Quality Door Service

It was an excellent experience all the way. He got here ahead of time. He was very professional. He was experienced. He did the work quickly. The price was fair. I had called another company to do the work. His phone was on the answering machine. When I called Quality Door Service, he answered the phone so I used his service. Further, the other company was more expensive.

On time, professional, no issues. Very happy.

The owner of the company came the same day as i called him. He tightened the treads on the slots where the door moves the rollers to go up or down. Apparently the hardware was pulling away for the wall. He also oiled all the moving parts and moved the electric pad for raising the door. He suggested this since it was behind the entry door. He also gave me a 10% discount for Angie's List which he said he was going to start in June.

He came out and gave a quote. He was on time. He was able to set up the door repair within a couple of days. He did a good job at a better price. They guys who came out worked hard and were very efficient. He was very honest with me.

My husband called when I left for a dental appointment and when I returned the garage door was open! He said he was very pleased with everything -- the promptness, the professional manner and complete repair along with advice about how to keep the equipment in good repair.

Very well. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated his suggestion to repair, rather than replace the door. I will use this company again and recommend them without hesitation.

He came out at 9am and was done in 10 minutes!! He just oiled the wheels and springs and did couple of tweaks here and there and presto! The garage door never worked better! It's quieter and it actually goes all the way down, without leaving a gap! So no more rain or critters getting in.. don't remember the last time it closed completely. He even told us how to maintain it. I'm very happy with this company.

I was expecting an estimate and the work to be done later. But he lubricated the door, springs, and track, adjusted the springs, tested the door opener, replaced a part, gave me another part I couldn't locate, and had it working (including the remote). Then told me it was guaranteed for at least 90 days, and told me how to do twice yearly maintenance to keep it working. I was impressed and pleased. I would definitely use this company again.

This is a small rental property. The renter tried to open the automatic door as usual this morning and it came off one track. He then realized a cable had come undone. I called Quality Door at noon, they met me at the house at 2:30 as agreed. Bob told me that the old springs were rusting and should be oiled several times a year (which no one had ever told me in the 20 years and many service calls on this garage door). This may have caused the spring to get in a bind and, thus, the door come off track. He also noticed that the track was bent at the bottom on one side. But he quickly told me that the job would only cost the service fee of $79 and maybe a bit more for a piece of new track if he couldn't straighten out the existing piece. He and his helper got it back on track, made repairs and replace the necessary track within 30 minutes. He didn't try to sell me anything extra, like a whole new track and he did give me advise on taking care of the springs so this wouldn't happen again. Good JOB!

Bob fixed my garage door which required him to replace both springs he oiled the door and now it works great. I am very happy that I picked his company to do the work he is the best. I sure will call on him if I ever have any kind of garage door problems and I will refer him to my friends.

The work was done perfectly, and the new garage door is better than the old, and cost much less than my insurance adjuster estimated. I was surprised to find that the quote included the sales tax. I expected to have to pay $770 for the tax; instead I paid only the original quote for a door with windows of $710.

It went very well. The cable on one side of the door broke. The other side was under extreme pressure and the garage door opener could not open the door. It was a very dangerous situation because if that other cable snapped, it could injure/kill someone. My car was stuck inside the garage. I could not go anywhere so it was important for someone to come over ASAP and address this dangerous as well as inconvenient situation. Bob came right out and fixed it. Now the door opens and closes.

The coil/spring had broken, the garage door couldn't be lifted, and my car was stuck in the garage. Bob arrived at my house within 45 minutes of my phone call, and he repaired the garage door in 20 minutes. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, and explained to me what I needed to do to maintain the door in good working order. What a great find!

It was great. Very professional, on time, and explained my options. Came to replace when I was available, and were very courteous. Made a nice follow up call to make sure everything was okay.

He was prompt, with same day service. He explained the problem, replaced the spring, then showed me how to maintain the door in the future. I would definitely use him again.

Very well. Advised that I didn't need a new door now and that my doors would last for quite a while longer. Advised that I didn't need new garage door openers. Has been in the business for a long time and enjoys his work. Didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

Overall, I am very pleased with this company. The men who came out were very friendly, and offered tips on things I could do to lengthen the life of my garage doors and the opener as well. I feel like the $79.50 I paid for the service call was a really great bargain, given their professionalism and friendliness. I enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door service, and wants to make sure that they deal with honest people.

It was great. He was there on time and was gone in twenty minutes. He showed me how to oil it myself to extend the life of the door in the future.

Two gentlemen came out and repaired the motor right away.

He showed up on time, fixed the door without the wheels on the spot, even though it looked as though it was going to be difficult to fix and only charged $80.00. He also provided advice on replacing the doors--which are 54 years old--and will need to be replaced. Eventually.

Our garage door opener over-shot the stopping point on the rail and jammed itself shut on a Saturday afternoon. The manual release did not work. We actually park our cars in the garage so this was a problem as we had things to do and places to go. Quality Door returned my call within 30 minutes and set up a time for the next morning at 10 a.m. I was grateful that they would come out on the weekend, especially on a Sunday morning. I had already tried another company, but that one did not call me back until Monday morning which was understandable since it was late on a Saturday afternoon. The Quality Door folks arrived promptly and within 15 minutes had the problem sorted out. The door is working better than ever. I was very grateful.

I called in the morning (Monday). They suggested a 2 o'clock appointment. We already had a 2 o'clock appointment with a veterinarian, and then we settled on a 4 PM appointment for them. We were home by 3, and waited until 8 before going to dinner. They never called... that day or since. I will never again call them.

He came out very quickly. He arrived on time to do the work. The quality of his work is good. I would use him in the future. I would recommend him. He was very professional while he was working.

I called Bob that morning, as we had been having the problem intermittently for a few weeks, but the door began to stick every time we tried to open it. He said that he would be in the area that afternoon and could come and check it out. My spouse was home, Bob showed up on time, and he fixed the door quickly. He also gave us advice to better maintain the door in the future.

I called for help with a garage door remote that was not working. The owner, Bob, answered the phone and offered to help me with my problem over the phone free of charge. He definitely laid the groundwork for a future business with me. When something goes really wrong with my garage door I'm calling this company first.
