Patch Masters

I've worked with many contractors over the years and Wayne rates right at the top. Movers had dropped a heavy piece of furniture into a stairwell wall, creating a lot of damage. Many deep scuffs and a whole about the size of an orange. I reached out to Wayne and right from the initial contact things went great. He called back quickly, agreed to a meeting on Saturday and even arrived a little early. The repairs were done quickly and he was able to do a good job matching the texture and paint. I would highly recommend Patch Masters for any drywall repair or painting projects.

Wayne completed the repairs within the time frame provided and clearly indicated that we should follow up with him in the event we were not pleased. Great job overall.

Repaired and texture many areas in the home that had holes in the walls (large and small). Repaired large area in ceiling that had water damage from attic water heater leak - texture matched well. Also took down wallpaper and ready'd a large dining room area and textured. He also fixed a few small things that were not asked in initial quote or things I may have overlooked. I was an hour+ late to our initial estimate meeting due to taking a child to the Dr. and he was very patient and kind, and waited for me at the home. A+++ I would hire again in a heartbeat. I scheduled an appt to obtain a quote for some repair work on two areas of ceiling. Wayne arrived early, reviewed work to be done and gave the quote. Because this was an occupied rental property, I was unsure of ideal start date for the work. I stayed in touch with Wayne during this period. As soon as I had a confirmed date, I let him know. The first available day was a Sunday -- on short notice he was able to accommodate our time frame. On the day of the job, he again arrived early and let me know that he would complete the work that day. This was ideal for us. I even asked to increase the scope of the original project -- he was very accommodating. Wayne did a great job. The ceiling looks amazing -- it is no longer what your eyes are immediately drawn to. Even the new renter commented on how much better it looks. It blends flawlessly with the rest of the ceiling. He was professional, pleasant and easy to work with. I will definitely call Wayne for future work.

I had let it go for a long time, and I wanted to do some painting. He came and patched the sheetrock. He explained that I needed to put a primer on before I painted. And I can't even tell he did the patchwork. It was great. I felt like it was well-worth money.

Wayne arrived on time (actually a day early because a prior appointment had cancelled) and performed the work efficiently and within the stated time period. He did a great job replacing the damaged drywall and blending in the new drywall. Painting was not done, but this was agreed upon ahead of time (agree that it is the homeowners responsibility to match the paint). Price was very reasonable for the work performed and I would definitely hire Wayne again should I have a future need.

My ceiling in a bedroom had caved in due to a leak in the attic. Called Patch Masters. Wayne came out very quickly after my initial call and gave an estimate. On the date we set, he came back, started and finished the job in a few hours....exactly as he said he would. But....not only did he do the job, as we discussed, he noticed (and pointed out) a problem in the hallway that needed fixing and he did that, as well.

I called Wayne for an estimate and he came over and looked at the cracks and gave a price. He agreed to be over next day and do the repairs. He came at the agreed time and fixed the cracks by tape and floating the wall and door frame. Mr. Goldberg is a very professional and knowledgeable person in dry wall primarily. The price did not include painting over the repairs in drywall. I would hire him again and recommend him. He takes the time to do the job right.

I called Mr. Goldberg and left a message. He returned the called within a few hours. He was able to come that day and give me an estimate to do the job. He was my third estimate and the most reasonable. On the scheduled day, Mr. Goldberg was very punctual and professional. He protected my hardwood floors with plastic and worked quietly and efficiently. He was able to do my job in 3 hours. The other two companies told me it would take two to three visits. Mr. Goldberg matched the texture to my existing walls and did it beautifully. I highly recommend him for any small drywall repair. His pricing was more than fair. I will use him again. Wayne was able to come the same day I called for a quote, which was great. His quote was reasonable and he was able to start the next day, so he got the job. We have not painted yet, but the texture looks the same...it really is an art and he is good at it. He was prompt (in fact a little early which was nice) and finished the job in one day. Wayne is a pleasant man who takes pride in his work. We would definitely hire him again.

Wayne made a patch to repair hole, taped & spackeled seams and texturized area to match exactly the rest of the wall. All took about an hour & half including drying time. Wayne supplied all materials necessary for the job. After I painted the area you would never know that a patch existed. I am totally satisfied with this project.

Wayne arrived promptly on time and gave me a quick cost estimate for fixing the hole in the drywall. His price was very reasonable and I agreed to the job. He fixed the drywall hole on the spot and refinished the wall surface. The patch job looks great, and you can't tell the hole was ever there. Wayne was great. He patched gaps between rooms where walls had been torn out, replaced the ceiling in my kitchen, completed a wall where a door had been torn out, and matched the textures between rooms. He was easy to get ahold of and started work when I asked him too.

After my husband located Patch Masters on Angie's list (had over two dozen reports), I called Wayne at Patch Masters and left a message. He called back shortly thereafter and scheduled an appointment to do the work the next day. He arrived on time and went to work. He worked quietly and efficiently removing the damaged drywall, putting a new drywall piece in its place, taping and floating, and matching the previous texture. He put down plastic and contained the majority of the mess (hard to contain all the dust cutting out damaged drywall). Wayne did exactly what we asked him to do. Thank you Patch Masters!

Wayne was great from start to finish. He returned my call promptly, came over the very same day to give the estimate and gave the following day to make the repairs. He was on time and did the job right. I will definitely use him again in the future.

The entire experience, from initial phone call to completion of the work could not have gone any better. It would be virtually impossible to hire a better drywall contractor based on price, promptness and quality of work. Patch Masters will be our sole source for all required drywall work.

Wayne was quite prompt returning my initial phone call and set an appointment to give me an estimate on a Saturday afternoon. He called 30 minutes prior to arrival to ensure I was still alright with him stopping by and arrived right on time. He was specific as to what his estimate did and did not include. Wayne was happy to work with my schedule and offered to do the work the next day (a Sunday). Honestly I was suprised that a contractor would be so willling to work on the weekends, especially for a small job. On Sunday he called 30 minutes prior to his stated start time to confirm and arrived promptly. He went straight to work, laying down a plastic sheet to keep the area clean (I wish the plumber I'd used had been so diligent). The repairs were completed quickly and the texture was matched much better than I expected. All in all, I couldn't be happier and I would not hesitate to use Patch Masters again.

After spending quite a bit of money on the plumbing repair, I was left with two holes in the kitchen ceiling that needed covering. I called several people, from Angie's list as well as friends' and family recommendations. Almost all of them quoted me a higher price, and some declined to even come and look at the job when I expressed that the over the phone quote was too high for my budget. Mr. Goldberg offered to come anyway and told me that he would work with me. He came on a Saturday, took a look at what needed to be done, quoted me the lowest price thus far, agreed to come on a Sunday to accomodate my availability, showed up on time, brought all the needed supplies, did an excellent job --no one can tell where the holes were; cleaned after himself and was very polite throughout the whole process. I most definitely will call him next time I need any kind of sheetrock/drywall work done and will most certainly recommend him to anyone that needs that kind of service.

From the initial meeting to estimate the work, I was happy with the level of knowledge he showed and the way he answered all my questions. His quote was reasonable (had 2 others for comparision) and his scheduling worked with my requirements. There were a few minor delays due to scheduling issues on his side, but they were not problematic. The job went well and he made all changes as requested and even did some extra repairs. Overall the repairs look good, the price was reasonable, the project was done within my timeline and he was pleasant to work with!
