Wayne did an excellent job. He accommodated our difficult schedule, did great work, and his rate was very reasonable. This is the first time I've used Angie's list to find a contractor and it couldn't have gone better. Would definitely recommend Patch Masters to anybody needing sheet rock repair.

I had used Wayne in the past and was very happy with his work. We used him again to repair sheetrock in 4 townhomes. Some of the units had major problems where an AC guy had recklessly torn out sheetrock. All the repairs look fantastic. Also, he actually lowered the original quote by a couple hundred dollars when he was 1/2 way through with the job - - a first for me! He said that he didn't think the job would take as long as he had anticipated and wanted to be fair about the price. I really appreciate the honesty - - that's extremely rare to find. Wayne is extremely good at what he does, he's very professional and he shows up when he says he will be there. After working with many contractors on these townhomes, it is almost impossible to come across individuals with these traits. I would not consider using anyone but Wayne for sheetrock.

I was replacing the trim in my garage apt. and damaged my drywall which revealed some mold under the paint. There was also some patching needed in the bathroom where the shower had been installed. The ceiling had large gaping cracks and was in need of repair before painting. Wayne came out and priced the work at $250 which seemed a very good price and we organized for him to come the next week....Over the weekend I removed more of the trim and of course created more work for Wayne. We decided that it would look much nicer to re-texure the walls before I painted. The price changed to $500 which was again fair for the extra work. The ceiling turned out to be more work.... The supports were termite damaged and a mess. Wayne called for me to come home and see the new scope. We agreed on a price change to $750. This ended up being a much larger job than expected. I feel I got very good value for the amount of work done. It was done well! I had a large clean up after Wayne left, but considering the work that was done I feel it was fair. Plaster and sheetrock is a messy job, but easy to clean up with water and a mop. Now finished and painted the room looks fantastic!! Thank you Wayne i'll be calling you for any future repairs.

At first, there was a bit of uncertainty as Wayne wasn't sure when he'd be free, but once on site he got the job done in a timely manner. He brought his own plastic sheeting to protect the carpet. He was completely professional. After he fixed the 30 inch square hole, he matched the top-coat plaster to match the the finish on the wall. Once I'd painted over it, you couldn't even see that there had been a hole there.

Wayne arrived on time for both the estimate and the performance of the work. He kept me informed throughout the process and finished in the time he had originally estimated. He was careful to drape the floor and appliances so that insulation and dust from the work did not spread from the work area. I would not hesitate to call him again and recommend him to others in need of any size drywall repair.

It took Wayne two days and one morning to do the work, just as he had estimated. I was mostly pleased with the work but noticed some areas where the patches were pretty obvious. I decided to put primer over everything (early March 2014) and then see how it looked. There still were a handful of areas where the repairs were obvious, so I called Wayne and asked him if he could stop by and take a look. He was more than happy to do so and he completely agreed with my concerns. He came back on Saturday morning and reworked the areas. I was pleased to see that the repairs looked very good and matched the surrounding walls. If you are not totally happy with his work, let him know so he can fix it for you. I also thought he was very capable of re-texturing to match the surrounding walls.
Description of Work: I had numerous cracks throughout the house, including several in the ceiling, from before and after my foundation was leveled in 2013. The house also was totally replumbed last year, so there were a number of holes to repair and one huge opening in the ceiling in my garage.

I highly recommend Wayne for any work, in fact I have him scheduled for additional work, Marc 2014, following Plumbers removing all the galvanized water pipes in the house with new plumbing.
Description of Work: Had Wayne remove Popcorn material from 5 ceiling areas in my, replaced by a "stomp and drag" effect, had holes covered and prepared for painting. Wayne was very efficient, honest, friendly and clean. He performed the work we planned on, for the agreed cost agreed on. In fact, additional sheetrock was done due to electrical work being done, that had not been planned on. He was very flexible, accomplishing all the work in a very compressed schedule. I find Wayne very professional, provided excellent advice while the work was being performed.

