived promptly on time, performed the necessary repairs and, actually, improved the performance of the door, by replacing the single tension spring with two smaller ones. He also lubricated the hardware, replaced the rollers and advised my wife on routine maintenance and things to look for in the future. We were very pleased with the quick response, the professionalism and the fact he didn't try to sell us something else. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone with garage door problems.

The tension spring on one of our garage doors broke over the weekend and we could not get the door open. Fortunately, we were out of the house when it happened so our car was not stuck inside the garage. On Monday morning about 7:45, I went on Angie's List and looked for providers who had any deals active for garage door repair. Quality Door Service did - $200 to replace the spring, all rollers, and a door and opener "tune-up." As I have two garage doors and figured that the other door's tension spring would probalby break soon too, I bought two of the deals. Within 30 minutes, QDS called me and told me they could be out between 11 am and 1 pm that same day, and would call me 30 minutes out. At 11:45 am, I got a call and they were on their way. They did the work in a professional and efficient manner, and were friendly and courteous throughout. We might have been able to save a few bucks with another provider, but all the other positive ratings from other Angie's members plus the swift response sold us on QDS. My garage doors now run smoothly, more quietly than before, and I feel safer knowing that I won't get locked in by a broken tension spring. All in all, a first class experience. I recommend these guys.

It was excellent. The man that came out spent a lot of time working on the garage door, making sure that everything was right. He did what he said and a little more. He took the time to show me everything and explain everything to me thoroughly.

Bob was very responsive. He honored the coupon, even though expired. His guys game out and did the work this time (my second time I used him, the first time Bob and a helper did the work). The work they do is the best. I ended up upgrading as I also needed springs replaced for a different overhead door. You will not be disappointed if you call for them to repair your door.

David showed up on time and got the things arranged. He did an excellent job installing the garage door opener and explained how it works. Our builder installed the safety sensors too close to the door. David improvised and quickly came up with an idea on how to handle the issue. Overall happy with the installation.

It seems like there are quite a few highly rated companies to choose from in this category for garage doors and openers. Quality Door Service is the first one that I called, and I felt no need to call any others after I spoke with them. I called on Saturday, they offered to come do my install on the next day, which was Sunday, at a cost of $350, everything included, which I thought was a very attractive deal. They came out, made short work of it, and it was done. It's all working quietly, and beautifully. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

They showed up early and replaced the 1 coil with 2 stronger coils. They also did a complete maintenance on the door.

Bob took the call and scheduled a visit according to my availability. Bob and his assistant were prompt in arriving to the appointment. After examining the door, Bob provided a quote. The job was done quickly and for the price quoted. I am very happy with the result. The door now opens easily and quietly. He also left me instructions on how to care for it and prevent problems in the future. I am very happy and highly recommend Quality Door Service to anyone needing installation or repair.

I have used this company before and was very pleased with them so I gave them a call Saturday evening after 5 pm to schedule an appointment. Shawn took my call and asked if he could come out the next day which was a Sunday to fix the door. I asked if I would be charged extra for a Sunday visit and he said there was no extra charge. We scheduled the appointment between 9 and 10 for Sunday. They called 30 minutes prior to tell me they were on the way and they arrived exactly when they said would. They fixed the door and oiled the rest of the unit for me without me even asking. I am thrilled with their service and professionalism and will only call this company for any repairs I need to my door.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service Bob, and the other man who came with him, gave us. He came out the very day I called for help within 5 hours. He is a swell guy along with, I think he was Bob's brother (if they're not blood brothers, they are spiritual brothers). He explained everything about the problem and the remedy needed. Great service and will be the only one I ever call for door issues.

An appointment for the repair was made on the same day I contacted the company. The 2-man crew arrived promptly, and as quickly assessed the problem and made recommendations for repair. Since I had learned of the company through Angie's list, a discount was offered by the crew; I did not have to ask for one. The repair plan was straight-forward and reasonably priced. There was no pressure to repair non-essential components, replace the garage door opener, etc. The repairman discussed the various parts of the door mechanism, how I could keep them maintained, what components might need work down the road. I elected to replace some of the other components based on that discussion, but the crew reiterated that these additional repairs were optional and the current system could continue working for some time. The work was completed quickly, the area was cleaned up afterwards, and I also received a short training session on the system, keypad, etc. The entire experience was handled professionally and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a garage door repaired.

This the second time I've used Quality Door, and I was completely satisfied. He was on time, worked quickly, and answered all my questions about caulking and painting the new section. He also checked the weatherstripping I had bought and said it was the best to use.

Bob was awesome! Showed up the next day on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced my old garage door opener that was on it's last leg. He programmed both of my cars Homelink and then even gave me a tutorial on the cool features of the new garage door opener. Super nice, highly recommend him!

Real smooth from Angies List

I called them in the morning and they were here by 3:30 pm. The door is temperamental and doesn't always slip of roller. It wasn't slipping while he was here so he couldn't fix what he couldn't see, but he did service it, greasing it, etc. He however saw that the other door needed hinge changed out. He did that free of charge. We have used them before and would use them again. They are very competent.

I wasn't sure if my current opener was in need or repair or ready to be tossed. Mr. Bob was very responsive by phone and as I work quite a distance from my home, his crew was most accommodating in meeting my work schedule. His crew actually got to my house before I did and waited for me to arrive. My opener it turned out was about 15 years old and was not fixable. His crew completed the work and mad necessary adjustments to ensure that I was happy with the new opener.

My remote was working haphazdly and he solderd a part back on in the motor which had come loose. It has been working perfectly ever since! Even though my system was over 10 years old ,he let me know it seemed in very good condition. Also he replaced a spring which had popped off from the track which is the reason I called in the first place.

It was good. He was very thorough. He explained how I could maintain it. The service itself was excellent. My garage door was very loud and it needed some oil and maintenance. After they came, it became considerably smoother. He gave me little cans with the stuff that I was going to need in the future and he didn’t charge me for that. He didn’t charge me extra to fix the garage opener with the car. The job was very well done.
