Payless Insulation

They did a really good job. They called the day before to confirm their appointment, arrived on time, and were very clean. They were extremely courteous and also had me join them during the inspection. Overall, they just did a wonderful job. I wish that all providers were like them.

They were on time, the guy was very professional and knew wha he was saying. He was very good at answering all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about what we wanted to know about. He sat down with us and gave us a quick overview of the product. He even answered a few question that weren't quite related to the insulation, we asked him what he thought about windows. Their quote was a reasonable price and overall the experience was very good. There was nothing negative and we don't have a reason for not using them.

The representative was very keyed into my situation and it's limitations; she presented several different scenarios that made it a win-win for me and the company: I am enjoying the utility bills reflecting the addition of good insulation and they got my business. Within a week of asking Payless to do the work the two workers appeared promptly at the scheduled time. They explained their work process and answered very clearly and patiently any questions and concerns I had . Within the work time span promised by the representative, the Payless office and the workers, the deed was accomplished and all traces of the process was cleaned up. The workers asked me to inspect the work and clean up they had done and answered more questions willingly. Thanks, Payless and Angie's List! After an initial consultation with the company representative a few weeks before, the installation team of 2 technicians showed up on time. They went straight to work getting the blower connected and laying the plastic on the carpets that lead to the 3 attics. I checked in on them and asked questions along the way. The lead tech was very professional and explained everything they were doing. They finished in about 5 hours but I am not exactly sure. I had a couple of questions about the materials being installed and discrepancies with the original proposal. I called the office and they were very prompt to make the corrections and ensure everything was done as promised. I am very happy with the service. The house is much cooler now.

Casey was great to work with - very straightforward and professional. The crew was also courteous and professional and took care to protect our home and not create anything to clean up. Their pricing is pretty tight to start with so not much room to negotiate but it seemed very fair.

I got three quotes and they were all a little different in how they planned to do the work. I didn?t dislike anything about it but I decided on a different company. Nothing was out of line with the price.

We had them do our attic insulation. We also had them come out recently to insulate the exterior walls. They are very pleasant and professional. The scheduling was no problem. The service representative was very knowledgeable. The workman who came out to do the work worked very efficiently and did a very good job. They were punctual, They were very clean and professional and we have been very satisfied with the work.

Payless personnel arrived when scheduled to provide me with a bid for services. I selected Payless because they blow in cellulose insulation, which is more environmentally friendly. Payless could have done the installation within the week, but I scheduled them three weeks out. The three-member team arrived on at the prescribed time. They were conscientious about being neat, quiet, cleaning up, inspecting for vents, etc. The job took about three hours. I inspected it when completed and think they did a fabulous job. They also showed me how open the new thermal "hatch for the attic stairwell.

I was very happy with the product that it has significantly reduced my energy bills by about a third. We definitely needed insulation; we didn't really have adequate insulation because it was very old and compressed insulation up there so this gave us something that we didn't have. It has made such a significant difference in the temperature in the house.

Very well. The estimate process was done well, and the actual installation went efficiently.

From start to finiash the experience was vey nice

They were able to schedule the work in a timely manner. The workers were polite and worked quickly. The process involved drilling holes and they did this neatly. I think the house is quieter and that we will be able to turn our thermostat up in the summer and down in the winter

I am very happy with the work performed and the increased comfort resulting from the added insulation. The attic portion of the job was performed quickly and they brought the blower hose in through a window close to the attic access to have as little impact on the home interior as possible. They had to drill nearly 60 holes in my garage ceiling to blow in the insulation between the 2 X 12 joists that separated the garage ceiling and the master bedroom floor. They patched and floated all holes. This portion of the job took nearly six hours to perform. When I asked the technician why it was taking so long, he replied that they had found no insulation in the space when drilling the holes. I brought this to the builder's attention (the house was built in 2007) and he adamantly denied that they had not insulated the space. I confirmed with Payless that there was indeed no insulation found in the space. Upon hearing this, the builder began bad-mouthing Payless about a job they did in his personal home years ago. Nonetheless, I am quite satisfied with the job Payless did for me.

After calling their office, I was put in touch with a consultant that scheduled an appointment to come out to bid on the job. He was on time and after reviewing our attic and current insulation, he presented a proposal for services which we accepted. The company's scheduler called the next day to set up a time for their crew to come and do the work. The crew arrived on time and the work was completed in about 5-6 hours.

They were very professional, prompt and I was pleased with the results.

They were prompt, efficient, and careful. Removal was by the book: on time, expeditious, and thorough. They scheduled the reinstallation within 48 hours of my call to tell them that our new roof was in place, and then they showed up almost on time and called to warn us of a traffic delay that made them a bit late. Both work crews obviously knew what they were doing and did it with dispatch. They covered all floors that their equipment might endanger, cleaned up the small mess they left (a miracle, given the nature of the job), and finished the work in one half day for each part of it. The result was entirely satisfactory.