Most of the work performed was well done. However, one of the areas worked (work completed on Friday 2/21) as of today (Sun 2/23) has bubbled and cracked which will require further repairs. It appears that too much product was used on the surface (ceiling area in the kitchen). Additionally, on Sat. 2/22, it discovered that drywall repairs were done in a room that was not in scope of the project which has created an additional home repair project that was not budgeted at this time. This area was not ever shown to this contractor as part of the work

This sole proprietor businessman convinced me that he was capable of not only repairing the holes that were left in my walls but that he could also redo all the walls in my two bathrooms without having to remove the existing wallpaper. It became obvious that he had underestimated his ability to see the job through to completion and also the amount of time it would take to do the job right. Mr. Goldberg's heart may be in the right place as I believe that he was genuinely sorry about my dissatisfaction with the job but he finally admitted to me that he is not a fine detail person and mostly just does smaller repair jobs. I believe that he was as happy to be let off the hook for the job as I was to see him go. I advised Mr. Goldberg that he needs to be more upfront and honest with his customers about his limitations. I picked him for this job after another Angie's list customer failed to ever respond to my request for a job review and estimate but I have also learned that just because someone does not have any negative reviews it does not mean they are the right person for the job. Make sure you ask lots of questions and pray that you are getting an honest self evaluation. I had to think about this for a whole year before writing this review but decided that I did need to let others know about my experience so they could make an informed choice.

wow ! With all due respect;the bulk of the work was satisfactory....a couple of the patches with sand texture were difficult to match exactly......but the resurfacing of the bathroom walls with a smooth finish(which I feel came out just nicely)created an inordinate amount of dust........the clean up at the end of the day was incomplete.....totally unsatisfactory ........upon my return the following day,[removed member name] just wanted me gone .The damage was done. All I could do was apologize and leave.

We had a water leak in the attic that caused the ceiling to collapse in one spot. Wayne replaced approximately 2 panels. We called Wayne for an estimate, and he came out to look at the damage on a Saturday. I liked his priced, and asked him to make the repair. He set us up for the repair to start on Monday morning, and arrived exactly on time. This repair created a lot of dust, but Wayne covered the floor with paper and the furniture with plastic and cleaned up after the job was finished. We did have to dust, but that was an easy task. I will definitely call Wayne the next time we need a repair!

Wayne Goldberg of Patch Masters came out the same day I called and provided me an estimate of what the costs would be and when he could start the job (the following week). Wayne called me the night before he started the work to confirm that he would be arriving the next day as agreed to begin the work and he told me what time he would be arriving. Wayne came to my house and started the work exactly when he said he would and completed the work in 2 days. All of his work was of high quality. Additionally, he helped me by patching a few nicks and holes that were in the garage which was greatly appreciated. Wayne clearly explained what he was going to do and answered my questions during the process. I was very concerned that the repaired holes would have texturing to match the surrounding walls. Wayne accommodated my concerns and the repaired walls were a very good match to the surrounding walls. If I have future drywall needs I will definitely call Wayne (Patch Master).

Mr. Goldberg really knows how to make holes in drywall disappear. His ability to match the texture of the wall is worth every penny--if you can match the paint, the hole will be gone forever. He also gave me some good advice about work that I was thinking about asking him to do prematurely (following a foundation repair) and he advised that I wait, which was very honest and helpful of him.

I called Patch Masters to redo the drywall holes. Mr. Goldberg's work was so good that after painting, one could not tell where the patches were. Not to mention he matched two types of texturing. Outstanding work and would use again, I highly recommend him to anyone. The quote he gave us was right on the money although he did a bit more when he found some bad drywall on a ceiling in the living area and cut it out, which made for a odd shape, but was no problem for this gentleman. All the patches were done in a single day, and expertly mudded. He returned the following day to sand and redo the texture. We are very grateful for the professionalism and quick work of the job.
Description of Work: We were having quite a few water leaks from old galvanized pipes, in a two story home, new PVC would have created a very expensive job, thus needing drywall and wooden walls repaired (as much as the new pipes), we called Pickett Plumbing to coat the galvanized pipes with Dura Flo epoxy. They left seven varying size holes in the drywall, and needed someone to patch them and match the texture.

Wayne did a very good job with the repair. The end product was the same as the wall around. The experience was mostly good, but he did leave a pretty big mess associated with the work. I don't know that anyone could have done it better since I haven't had a lot of drywall work done. Wayne kept me up to date on what he was doing, but worked independently.

You asked me how long it would take to repair your drywall damage.I said that I had no idea. Not having seen the situation;I didn't know how much work the job required.Regardless'I you expressed a sense of urgency'and as I was booked solid for the next couple weeks,I suggested you hire one of the other contractors with whom you had scheduled estimate meetings.Obviously,my response was not satisfactory.

Wayne is very knowledgeable and professional about his work. He took the time to explain thoroughly about what was going on, how it could have happened, and what needs to be done. He inspected the areas for additional damage so i won't run into any future "Gotchas". He doesn't paint, but took the repair\replacement all the way to the priming level so all I would need to do is paint. I would definitely do business with Patch Masters again. A+
