Description of Work: Our builder did not put insulation in the attic of our new home. they did the job, went above and beyond on the job they did in the attic as well as being extremely careful to not let the hoses rub against walls, furniture, etc downstairs and kept my home very clean during the entire process. Was very impressed, will definitely use in the future and recommend highly to anyone!!!

Description of Work: I have used Payless in the past and did an outstanding job. Sales and implementation wee top notch. I built a new house, 5,000 sq feet and had a horrible builder and subs on HVAC and energy efficiency. The attic is complicated due to meeting of various elements of roof line. The attic is quite large and air flow pathetic exceeding heat-up standards. I called Suzanna at Payless and she immediately came out. She got the plans of the house and crunched numbers. HERE IS WHY I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW: Suzanna was very honest about the options I had given the roof structure and ventilation. She stated that they could, as one option, use spray foam on the underside of roof (in attic), but the cost for such a massive surface area would not hold up to a cost-benefit analysis. As they only provide insulation services, she suggested bring in another energy expert to assess other options. Such honesty is hard to come by these days! Having used Payless in the past with great service and this last interaction, I would HIGHLY recommend Payless Insulation.

Description of Work: PAYLESS INSULATION COMPANY, INSTALLED INSULATION IN MY ATTIC AREA, THERE WAS LITERALLY NONE THERE. THEY APPLIED CELBAR LOOSEFILL INSULATION, 10.6'' OVER 2450 SQ FEET. IT'S BEEN ALMOST 30 DAYS SINCE THE JOB WAS DONE AND THE DIFFERENCE IS VERY NOTICEABLE, MUCH LESS OUTSIDE NOISE, QUIETER, AND I JUST RECEIVED MY ELECTRIC BILL. IT WAS $62.00 LESS THAN LAST MONTH. THE WORK TOOK APPROX. 5 HOURS TO DO, WHICH THEY SAID IT WOULD BE. WHEN IT WAS FINISHED YOU COULDN'T TELL THAT ANYONE HAD BEEN IN THE HOUSE. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

Description of Work: CASEY CAME OUT & PROVIDED US AN ESTIMATE ON INSULATING OUR NEWLY BOUGHT, 1925 HOUSE. SHE RECOGNIZED THE HOUSE & TOLD US THAT HERS WAS THE COMPANY THAT HAD BLOWN IN THE INSULATION INTO THE EXTERIOR WALLS 7 YEARS AGO. SHE WAS ABLE TO CHECK THE RVALUE FOR US. SHE ALSO TOLD US WHAT WE COULD DO, INSULATION WISE, BUT SHE ALSO TOLD US THAT SOME OF IT WAS NOT NECESSARY AT THIS POINT (INSULATING THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOUSE), BUT THAT IF WE DECIDED LATER TO REINSULATE THE ATTIC AT A HIGHER RVALUE, THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO PERFORM THE WORK.
