Quality Door Service

This is my second time to use this company. I called today and they arrived today! They put a sticker in your the garage with their name, phone and date of service for easy reference. Garage door is working well now. Excellent service!

This company provided fantastic service. They came quickly, arriving early, got the work done in less than an hour, price was reasonable.

We called on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., with a broken spring that had us trapped in the house. The service was estimated between 11 - 2.. The technician called at 11:30 said he was 30 minutes away and showed up promptly. Very professional, thorough and polite. Our door was a heavier storm proof door, but they honored the quoted special price. Thank You! ! Excellent Service, quality material and knowledgeable technician.

I had a good experience with this company in the past and called them because the remote on my garage door opener was not working, Over the phone, they guided me through a troubleshooting procedure that resulted in my remote functioning again. They were very courteous, knew exactly what they were doing, and---most importantly---willing to help me over the phone so as to save me a service call. Impressed by their friendliness and integrity. Based on this experience (and my previous experience), I would highly recommend them.

On time. told me we already had fairly new rollers and all I needed was the door to be lubricated and checked. They did what was needed and the job went quickly and smoothly. Very pleasant experience.

It went OK. The door was not completely closing to the ground and now it is. The technician also cleaned out a lot of debris which he thought might be keeping the door from completely closing. The door now opens more quietly and closes a lot more smoothly (prior to maintenance, door closing was very jerky). But what really disappointed me on this experience was a lack of responsiveness that took me by surprise (afterwards). After discussing several options with the technician, I decided to have both doors replaced. Several wooden panels were rotted and needed to be replaced (on both doors) and would require painting, and it made no sense to shell out a substantial amount of money to fix doors that were close to 50 years old. So I nixed having any maintenance work done on the other door. I asked the technician to give me a price quote on double sided insulated steel doors and a new garage door opener. The technician stated he could not quote any pricing without talking to his boss first. I asked that either he or his boss call me back that day with a price quote and he stated that would not be a problem. I never heard back from either one of them. Not hearing back from either one of them just sent me a message that they did not want my business. The technician also told me their company does not install garage doors at all during the summer due to the intense heat. That doesn't make a lot of sense for a company that advertises garage door installations, and this isn't summer. It's only January, for heavens sake. I would have been fine, if just one of them had called me back (as was promised) and told me my request could not be accomodated. Instead, they just blew me off, and that type of behavior is completely inexcusable and unprofessional. There's nothing wrong with the quality of their service, but everything is wrong with their customer follow up and follow through. Needless to say, I went with another vendor who easily and readily accomodated my requests.

They were on time and good to work with. They took about 30 minutes to complete the job. They cleaned up afterwards and didn't leave any mess.

I would use this service provider again in the future.

Our springs broke on our big garage door, so my car was stuck in the garage!! Yikes!! Emailed Quality Door and everything went very well. Very satisfied with the fast response and professional treatment. We would use again for our garage door needs for sure.

Fabulous! Called back right away. Scheduled a time that was good for me. Ended up able to come a couple of hours earlier and checked to see if that was ok. Explained what he needed to do and how much it would cost. He had to do a little more than originally planned - two reinforcements instead of one. He explained why and what the additional cost was - maybe $20 more, I don't remember. Left a sticker in my garage with his name and number so I could call if I had any problem. Service was great!

Bob met my tenants at my rental property, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it, and took my payment over the phone. Second time I have used him and I will continue to do so.

They called before arriving, evaluated the situation, called the office to double check prices and then completed the work including the springs which I didn't request when I called but knew they would need replacing soon.

The spring on our garage door broke over the weekend. I called Bill, the owner, first thing this morning. He sent a crew out right away and we our garage fixed within 2 hours. Great response and service. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again for all of my garage door needs.

The owner came out on time and was extremely helpful He gave us a complete explanation of the assessment of our garage doors issues with noise, incomplete closure and prognosis going forward. He resolved all the problems and gave us a wonderful Angie's list price. We were totally satisfied and will use his services going forward and recommended him already to friends.

Things went well until... Initially when Bob came out, he inspected my garage door and noted the door was a Genie product, and this type of product Bob does not carry or stock their parts. Bob requested that I order the carriage part from Genie, after receiving the part in the mail, I called Bob and he came out and installed it. Everything was completed as needed. Bob asked that I press the garage door wall button to check the operation of the door, the wall remote nor the handheld remote did not operate the door. Bob stated he does not work with the electronics of the door and requested I call a Genie Professional to come out and service this part. I was not charged for the installation of the new part because at the end of the job, the door would not operate, hence the repair was not fixed to customer needs. Quality Door Service was professional and on time each time, they called in advance to confirm their arrival 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. I would consider using them again in the future, however was a bit disappointed that Bob was not able to setup the operation of the electronics.

Very easy to work with. On time and did only what was necessary

My garage door spring shattered into pieces leaving my door in the shut position. I called on New Years Eve not expecting anyone to be able to help today. I spoke with Bob and he said his tech, Sean would be over in 30 minutes. Sean called me fifteen minutes later and was at my house in under 30 minutes. Sean was very courteous, professional, and very informative. Kudos to these guys for a stellar job and the pricing was very fair!! We are going to use these guys to replace our old garage doors in a couple months for sure.

Starting searching Angie's List after one of my doors would not open. After reading all the excellent reviews, I selected QDS. The reviews were spot on! I called on a Monday morning and Bob answered the phone (just like his website said). Told him of the issue and was ready to come that afternoon, but I scheduled for later in the week when I would be home. Service was scheduled for around 8 AM and he stated I would get a call before to let me know they were on their way. Got a call from Shawn around 7:45 and he arrived on time as promised. Within a few minutes Shawn identified the problem (the electric eye was out of alignment) which fixed the problem. While he was there I took advantage of the $99 tune-up special (including new nylon rollers) for two doors. Shawn replaced the rollers, adjusted tension and lubricated the doors within an hour. What a difference. My 9 year old doors are so quiet now. What I especially liked was that they did not try to up sell me by telling me that I needed new springs, chains, etc. Excellent service by QDS. Other service providers - take note!

Everything went as planned. The door was adjusted and lubricated, the rollers were replaced with nylon rollers. Service was on time and efficient!

Bob came out himself with helper. They looked at door and readily told me what the problems were. Fixed in about 20 minutes. All rollers replaced. Cable fixed. Door and rails adjusted. This door is so quiet it is wonderful. Better than new. Bob was really nice and efficient. Yes I will call him again for sure. Linda and George

Great service! Friendly, professional, punctual. All the things I look for in a service company. They honored their Angie's List coupon even though I wasn't even aware there WAS a coupon! In and out in about 20 mins and my door is good to go. I will definitely use this company and recommend them to all my friends.
