Quality Door Service

This was a rip-off. I had to pay before they provided any service. When the two men arrived, they looked at my garage doors and said they could not service them because they did not work on this type of door. They did lubricate the rollers with spray lubricant but I could (and have) done that myself regularly. I will not use this service again. I am now suspicious of these dicounted service plans offered by Angies list.

He repaired my garage door in the past, he did let me know he could have replaced it then, but I went for the repair. He then came back 3 months later and he replaced a total of three garage doors for me. He was great. I felt like the price was fair. He came prepared, which I did not even know exactly what needed to be done. I could not be happier with the new motors. I would recommend him!

Changed the rollers on our garage door along with the spring. Oiled the rollers as well.

Bob was on time and very fast with getting the work done. He ran into an issue with the garage door weather strip, and worked extra hard to get the right part and make sure everything was repaired correctly. I was very pleased with his determination to find the parts that we needed, and he made sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. The final product looks great!

We manually open the garage door sometimes to put the trash out and one night the door came off the tracks on one side. I was worried we'd have to replace the whole thing but these guys came out and fixed it all in about 30min. They were quick and knew exactly what they were doing. They tossed in new rollers that would be quieter so we wouldn't have to manually open anymore. We could not be more pleased.

Our less-than-one-year old Genie had stopped working. They came out, took a look and explained that if we wanted to keep that opener, it would mean a call to Genie to get them to replace it under warranty. They did not charge us for that visit. We decided to replace with a belt driver opener that they recommended, so we scheduled with them to come back out. They were prompt; did everything they said they would. We were very pleased and will use them in the future.

They were prompt, friendly, and very professional. Gave me instruction on future maintenance. Great deal!

My garage door would not close by remote.The opener was less than 1 year old. I had purchased an extended warranty, but Chamberlain said they would tell me what to do to fix it myself rather than send me a replacement part. I don't remember what I paid, but I remember it was reasonable.

I called Quality Door Service on Saturday at 5:30 pm after my garage door wasn't able to open. I had looked around at other companies, but they were already closed and didn't work on Sundays. I told Bob I saw them on Angie's List and he even mentioned the deal they currently had on torsion spring and roller replacement for $200 (originally $250). I was able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. Two men showed up during the scheduled time slot and they were able to replace the original one broken spring from the home manufacturer with 2 new springs and rollers within 30 mins. They were very helpful with telling me how to maintain the equipment and informed me of the 1 year warranty. The garage also opens more quietly than before. I'm very happy with this company.

I don’t recall any issues making the initial contact with them after we made the purchase. They were very good and professional. They actually did our third bay for no additional cost. I believe that they are a family owned company. They are very nice and knowledgeable. They replaced certain items with better quality items. He explained that if there were any issues or problems with any of the things he installed to call him and he would come back. Everything has been great! We would highly recommend them to others. Next time we need servicing, we will be calling them for the work.

They arrived late as I believe they said someone called in sick or something that day. The service was performed as advertised.

Excellent service. Bob & crew came out same day and were both prompt & professional. Our 11 year old door/opener was beginning to have issues when the outside temp dropped below about 60. Bob came by and immediately diagnosed a dying starter. Replaced it in short order and the door was working like new again within the hour. This is the 2nd time I've used them and I cannot say enough about his knowledge, professionalism or integrity. I highly recommend his team for anyone with garage door problems.

In advance of the service I indicated that both doors were working but that one was going up crooked. I pointed this out to the two technicans and said that was what I wanted fixed. They ended up telling me that I had one spring stronger than the others. They recommended replacing the one spring but did not have the correct size. So, the suggested repair was to replace both springs at $99 per spring for a total of $198. That would have been $198 above and beyond the $99. Needless to say, I did not have the work done. My advice would be to pick one of the other $49 dollar garage door deals since this one is massively over-priced and unlikely to fix your problem. I will say they were very punctual and polite. They were there a total of 20 minutes.

I had a spring replaced on my garage just over a year ago by National Garage Door Inc. and after one year my garage door locked up again and came off the tracks. I called the original company and they said "the spring is only covered for one year and we are one month past the year". They wanted to charge me a $55 trip fee just to come look at it and $99 minimum to even do any work on it and it would be 3 days before they could get out to see me. I quickly told them what they could do with their business model and jumped onto Angieslist.com and started looking for garage repair companies and that is where I found Quality Door Services. I called Quality Door Services and reached Bob, the owner, and explained my situation to him and he said he could have someone out in a couple of hours. The repair person Shawn called before arriving and once he showed up he took time to discuss his assessment and my options. Once he was well in to the repair there were a few other pieces of my garage door that were damaged and he brought me back out and showed them to me. He explained the problems that these issues could cause and what solutions he could offer. In the end he offered the $200 special advertised on Angielist to cover all the repairs. He did not upsell me at all, rather he laid out a couple of options and I chose the one that would minimize the chances of me having to have repair anytime in the near future. When the work was done he showed me all the parts he removed and walked me through how to properly service my garage door to ensure it holds up well. In the end, it was worth ever dollar and I am willing to refer them to anyone I know who is having any garage issues.

They call me couple of times to make appointment, but because i was so busy with work but they were persistent and we finally came to an agreed time. After they evaluated my garage that was acting up, they fixed it and told me that it is still working but for how long, they cant say. So i told them when the time come to replace it, i would definitely call them.

They did a great job. I plan on using them in the future for a new garage door opener.

He came as soon as I called, looked at my garage door opener, told me that he didn't deal with our particular issue and recommended someone that did. He didn't charge me a nickel. What a great, great guy!

We booked the appointment right after purchasing the deal and they were out within a week or two. I loved working with them. They did a fantastic job. They were very professional, prompt and did exactly what they said they would.

They were great, did the work, despite the chaos of us being in the middle of moving our daughter in the home. They worked around it and got the job done.

I didn't watch them. They were very fast. I thought I had one door motor "going out" as it was making a terrible noise, but they fixed it with their "service" and said it didn't need replacement. I was happy!

They were fine. They did say they would call before coming, and didn't, but it was no big deal.
