Patch Masters

I called him and he came out the same day. The estimate was very reasonable. He knew exactly what he was talking about. I think this guy is going to work out very well. I asked him questions that I knew the answers to, and he was right on it. I presented a couple of problems to him. We're having wallpaper removed and then, sheetrocked. I questioned him about putting a texture on the wall. He gave me the steps and he knew exactly what he was saying.

Wayne sealed the walls where the wallpaper had been removed, removed any bubbles in the paper from being wet and then floated/skim coated them to have a smooth starting point for texturing. Hardly any sanding was needed. A small section of a knee wall was also repaired with new sheetrock and it blends right in. The first coat of texturing had popped bubble/pockmarks and had to be re-done. Called Wayne on a Friday night and he was able to come out Saturday afternoon to apply a heavier coat of texture. The walls now look great! Wayne was very professional and particular about the quality of his work which was much appreciated. I would recommend him to others.

He did a really good job. He came out and gave me a quote and then did exactly what he said he would do for the said price. I liked him and I recommend him.

The patching and the texturing matches the existing wall texture perfectly. It looks as if there was never a hole there before.

e for the same repair of $980 (which did include painting the patched area) But I would choose Wayne any day to do my sheet rock repairs and I highly recommend him.

Had extensive dry wall repair in entire house and two story stair well. The job took seven days to complete. Several areas required that dry wall be cut out and replaced. Wayne did an excellent job matching wall textures, tape, floating, etc. Would hire him again and would recommend him.

My husband contacted Mr. Wayne and asked for his services. He showed up on time and gave us a fair price for the repair.. I need it the job finish before the weekend because I had planed to have a BabyShower on a Saturday.. He primise to repair the big whole in my leaving room before the weekend and he did! when I got home from work and I see that the wall was finish.. I was Happy that he made it look like nothing happened... My Husband was happy too he did not have to hear me complain.

Wayne was very responsive. Came out quickly after we called him. gave us a quote that was reasonable for the work. We called him later and set up a time for him to come 3 days later. He came out, got all the work done and was on his way. All the work he did looks really great, you can't see where the work begins or ends! We will use Patch Masters again!

Wayne was great to deal with. Very punctual and dependable. His seemingly brusque manner may bother some folks at first, but if you give him a chance, you'll find that he is true gentleman and a professional in his field who communicates in a straight forward, direct and honest manner. He gets to the point of what needs to be done, says how, how much and when. When he shows up to work, gets in, gets it done as he stated and gets out! Additionally, he stands by his work, based on his clients satisfaction. If they are satisfied, he is not either. A refreshing man to deal with and a very good "patch master".' One word of caution. Wayne does his best to preclude leaving a mess, but one has to realize, "he deals in dust" and despite his efforts to avoid leaving some dusty areas, there will be some to deal with after he leaves.

I called Wayne to discuss fixing a large hole in our ceiling. He was very honest and said because the job required scaffolding and extensive painting, he was not the right person for the job. I told him that I had already had a quote from another provider and discussed the work in detail. After speaking with him for 15-20 minutes he told me the other provider was offering to do the job for a fair price. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

Wayne was great to work with. We are remodeling our master bathroom and needed someone to come in and install and repair drywall and make it paint-ready, where some demolition occurred. Wayne responded to my call within a couple of hours and set a time the next day to come and give me a quote. It was reasonable and we scheduled him to come today to do the work. He got here at 9 am, worked until 2 pm. He previously thought the project would last 2 days but knocked it out in 1. Really pleased with how well he textured the wall to match the others exactly. Will be using him again when we start to work on the upstairs!

Wayne showed up on time with a great attitude and came prepared to work. He did a fantastic job!! We had a fairly large job with cracks from foundation shifts and a lot of holes to repair throughout he house including the ceiling. He did a very good job, the clean up was a bit of a mess just dry wall dust but had nothing to do with Wayne. I highly recommend him and my husband and I would call him again.

