+ -1 moreVery professional. Called before coming out. Actually came out 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time which was fine with me. During inspection he noticed the belt on my opener was on it's last leg. Luckily he advised me the belt is covered with a lifetime warranty which I was unaware of. Even gave me instructions on how to replace the belt myself if I desire to. Will definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Preventive maintenance. Adjusted springs, lubed hinges, inspected door and opener.

+ -1 moresean called before arriving to confirm appointment and state his arrival time; he was very professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about all things concerning garage doors/openers; he took the time to educate me and answer all of my questions, as well as teach me how perform future maintenance myself, possibly avoiding another service call. he spent about 10 minutes taking apart my old opener, cleaning and inserting new batteries....all in an attempt to revive it (unsuccessfully, I'm afraid). i will DEFINITELY call again, if i need their services!
Description of Work: oiled all higes, replaced all rollers and instructed me on how to care for hinges in future; also spent time attempting to repair garage door opener. also provided a comprehensive receipt with these instructions clearly stated.

+ -1 moreThe technician showed up exactly on time (which I have found is a VERY rare occurrence!). He was very nice and professional. We had received a quote the previous day of $295 that we thought was outrageous. A friend suggested we join Angie's List so we did and found Quality Door. He took one look at the door, said the $99 special would cover the cost and had the work completed in 45 minutes. The door works better and is quieter than it has ever been in 30 years! I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their garage door.

+ -1 moreOn Friday, August 22, 2014, my garage door would not open completely. I called the provider I had used in the past, but did not receive a callback. I then called Quality Door Service based on their reviews. They came out that afternoon and replaced the t-springs on my door, which had been replaced by my previous garage door repair service, but they had installed springs that were too lightweight for my door. Quality Door Service was professional, explained what needed to be done, and did the repair work to my satisfaction.

They called us the same day to arrange good time to meet for repairs - arrived on time. repairs took less than hour - replacing rollers and making proper adjustments including garage sensor and even made suggestion on items to move out way which might cause problems. Did not try to sell us something we did not need!! - just repair the garage door at the price posted. Only regret is I should have called them 6 month earlier when first had problems:)

+ -1 moreI have two junk cars in my garage that I need to get rid of, but the garage doors are jammed. I bought a Big Deal from Quality Door Service so that I could get the doors fixed. After I purchased the Deal, I was contacted by the company the same day to schedule the service. The guys came out to do the service, but they said that they weren't allowed to fix the doors because the junk cars are in there. I told them that I can't get the junk cars out because the garage doors are stuck, so I'm in a catch-22. Although the company could not help me, they were agreeable with giving me a refund. Hopefully I can use them in the future for another job.

It's quieter now than it has ever been. At the top of the garage door there was a small crack. He moved the garage door opener up to support the door and prevent further cracking. This was above the scope and he did not charge me any extra. Very happy with the service.

I just want to let everyone know that the owner called me to let me know he was giving me a partial refund for the portion of the service that they could not provide. I was not expecting this in any way. I felt that the service performed was at a fair price. This goes to show that this company is a reputable and honest company. A rarity these days. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat. They do what they say they are going to do and a bit more.
Description of Work: i pre-purchased the special that they had for $99.00 for cleaning/maintenance and to include replacing rollers. Unfortunately they were not able to replace the rollers due to the type of door that the builder used. Quality Door was upfront and straight forward with the reason why. I am not sure how much just the maintenance would have cost but sure it would have been about the same price. I was hoping to get a bit of a discount but hey they did an excellent job. And fixed / cleaned and reset my door opener. They also gave me some very helpful tips and hints on the opener. I would used these guys in a heart beat. very responsive and punctual. They called to let me know how far out they were and when they'd be there. They did everything they said they would.
