Quality Door Service

We called Quality Door Service to replace a broken garage door spring and Bob quoted us a price of $175.00 and even though he had to do some additional work he still honored his original quote. His professionalism, work ethic and cheerful attitude were absolutely priceless and we would have gladly paid any additional monies if he would have asked us to; for those qualities alone. He even took the time to show us how to properly maintain the garage door as well as the door springs. We would most certainly use Quality Door Service again and will recommend them to everyone we know.

I had a garage door spring break and I called Quality Door Service. They were flexible on when they could come out and very polite on the phone. They actually were running early and called to make sure it would be acceptable if they arrived early. Not only did they repair all the springs, they also took it upon themselves to correct some mounting and lubricate the system - it's SO QUIET now!! They also warned us about a potential issue with a crack in the metal and added some support. They asked only that we pay for the spring repair. Overall, they came out to repair the springs and provided so much more. I would definitely do business with again!

Provided morning of the following day service. Bob and helper were professional and performed installation in about 2 Hrs., including complete clean - up and providing maintenance tips.

Called on a Sunday afternoon to report that the torsion spring had broken on my garage door. Trish answered the phone, got my number and told me Bob would call me back. About an hour later, Bob called, asked for my address and told me he'd be here in 30 minutes! Once he got here, he and his assistance got right to work and told me they'd be done in 30 minutes. They did great work and even replaced the builder-quality hinges which had snapped (holding the ball bearings in place). Once done Bob tested the door, told me what kind of oil I needed to purchase to maintain everything, and how often to do so. I really appreciated that he did not try to upsell me which so many service providers seem to try and do these days. Bob's knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, honest and friendly service made for a virtually perfect service experience. Plus, his prices are reasonable and he works on Sundays without charging extra -- how can you beat that! I

They were excellent. I know that the guy?s name is Bob. He stays very close to where I live. He was awesome. My garage door had frozen. He came out and evaluated it. He told me that I could replace the entire thing and he told me the cost for the same. He said he could also replace certain parts for me. He gave me the choice, which was really nice. The work cost me $119. He can come out very quickly. He is very professional. He gets back to me very quickly. His quote was exactly what it was going to be. The work was done within a day. I will absolutely use this company again in the future.

We recently moved into a lease house after being a home owner for 10 years. Without thinking I tried to open the garage doors, which had the locks engaged. Unfortunately the opener was strong enough to pull the brace away from the door. I call Quality Door Service, explained the situation and was told that Bob would return my call. Within 30 minutes I heard from Bob, explained the situation and felt confident that he understood my problem fully. The day of my appointment I got a courtesy call from Bob about 30 minutes prior with an explanation of how he planned to fix the problem. The added benefit is he re-braced both doors (I have a double door garage) along the top, so that when he finished both doors looked the same, but neither door looked "worked on". I was anticipating having to replace the door, and was VERY glad with the suggestion and the result. Bob did a very professional job, with a follow up call to explain how things went and some general maintenance tips. Great experience with this company, and would definitely use again if we experience any additional garage door issues.

I called them out to repair my existing double garage door and to install a new key pad and garage door opener motor. Bob came out to give me an estimate, brought all the tools and parts he needed to do the work, and was ready to start immediately if needed. He completed the work perfectly in less than an hour and even gave me advice about the future maintenance and care of the springs. Bob did a great job and I was completely satisfied.

I made an appointment for a garage door tune-up for Wednesday on Monday. Bob told me there was a chance that he would be able to come earlier, on Tuesday, which he did. I can't remember what he initially quoted to me for the door tune up, but I think it was around $80. I ended up paying only $20 because Bob took care of the door quickly, since all it needed was some oil. Great experience, would definitely use again!

My husband backed into our garage door this morning and could only raise it about 3/4 of the way up - not enough to back my car out. I immediately went to Angie's List and called Quality Door Service where I talked to Trisha. She was very nice and told me I would get a call back soon from Bob. In about 5 minutes (or maybe less!) Bob called and said he was in Pearland but could be over in my area around 10-11am. He called on his way over around 10:30 and arrived around 10:45. He looked at the damage and told me he would try to repair the door. As he started working on it he quickly learned that specific tools were required for this door that he did not have (our house is new and this is a builder's garage door). So, he rigged it so we could use it for now, but told me I would need to call the name of the company on the inside of the garage door. As soon as he said it, he quickly asked if he could use my phone. He called the company for me and told them specifically what I needed and asked for a quote. He stayed on the phone WAITING on and off for about 10 minutes. Finally I got the answer for the price and scheduled a time for them to come and fix the garage door. I asked Bob how much I owed him for the work he had done (coming to my house, fixing the door enough to be used for the weekend...) and he wouldn't accept a penny. I asked if I could at least pay for his gas and time - but he wouldn't take anything. It was so nice of him to help me as much as he did - and not ask for anything in return. I know that for any future work I will keep his number handy - I know he'll be honest in what he does. Thank you Bob!!!

My husband interacted with him and said that he was very nice and knowledgeable. He was out here pretty quickly. We were very happy.

I called Quality Door Service at 12pm, and by 2pm my door was fixed. They came within an hour, quickly diagnosed and explained the problem, and fixed it. My doors work great and I learned quite a bit about how the door works and what sort of preventative maintenance I should do to keep the doors working well.

I had a problem with my garage door going up and down normally. Bob came out and actually gave me a tip on my problem that saved me money. He could have charged me for what was told. Bob is a honest and very professional technician. I would no hesitate to call him for any future problems.

Bob and his assistant were prompt, professional and friendly. All the work was done to my satisfaction and Bob checked everything thoroughly. He even agreed to follow me to a second nearby rent house and address my concerns with that opener. I will definitely be calling him again!

Good ole' "Mom & Pop shop" and we will give them our business any day! Professional, punctual and obviously experienced. They got right to work. Door was fixed in no time. Price was right on. We are very pleased and wished we had called them earlier. Will call them again if need be and certainly will pass their name on. Thanks & Good Job.

From the time I first contacted Bob Myers until the job was finished I knew exactly what I was getting, what the cost would be, and what to expect. On the day the work was done they came in to work on schedule ready to go and completed the job in less than 4 hours...removing my old garage doors, tracks and door openers and replacing with the new doors and openers. They did an excellent job installing the doors and also with explaining the operation of the new doors.

We called him at 8:50 pm on Friday 12/10/10. He made an appointment with us for the next day Saturday 12/11/10. He gave us the 10:00 -12:00 am appointment slot and said he would call 30 minutes before arriving. He called us at 10:00 am and arrived before 10:30 am. He worked until 11:30. He did an excellent job, was very through and professional. Quick response time, came on schedule exactly as promised, fair price, great work. We are very pleased.

They did a good job and they came right away. I called them on a Friday and they came on Saturday. They were very flexible and did it quickly. It was a good service. Their price was competitive.