Wayne was punctual and polite. He gave me the description of what he would do, gave me the price and when I agreed, started work right then, finishing in 3 hours. The work looks great and I am very happy to have found him on Angie's list. Definitely keeping his number for future needs!

We had a company install a pivoting TV wall mount above our fireplace and it was not sunk into the stud and therefore ripped off the wall. We called Wayne who was able to come out that day and had the hole patched in a couple of hours. He was great and kept the house clean and was very helpful. We would definitely use him again.

The person that worked for me was really reliable and expert in his field. He was very competent and his quote was lower than other people and he worked really hard. The only issue I have is that he doesn’t do painting, so I have to go to another person to paint.

Perfect! Honestly nothing but perfection. Timely and excellent talent.

He responded quickly to my voice mail. He arrived on time and performed the services as expected and performed them quickly. He also cleaned up fairly well afterwards. He even put some plaster on a separate crack in the ceiling that was related to the hole and he didn't charge extra for that. He was very professional and did a good job.

The provider responded within an hour of me contacting me. We scheduled the job for the next day. He was on time, adequately explained the entire process of patching up both holes. The price was good and the work performed was impeccable!

Let me give you the bottom line first. I would definitely employ Wayne and Patch Masters again and I would do so without hesitation. The work was excellent, the price was right, and Wayne showed up on time and did his job well. Why did I employ Wayne? Simple... Patch Masters had the most positive reviews and good reports on price. I was impressed. Those good reviews were justified because, after my own experience with Wayne, I am sure those great reviews were earned. There is a possible downside--a theme that runs through many of the reports. Wayne is not a salesman. He is a drywall contractor who does his own work. It is not in his nature to sweet talk people, close a deal, only to send a team in to do the job. Instead, he takes responsibility for the task he alone performs. No, Wayne is not especially charming on the phone and frankly after our first conversation, I was a bit put off. Even so, in my home, I found him to be cordial, frank, and professional. In short, I have judged him both honest and trustworthy--traits which, in my view, rank far above superficial charm. Wayne sized the drywall to the appropriate sections of the house's frame. He then hung it using screws before finally texturing it. One portion of a bedroom wall posed more problems than the other two. On that section he had to add Quick Set to build out the wall until it was perfectly level. In total, the work took the better part of three-days. The end result was impressive. As I said, I can recommend Wayne and Patch Masters without any reservations whatsoever. I am most pleased with the work performed.

Wayne did an excellent job. He came on time, got right to work, and did a good job cleaning up after completion of the work.

Provider arrived and went straight to work. He brought everything he needed. Job was completed in a matter of hours. He cleaned up and was very professional.

Wayne did a great job...I would highly recommend him for any job and he'll be the first I call next time I need work done! He quoted me a lump sum price for all materials and time...the job ended up taking a little longer than he expected but he worked hard and didn't try to charge me additional. He was prompt, efficient, and professional. Not only that but his work looked great! After I was finished painting the interior drywall you couldn't even tell where the new drywall / texture started and the old drywall / texture ended. It was really slick.

Wayne showed up on time, looked over the jobs and we agreed on a price. He performed the work right then which was great for us. He was quick polite, will use him again if I ever needed texture work done.

I called Wayne on May 23rd. We discussed the whole in the garage and he quoted me a price and we agreed on a date/time for the next day. I expressed the urgency because I was moving out of a rented home and would have the inspection the following day I wanted to get the hole fixed so it wouldn't come out of my deposit. He was very accommodating. He was punctual and arrived at the agreed time the next day. He finished the job in one day. There were phases so he did some work then left and came back a couple of hours later and did some more. I had to the leave the house at one point and left him in the garage to do the work. He secured the garage, called and told me he needed to get back in so I came back to the house and he finished the work. It was excellently done and you couldn't never tell that there was a hole there. I would certainly use Wayne for any and all drywall work I have in the future. Note: Frankly I don't remember the exact price I was charged but it was in the $200-300 ballpark.
