Pro-Tech Appliance Repair

Not well. Oven stopped heating, they replaced the thermostat which fixed the problem for a few weeks. Then it died again. Turns out the thermostat failed the first time because a cooling fan had died, which they missed the first time around, so I have to pay for two thermostats and multiple service calls. I was polite and friendly the whole time, but the tech was rushed, stressed out and disorganized like he was under a ton of pressure. I don't plan to use them again.

This was done under my warranty. They took forever to get the parts and didn't really communicate.

After having gotten the complete runaround by another service provider assigned by the warranty company, my claim was re-assigned to Pro-Tech. The claim had been outstanding for 3.5 weeks, the company took over a week to get the part, and when they showed up... it was the part for a washing machine instead of a dishwasher. They said they'd expedite the ordering of another part, and more than a week later, they still hadn't come out to repair the situation. The warranty company reassigned the claim mid-day on a Monday, I emailed Pro-Tech with the details of the issue and my dishwasher's identifying information, they had the part in hand by Tuesday, and were out on Wednesday to replace it. Seamless, courteous, efficient service. Much appreciated!
