Powers Remodeling & Fine Floors

It was excellent. The tile work on the shower was very well done. We were extremely happy with the quality, the project just took a little longer than expected.

Do not use Mike West Powers Remodeling. 3 months of ****. Finished the shower without all the materials, and then had to rip it out. We had to buy our own shower floor because he could not get it wholesale. He went through a wall in an adjacent room and would not repair it as it was before. They glued my freestanding pedestal tub to the wall with a gallon of silicone, and then the tub did not drain. Had to rip up the marble floor to repair the plumbing – TWICE!! There is still an 8” hole in my marble floor. Mike had the carpenter install various plumbing fixtures which we’ve now had to call a plumber to fix. Actually had to pay my own plumber to finish the faucets, and other installation issues, on top of the 30K spent with Powers. Had the carpenter re-work electricity, now lights burn out. Wish I could have a do over and not hire this guy. He took every available shortcut and cannot deliver quality craftsmanship. We are left with drawers that don’t open, a sink that doesn’t drain, uneven, loose & broken floor tiles, a tub that moves, wobbly shower glass, and still no light switch for my closet.

The were efficient. They did a good job. Everything looked real nice. The price was really good. They were clean and they cleaned up after themselves. They I was really happy with them.

Mike went above and beyond to make sure that we had quality service, a quality product and competitive pricing. I am very happy with the service and would recommend him to anybody. Thanks, Mike, we appreciate it.
