Peter's Plumbing

The job took about 30 minutes total to replace and repair the slow leaks at three different joints.

I sent a message to Peter's Plumbing from Angie's List at the weekend (Sunday) to ask if he could come to the home and estimate a job to repair a leak at the water meter. The response was immediate and the plumber said he'd call me the following day to get more information about the request as well as my address details. The plumber was true to his word and phoned early on Monday morning to get the information and through another brief message exchange, we agreed that he would come to the home on the Wednesday. As scheduled, the plumber called me on Wednesday to say that he was coming to the home to assess the job. I was at work but because the site of the leak was outside the house, the plumber did not need me onsite to get access to the water meter and we agreed that he would review the job and call me back with an update. True to his word, the plumber called me back (twice actually as the first time I was unavailable) and informed me that the leak was actually situated on my neighbours side of the water meter! He also said that he knocked on the neighbours door to inform them of the leak (which allegedly they knew about!) and left his card in case they needed his services. In summary although I didn't need to have plumbing work done in the end, Peter's Plumbing demonstrated diligence with their follow-ups, trustworthiness by keeping their promises and professionalism with the way they went about their business. The next time I need a plumbing job done, I'll be calling Peter's Plumbing for sure.

It went just great. Peter's Plumbing sent out a very nice plumber named Omar. He was on time for the appointment. He brought in an auger and went right to work. He had the toilet working in just a few minutes. The entire time he was augering, he called me in to watch, and the tenant joined us. As he was working, he explained that the problem was some kind of clog in the toilet and why it was a problem with the toilet itself and not a "broken or off-kilter pipe outside under the building" that the other plumber had given as a reason that the toilet was backing up. He answered all of our questions and only charged me $95.00 for a service call. It was refreshing to find a plumbing company who is honest and upfront. I would definitely call Peter's Plumbing again for any plumbing issues at the retail center as well as my home.

I called Peter on Wednesday and asked him if he could fix a leaky shower faucet. He said he was really busy so asked me to just text him my information so he could look at his schedule. He indicated originally he was really busy and wouldn't be able to stop by until Saturday. A few hours later, he texted me that he would be able to stop by my house that same afternoon because of a cancellation. The repair was quick and whole thing took less than an hour because he had to go to home depot to get the part. He even helped tighten our loose sink faucet on his way out. His price was the best of all the plumbers I called, he seems very knowledgeable of his trade and I was very satisfied with the results.

I originally found this company in a community newsletter, and then checked Angie's List for the ratings. My experience with Angie's List is that if I use a A rated company, that I will not be disappointed--and Peter's Plumbing continued that trend. I managed to make a complete mess of my kitchen drains and Peter's Plumbing promptly came to my rescue. Customer service provided was outstanding and I really can't say enough good things about this company.

Great plumbers, hard working, professional. The guys stayed an extra 45 minutes when I got stuck in traffic for my appointment time. I would recommend them.

this is the second time I have used this company, they always return phone calls and are always on time. fixed a leaking shower and replaced several parts, no complaints. This is the only plumber I will ever use.

I called the number listed, spoke with Pete, after my description of service requested, he provided a quote over the phone. I called 2 other contractors over the course of 4 days then scheduled the work to be done by Peters Plumbing. His lead time was 3 days out, crew arrived on-time and prepared for the project. Everything went well, they were done in about 4 hours. I also liked the fact that updating the ball valves to gate valves was included in the initial quote, no surprises. We are up-to-code and have hot water. I omitted the price because not all houses require the same applications/equipment.

These guys did a great job! Another plumbing company was unwilling to work in a somewhat cramped position and told me that they would have to tear my bathroom apart, including replacing the tub and tile, destroying the cabinets, and removing the toilet to fix the problem. Peter's Plumbing saved me thousands, not to mention untold headaches and damage to my bathroom. Thank you and thanks for being willing to work in a cramped position with one hand!

Great response time. Very punctual and did the work fast. It was a little pricey at $95.00 for 15 minutes work, but it was done right the first time. I guess you get what you pay for. I will use him again!

Peter and his assistant arrived promptly following a phone call to confirm his arrival window. He removed and replaced our kitchen faucet. He cleaned up and took the old hardware with him as well.

I called this company on a Saturday after getting several well rated names from Angies List to try. Our toilet was badly stopped up suddenly, I had just brought my husband home from the hospital and we needed that bathroom to be a working bathroom soon. This small company returned my phone call almost immediately and arrived within a few hours. We had had trouble with this bathroom before (our home was built in 1968) and it turned out they need to remove the toilet and check the line. They found a mass of branches in the line which they removed. Apparently, a nearby tree's roots have broken through the line. They were able to fix the line, replace the toilet and get the bathroom operative again for what I feel was a very reasonable charge. They did tell me the roots would probably break through again at some point and we would have to make a more permanent (and expensive) solution to the problem, but for now, this was exactly what we needed. We were very pleased with this company and will certainly use them again.

When the new gas dryer was delivered to an old house we'd just bought, the delivery team could not install it due to the diameter of the old gas valve being too small for modern connections. I talked to Peter in the morning, and he was there the same day, arriving promptly on time. He took a look at the problem -- an old gas pipe coming into the utility room. Within about 30 minutes, the old pipe was removed, a new valve was installed. and he was done. Nice guy. Knows his stuff. Couldn't ask for more. I'd been quoted an estimate over the phone of between $150-175, but the actual job turned out to be less trouble to fix than he'd expected. As Angie's List customers, he billed us $115, which we appreciated.

Peter arranged an appointment on the same day I called. He called ahead and was there when he said he would be. Finished the job quickly and instructed me on how to fix the problem myself in the future.

He was very prompt. He gave us 2 options to go where one would have saved money, but it would have taken more time. We needed it completed before Christmas as we had company coming in town. They let me know what they needed to do because it did require cutting the wall in the closet. They did what they said they would and only charged the amount quoted on the phone. I would use them again.

Guest bathroom tub was slow draining and the washing machine would back up in tub. They arrived as scheduled and snaked the drain system. Took care to keep work area clean, and had the problem resolved in no time. Honored coupon in ad of the community newspaper. Also provided some helpful information regarding plumbing. No reason to call anyone else.

They fixed the problem and did some maintenance work.

Mr. Bourtros responded to my call within about an hour of me calling him. He repaired my faucet that had been dripping for a long time. He had to go buy a part as there was a broken part inside the faucet. Fixed the drip and performed the work well in a minimum amount of time.

His visit was less than 2 minutes. We had a bunch of water that leaked under the kitchen sink and on the wood floors. He went straight for the faucet and screwed somethings on tighter and now there is no more leaks. No charge.

He was okay. The main reason why I called him was that my base was wet and he said it is not leaking, just dry it out. He was okay, but not exceptional. He was professional and he did all right. He did not go out of the way. I asked him a few questions about my toilet seat being broken, I was like which brand is good and he was I guess shy from giving any advise on that but other than that I did have a drain which he fixed. What I liked about him is that when I would give him a call he would pick up. He was prompt and he showed up on time.
