Excellent. Prompt, Punctual. Very honest with fair prices. I'm handing his cards to my friends as I feel this company and Bob in particular to be a real find!

We've had issues with the garage door for some time. Bob came over and said we needed a new switch assembly (controls the timing of the door) and that would take care of our problems without having to have a new garage door opener. He also greased the rollers and springs on the garage door. He showed me where one of the panels on the door was starting to crack. He put a brace on the door which enables the door to go up and down smoothly. Now we no longer have the noise we used to have that sounded like a large bump somewhere on the track. Bob said the brace should give us several more years on this garage door before we have to buy a new one. He didn't even charge for the brace. We also got one more garage opener from him. He was promptly here when he said he would be and he was very pleasant to do business with. We now have a sticker with his company name and phone number in the garage. He definitely has our business from now on.

Excellent. Service company was better than on-time, calling to ask if they could come a little early. Also seemed experienced with performance of garage doors in Houston area with weather and humidity. Repair was quick and less costly than anticipated. Service provider also discussed future care of door, and anticipation of future problems due to humidity, spring condition, etc.

They arrived when they said they would, and did excellent quality work. Their prices were reasonable. I was very satisfied.

Bob came right over shortly within an hour after I called his office and he received his page. As usual, I was frantic and in a bind because I needed to go somewhere in my car and the garage door opener was broken. He immediately repaired it, at an extremely reasonable price and was on his way within about thirty minutes. This is the third time I have used Quality Door Service, and every time he has been courteous, professional, knowledgeable and saved me money. He is excellent. The person answering his telephone also was very courteous and helpful in paging him and finding him immediately.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I was in a real bind because I couldn't get my car out of the garage and I needed to leave to go on a trip in a few hours. I called Quality Door and told them I really needed help immediately even if it meant just getting the door up so I could get my car out. I figured they could come back out to repair it later if they didn't have time to fix it. Bob had the whole door repaired within an hour and 15 minutes after I made my call. He gave me the option of living with small dents which were caused by the opener breaking loose or I could call Overhead Door and order a new door. Needless to say, I chose to live with the tiny dents for the low cost of a $130 repair rather than paying for a whole new door. Bob and his assistant really saved the day for me!

The owner Bob Myers came over and did service call within two hours of when I called him. He was very satisfactory.

I called them up, they came out the next day. Bob was very reliable, did an overall check of the doors, made sure the door was balanced, and the price was very fair.

Great! My garage is packed with boxes and Bob made sure he was able to do the job without undue work on my part. He was thorough and complete in making sure the garage doors closed and opened properly and smoothly.

I had a 23 year old garage door opener that had stopped working. Bob still took the time to inspect the old unit to see if he could get it working again. Turned out the clutch was worn down too far to fix, and I decided to have him install a new unit rather than try to replace the clutch (though he offered to look for a new clutch if I wanted to go that route). Bob came back the next day and installed the new unit. He programmed the remotes, mounted the exterior keypad and the wall button, cleaned up everything, and walked me through the procedure of reprogramming the keypad and remotes for future reference. Everything works perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Very highly recommended.

When he was finished with the service call, I mentioned one of my door openers wasn't working. He realized the problem was the battery and he replaced that. He also replaced a switch in the garage door opener on the wall that hadn't worked for years without me asking. He was very thorough.

My door would not open and I went to the list and found Bob. Called and he was able to come the next day, replaced the spring in a short amount of time and was very helpful. A few weeks later, the door was making some noise and I called him to see if he could come and check it out and he came right away and found, that one of the bolts on the door was loose and he tightened it, at no charge. He has a customer for life.

I would certainly give them an A+ for the job. They made it very affordable over a new door. The job was done quickly. The door is working as good as new now. They guarantee their work which is also good.

Returned call promptly and gave me an estimated cost over the phone. Very courteous. Bob arrived and did the job perfectly.

Job 1: Called Quality Door Service on a Saturday around 3 p.m. and was surprised to get an answer. A couple of other companies I called did not answer the phone. Bob said that he would be able to come by the following morning (Sunday) around 10 a.m. Around 9:45 he called me to said that he was a few blocks from my house. He arrived, laid out his tools, and started to work on it immediately - within 25 minutes he and his partner had replaced both springs greased the tracks and springs. What can I say - a true professional at work, showed up when he said he would worked fast and within the budget. On top of that Bob is very knowledgeable. Job 2: Bob came out the same day as called, as he did the last time on another house. Very professional, honest, punctual and reasonably priced. Doesn't get better than that!

Bob arrived on schedule and fixed our door in no time at all. He was friendly and professional and knowledgeable and I wish we had called him in the first place. I don't think we'd be out almost $600.00 for new springs and chain adjustment the other company charged us. I won't worry when the door acts up again because I'll know I can call Bob and won't be overcharged. What a relief!

I got onto Angie's list that morning and by noon, the repairman and his assistant were at my front door. Inside of 20 minutes they had the problem diagnosed and repaired. It was a fairly complex problem as I had tried to repair it myself. A gear was damaged inside the motor and the repairman replaced it with one he had in his inventory.

Quality Door Service answered the phone on the first few rings, and Bob Myer, the service man himself, called me back within a couple of hours, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. No gaping half-day window, just an approximate time and a promise to call me 30 minutes in advance to make sure I could be home when he arrived. Bob came through on his promise, and showed up at the house, and had the work done in less than 30 minutes. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and his price was reasonable. I will call him for any garage door service needs I have in the future.

They found that the door was installed in correctly. This has been an issue for years and they finally fixed. He showed me the work he was going to do, and fixed it. He was polite, on time, and had a good price. He was quick and did good work.

Bob was very responsive and would have come the same day but our schedule would not allow for it. So Bob came the next morning on time and fixed the problem quickly. We were very pleased with Bob and the work he did.

I called and got an answer right away & Bob came later that day. Bob arrived on time & diagnosed a broken coupler. He replaced the coupler in no time, but stuck around to make adjustments to make sure it was not going to happen as easily again. He adjusted the side track which was binding up the door and making the opener work harder, he also added 2 brackets and a new roller to my door where they were missing, and then added oil. After the tune up, Bob tested the door several times to make sure it was running at its best. When asking how much all the extras were, he said there would be no charge. The reason is that Bob keeps spare parts from previous jobs and passes them along to us needy folks! Bob also gave several good maintenance tips. This company is owned and ran by his wife and Bob does the easy work! After seeing the quality of work for a great price you can tell Bob is working to make a living not a huge profit. I will be sure to give him a call for any garage concerns.

The spring on our garage door broke on a Sunday night. We needed to leave in about two hours to pick up our kids from the movies, and we couldn't get our cars out of the garage, the door couldn't be opened manually. We called two companies, but couldn't reach anyone immediately. When we called Quality Door Repair, Bob answered the phone immediately and promised to get someone out to us. Within an hour, the technician (unfortunately I can't remember his name, his initials are D.M.) arrived and repaired the spring. He indicated that the builder had only put one spring on the door, and that two would be best. Despite the fact that he was doing the work at 9 PM on a Sunday night in December, he also suggested adding stabilizers to keep the door from flexing as it goes up. We agreed, and he cheerfully did the extra work and went on his way.

Our garage door suddenly stopped halfway up one day. We called another contractor and they said it would cost $280 to fix the gear. After reading the reviews here we called Bob. He replaced the gear and did full maintenance on our door/opener for only $89 total. Even including the time he spent telling us how to maintain our door and replacing a light bulb for us, it only took 20 minutes and he came that same morning that we called. They returned our original call in minutes and even called when he was going to be a couple of minutes late. One of the best service experiences we have ever had.
