Quality Door Service

Bob came over and found that the belt had worn out on the opener so I went to Sears and picked up a new one. He then made a second trip out to install it plus he installed a second light in the motor to increase the light in the garage when the garage door opener was activated. He did all this - two trips & the work - and only charged me $89. I've used Bob for a long time and you won't find anyone who does it better or fairer.

The garage door needed minor repairs and the worker performed it quickly. We had no further problems with the door but would have used them again I we did.

These guys are great! They came when they said they would. They fixed my garage door in under a half-hour. It runs very quietly now. They also showed me what I needed to do for garage door maintenance, when it should be done, what to use and where to buy it. I'm really thrilled with the service and would absolutely recommend this company.

He made me feel so confident in his ability that I was brave enough to confess my ignorance about garage door upkeep. He patiently answered all of my questions. You know that relief you feel when you finally find a company that you know you will rely on from that moment on? This is it!

It was professional. It was very quick. They showed pride in their work and in the final result. Also pointed out that rust in garage door springs was due to chlorine stored in garage.

Had called Bob last winter when having trouble with the door closing in cold weather. He told me via phone how to adjust my unit at no charge & said to call him back if that didn't solve the problem (it did). This year, I had him come out and properly service the unit himself & also replace the rollers. Same day service and he was in & out in 30 min; the door is like new again. A small family business full of integrity & professionalism. Highly recommend.

Bob came and he fixed my problem in record time. He was punctual and kind. He gave me the fact and took care of replacing my rollers and doing some maintenance work that greatly reduced the noise output of my garage door. Garage door broke on Saturday. Called Quality Door Service on Sunday. Scheduled an appointment for Monday. They arrived before the appointment time, assessed the needs, and had the door repaired within 30 minutes. Very pleasant experience. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

He was a very nice guy, I just felt the work was a bit shoddy, although my garage is 50+ years old! He did his best.

Simple. They installed it. Now you can go anywhere without your keys and you can put things in the garage for friends to grab and you can still have the inside alarm on. Makes life really easy. Pretty slick.

They replaced this spring on my garage door and gave it an overall tune up. Very nice gentlemen and very prompt response time.

The garage door panel was sagging. Quality Door Service was very responsive to my phone call. They are flexible to schedule a time with me during weekend. They had an steel bar installed and it fixed the problem.

Quickly came by to diagnose problem and solution. Found a solution that saved me money. Performed the repair within a couple days and showed me how to maintain garage door properly. Great service.

After discussing the situation, faults and plans for my double sized garage door, including possible replacement, Sean informed me that they are not doing whole door replacements right now. Apparently, the repair business on doors is keeping them busy fulltime. But, nonetheless, Sean spent a good amount of time with me discussing options and showing me things about my door system that could be dramatically improved with just a little lubricant in the right places. He got a lubricant spray from his truck and treated all of the spots where friction, dryness and just plain age had taken their toll on smooth operation. After improving my door's performance several hundred percent and after spending his valuable time making suggestions as to what I should do next, I was barely able to convince him to take any money at all for his time and advice. There is no question in my mind that if I decide to go down the tune-up and repair path, Sean and his company will be my contractor.

They did a good job they knew what they were doing.

I hired them on a anew construction home because the builder quoted $700+ for two garage door openers. That didn't seem right to me so I looked on Angies List and found Bob. He answered the phone personally, asked me a few questions about the home and my wants, gave me a recommendation and quoted a price. They were on time, completed the work in the amount of time they said they would, and did a great job. They were polite and professional.

Note from Bernard Eckford Currently our door will not roll up. Seems if its stuck. Not sure what's the problem. I believe we have A Wayne Dalton door. Quality Door Service 9/12/2013: Our company information explains that we do not work on Wayne Dalton Doors, they are the only company that does their stuff their own way. Everyone else is standard parts. As far as repairing, it sounds like you have a broken spring? You need to get a refund from Angie's List and have a company give you a free estimate before you buy anything else. This could be a costly repair, so I would contact a Wayne Dalton Dealer. Bob and Terry came on Thursday to give me an estimate of the work to be done. They quickly determined what was necessary, gave me an estimate, and said they could do the work the following day. We agreed to that. The following day they arrived at the expected time and did the work as they indicated they would. They answered all of my questions and gave me additional information on the opener remote and the lock on the garage door. I would not hesitate at all to recommend them to anyone needing garage door work. Bob is obviously very knowledgeable in this field. I am very satisfied with my experience with them.
